When I was a kid my grandmother used to bring me here. She liked this restaurant and it brings a certain amount of fond memories back for me. It hasn't changed much over the years and I'm fine with that. I've ordered takeout from here a couple times in last few months and we enjoyed it overall. I mostly like the vegetable dishes, but I had a little of one of the chicken dishes and it was good. I think we ordered spring rolls recently and they were pretty crispy and tasty as well. I probably wouldn't drive out that way just for the food, but it's a good option if I'm nearby. We came here for an early lunch around 11 am. As we entered, we were seated by the nice lady in the restaurant. It's small and probably can accommodate around 50 people. Anyway, we got iced waters to drink. Lunch specials are from $5.99 to $7.99 depending on what you order. I decided to get chicken chow mein because I love noodles. It comes with either fried or steamed rice and an veggie egg roll. I got steamed rice. The noodles were thinner here as I am used to thick noodles. The taste was okay but I am used to soy sauce in my noodles. It looked red for some reason. The veggie roll was okay. I like meat in my egg roll. However the egg drop soup was good. I enjoyed that. Food came out quick. It was okay. The lady was nice and came by to check up on us. Maybe I should have ordered something else. I will have to give it another try. My friends and I came here for dinner and literally had to be carried out of here because the food was so good that we couldn't stop eating. What's better then great Chinese food that's incredibly cheap? Nothing that's what! and That's what you get here. We ordered a slew of food from the popular Salt and pepper chicken to the seafood fried rice. First, the amazing salt and pepper chicken, they were so perfectly cooked and came as huge pieces. They were not overly saturated with salt like most places and served with a golden brown crisp on it. We also had the seafood fried rice, honey walnut shrimp with the chicken corn chowder. My friends ordered the house special chow main and the beef and broccoli dish with a side order of the house special chow mein. All these dishes were cooked just right. This place is starange. Their "fried rice" is the worst I have ever had. Same with their orange chicken. There is literally NO chicken in it. It is 100% bread. However, their Kung Pao is on POINT! This is the worst Chinese food establishment ever! I can't even call it a restaurant because I can barely walk through the door! The food is like cardboard and they never get my order right. I go for their sesame balls. Yes, I'm aware they are probably not hand-made on the premises but they get them done right. Their main courses are generally tasty and a generous portion. I know that many of their customers share two complaints I have: they give you something different from what you ordered and the inside smells weird. We only order take-out and it's super annoying when you forget to check your order before you leave because you just might end up eating something you didn't want just so you don't have to go back. I admire them for their English, but it's often not mastered enough to communicate. Good luck in correcting your messed up order. Don't know where all these glowing comments of Panda house came from, but the food was absolutely horrible. We each got a combination plate, one being sweet and sour pork and the other seschuan chicken. The fried rice was awful. Not sure how to describe it. Tasted old. The butterfly shrimp was way overcooked and very dry. The pineapple and other veggies in the sweet and sour pork had a soapy taste. I'm a clean plate sort of guy and this is the 1st time dining out where i left almost all the food on the plate. We got takeout from this place during covid and it was very good. We told the waitress about the awful food and she told us that the chef is new. She did give us 10% off the bill . We wanted a full refund(yes it was that bad), but were told that the manager wasn't there. Will never go back to this place. Have you ever had a delicious meal at a restaurant and taken home the leftovers, only to be less than satisfied the second time around? That doesn't happen here. I keep getting the pineapple chicken and my husband's go-to is the chicken fried rice and these are always delicious every time. I have also ordered the gyoza/potstickers which are amazing, but I have never had them as leftovers because they go so fast. Went here for the first time on 12/19/2020. I placed our order online and was told 20 minutes. Walked up to the take out window and waited in line for approximately 15 minutes just to get to the window. Lady was yelling through an old school microphone to check in orders. Finally left with my food after she found it somewhere in the kitchen and got home to find that part of my order was missing. I called and called to advise I was returning and no answer. Get there and the line is even longer. I wait almost 20 minutes to tell her I had missing food and finally get what they forget. Get home and the first part I picked up was room temperature. BBQ pork wonton soup gets 5 stars. Regular wonton soup gets 3 stars. Orange chicken, which was red, gets 3 stars. Honey Walnut chicken gets 4 stars. I don't know how I keep forgetting to review this place. It's absolutely amazing. I've been there maybe 3x in the last month. It's definitely a place you can tell frequents carry out meals but is still large enough for sit down patrons or decent size groups. The soup here was creamy in texture and the flavor was abundant, the only thing I didn't like was the excessive amount of corn . I don't care for corn, I think they should at least have two options for the soup. But the third time I ordered it ( the second time they had already added the corn, and of course couldn't be taken out) they were very accommodating and there was no corn, yes! I stepped into this place thinking good thoughts due to the customer service I received upon entry, but once I received my food and discovered that my food was full of error I quickly returned it. Our order consisted of Salt and Pepper chicken Kung Pao chicken Wonton soup Let's start with the salt n pepper chicken. The chicken was sweet, which is the exact opposite of what salt and pepper chicken is supposed to be. The Kung pao chicken tasted like fish, so horrible I couldn't swallow it. Now normally if you have an issue with your food you take it back, explain what happened, and then you get your money back or exchange in order. I was told "Well sir since you ordered the food and we made it according to your order that's it." Even though they argued that there was no way the food tasted bad, I persisted and they told me that I had to pay for the two wings my wife and I tried. How do you charge someone for your mistake?
