Orange Chicken

Awesome local spot in Lemon Grove! We love coming here for Chinese eats that hits. The staff/owner are very welcoming and kind. The food is very good and the portions are generous whether you are dining in or taking out. The dining room is quiet and service is quick and very good. Definitely a recommended spot. Show them some love!

I always want to support small local businesses, but I cannot recommend this place. For $14.50 I ordered the chicken curry plate with rice. What I received was a plate with liquids (did not taste like curry) with large chunks of bell peppers, onion; a few carrot shavings, and tiny pieces of chicken. I tried to pour some of the liquid out and added some rice- but this was inedible. The liquid sauce was painfully sweet with no spice and just filled the entire container. It is a disappointment because they were kind and helpful on phone and it's at a convenient location.

Always a delight. Clean friendly great parking. Try the lunch specials, all under $8.00 with tax. Really delicious selections.

Mongolian beef

Ordered Mongolian beef and got all veggies meat had no flavor. Place is sketchy. I ordered a coke and he pours half of it and kept the other half full of ice and kept the can, I had to ask for it. Don't come it's horrible here. I would give negative stars.

At first glance, this place doesn't look like much, but the food is GREAT. The Orange Chicken, and Sweet n Sour Pork is the best. The prices are incredibly inexpensive compared to similar restaurants and they have a dinner special that will fill you up for less than $20. They offer an amazing selection of Pho, Vietnamese food, Chinese food, and seafood. You'd be hard pressed to find a better value. They also have ice cold beer. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner if you're looking for a delicious meal at fast food prices.

All these years in Lemon Grove and I have never tried this restaurant. The food here is fresh and tasty. The chicken chop suey had perfectly cooked veggies that weren't soggy or overly drenched in sauce, and the House Fried Rice did not skimp on the meat. It also looks like they have an extensive lunch menu at a decent price of $7.95 a plate. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and showed each dish to me to make sure everything was correct before bagging it up. I found out they do deliver but only for $20 minimum and within a mile or so of their location. Finding good Chinese close to home will now save me a trip to Chef China in Casa de Oro, so this was a win for me.

Everything was so good. I never thought this place was so close to me & super bomb. I will be coming back. My son loved it.

We came here for lunch on Labor Day which we got to choose from a lunch special menu. I used to come here a lot when I worked in Lemon Grove back in the day. The restaurant is small and they replaced those old booths with tables. As we sat down, we got iced waters. I chose the mushroom chicken which was pretty good. Everything was hot and fresh. I got a side of rice, egg roll and the mushroom chicken. It was good. The guy serving us was nice. The only complaint I had was how hot it was inside. Fans were on but that just blew around hot air. I was literally sweating. Parking is limited up front but we parked a little ways away. It literally is located on the corner. I would come back but maybe when the weather gets cooler. It's very uncomfortable to eat fresh hot food when it's hot outside.

Dinned in, and had the fried chicken, was AMAZING! Customer service was exceptional- we were the only customer.

Great service and lunch special! Inside the fans were on during a hot afternoon and it was nice. I look forward to returning!

Don't try to order delivery from here if your 2 miles away. They won't even delivery to la Mesa.

We ordered takeout on a Sunday night, and they told us it would be ready in 10-15 minutes, which…read morewas pretty quick! These are hands down the best salt and pepper wings in SD. And whoever says Golden Chopsticks is better is lying. The seasoning here is absolutely perfect. It's flavorful without being overpowering or overly salty like Golden Chopsticks can be. You can also tell the difference in the oil they use. I really dislike when fried food tastes like old, reused oil, but these wings don't have that taste at all. They're also not overly greasy, which makes them so much easier to eat. Normally, when wings are too greasy, I can only manage one or two before getting tired of them, but I ended up eating four in one sitting! For $16, you get a generous amount of wings, making this a better deal than Wingstop in my opinion for fresher better quality wings. We saw a TikToker recommend ordering extra green onions and getting the sauce on the side, so we decided to try it. SO GOOD. Our total came out to $21 with a side of rice, and it was absolutely worth it. We dipped the wings in the extra sauce and also poured a little over our rice. Personally, I loved having the extra green onions on the wings, and mixing them into the rice with the sauce was delicious, too. We even had leftovers for lunch the next day, and the wings were still really good! I also saved the leftover sauce with the green onions to use for scrambled eggs because I knew it would be too good to waste. I honestly can't wait to come back. If you're ordering the salt and pepper wings, definitely get the extra green onions and sauce on the side!
