Went here for lunch last week as this is a new place. The food is fairly good and the service was great, but we were the only ones in there at the time. The food could use more flavor as we like it a bit spicier. The prices were excellent and the portions were decent. We did ask for some extra hot spices to give the food some zip. I would like to go again and try some of the other menu items they have and that will be our tell tale if we will visit again. We Yelped restaurants and I saw my buddy Juan's review and decided to give Panda House a try since we were in the area and wanted Chinese food. We arrived here about 12:30 and there were only a few cars in the parking lot. The restaurant looks like a Chinese restaurant from the 70s. There was only one old waitress for about four full tables of lunch customers. She seemed very frazzled and was sweating profusely. She finally took our order and dripped sweat onto one of the Chinese Horoscope placemats on our table. Our table ordered some of the $4.95 lunch specials which includes soup, rice, egg roll, and the entree. We ordered: Kung Pao Chicken Mongolian Beef. Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings. Mapo Tofu with Pork The Kung Pao Chicken and the Mongolian Beef arrived within minutes. We had to ask about our soup, she forgot. She brought the soup right out. After five minutes later, the Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings finally arrived. After about five more minutes (when everyone was done eating), the Mapo Tofu with Pork finally arrived. The food was excellent!!! The prices are outstanding. We will be back! Next time, we will bring a rain coat so the waitress doesn't sweat on us. read more

This place is horrible. Food is inconsistent and usually stale or overcooked. To staff doesn't speak English enough to get the order right and then if you complain, good luck getting any where. I ordered the chicken fried rice, which is about the only thing I've ever ordered that's consistent. Upon returning home , I discovered it was pork, or some type of animal, but definitely not chicken. I called and agreed to return to the restaurant to get chicken fried rice, like I ordered. When I arrived i was confronted by to staff members who barely spoke English, insisting that it was peking chicken (?). No apology, no refund, but they brought out a plate of old peking chicken to show me..... Save your stomach.... read more

Someone tear me away from this place! Not only is it conveniently close to my place, the food is one of the best Chinese I have ever eaten. Best of all, it's pretty damn cheap! I come here every week or two and the owners already know my face and are so nice to me, haha. Just remember to make sure that you effectively communicate what you want since their English is a little weak. My recommendations: Salt and Pepper Chicken: Everyone comes here for this. There's a reason for that and I can't even explain. ;) Imperial Pan Fried Noodle: Like your regular Chow Mein, but more saucy. It's on the actual menu (not takeout) written in pen. Food is good. The only problem I had is the lady that took my order over the phone did not speak English clear, that resulted in her getting my order wrong. Reasonable prices, good portion sizes. I got the sesame chicken and fried rice, and hubby had sweet and sour pork and white rice. Sesame chicken was good, nice and crispy, but there wasn't quite enough sauce. Sauce had good flavor though. Fried rice had good flavor but where were the peas, carrots, eggs, etc? Every other Chinese restaurant where I've ordered fried rice has had those things in it. Also the fried rice was a bit too dry. Hubby seemed to like his sweet and sour pork. But the sauce spilled into the bag and got everything all sticky. Wish they had bagged his food separate or lined the box with foil or something to contain the mess. This place is not a fancy smancy kind of place. It has come a long way from the previous ownership. This is a hard working family owned business. The food is very fresh, taste is exceptional, better than most. The waitresses are so kind. Sometimes, it may be a little understaffed. A little patience and support that they are trying to make ends meet and are giving it all they've got! I love the Salt n Pepper Chicken meat, the wings and the shrimp with no shell. You should try all three, really tasty. THe BBQ Pork Fried Rice - is an explosion of flavor with every mouthful, the Chicken Brocolli couldn't be fresher! My wife and I tried this place not too long ago and it was a very enjoyable experience. Apparently my wife used to eat here with her family when she was younger, but she didnt know until we showed up. They have a drive thru window as well as walking up to pick up your order. We got out order by calling in and picking up at the front door. We ordered the Egg Drop Soup, which was probably the best that we have ordered in a very long time. My wife loves the stuff and is a huge critic, this place passed with flying colors. Also as an appetizer we ordered dumplings and eggrolls, both were astounding. For the entrees we ordered sweet and sour pork and orange chicken. When trying some place new we like to get the basic stuff to see how it comes out to start. I can easily say that the food was the best Chinese food I have ordered and ate in a long time. Panda House blows the competition out of the water. Another huge perk was the amount of food, with what we ordered we did not come close to eating it all, and had left overs for days. read more

Solid 4 stars. A go to place for inexpensive chinese food that's good, plentiful and fast. Service is friendly, quirky and fast. A great place to grab lunch, or dinner when you're just not ready to cook. This isn't "bistro" food and nor should you expect that. Great Chinese place to go to when I crave it and its great for takeout! The food feels very authentic (I mean it's cooked by Chinese people lol) but I like it especially because the portion sizes + price ratio is good. Have been coming here for a while and food is always good and almost better than expected with size-able portions. Although the area is not the best part of town and hate driving through it I will always go out of my way to pick up some take-out as it's so tasty. Salt and pepper chicken wings are so bomb here and always cooked perfectly. The last few times I have picked up I noticed and heard some locals being incredibly rude to these hard workers. It's sad to see honestly since I used to dine-in as this was my go to spot with my sister for some time when we used to live in the area. Yummmmmm. First time here. Got the po po platter, the fried shrimp was good, also ordered the sweet & sour pork. The meat was cooked well & still had a crispiness too it. The sauce was good, not too thick or thin. Their fried rice was ok. Could've used more ingredients in it but when mixed with the sweet & sour, it was perfect. This place has gone through so many different owners.... This one might stick though. The food is decent. Not the best I've had, not the worst. It's safe to eat though. ;) I love that you can order online and they deliver. Lunch combos are $5 but you have to have a minimum order of $25 not including tax or tip for delivery. However, once order was placed and we got our confirmation email, it took close to an hour before we got our food. (Almost 2pm) I called after 45 min to make sure that they had our order. She said it was on its way. We live literally two min away driving.... Not sure why this took close to an hour. They forgot our soup which was a bummer. There wasn't anything in my cream cheese wontons... Not really any cream cheese. Egg rolls were good as well as the House fried rice and chow main. The lady who dropped it off was nice enough. Next time we will go pick it up ourselves so we can double check our order and hopefully not wait an hour. read more

I've came here before many times with my mom and the service and food has always been great. I haven't been in around a year and a half but decided to take my friend with me when she was in town. The server barked at my friend when she asked if she could still order off the lunch menu five 10 minutes after the lunch time and after us being there for maybe an hour and half they asked us if we could pay so that we could leave even though they weren't closing anytime soon. Nice greeting once I entered. The first thing she offer was salt and pepper wings, however I don't eat meat. I ordered the tofu in orange sauce .... Let's just say it's in the trash. If I could give this place more than 5-stars I would! EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING tastes good here! The rice here is so soft, fluffy, and flavorful! It's literally the best rice I've had from a restaurant. We also love their salted pepper chicken wings! The women who shows us to our table is always sweet and nice. Very, very thick accent, but it's nothing a rocket scientist couldn't figure out. The portions are HUGE and EVERYTHING is CHEAP! I love this place! Couple issues 1. Customer service. The counter lady was not exactly welcoming. I'm sure she is a warm sweet person in her personal life, but not exactly here. I suggest how the guest is doing. Or telling them to have a good day or night. That would have helped. If I experience that next time, I might reconsider my original rating. She didn't have a bad attidude. She is just unaware of how sharp she comes across. So, a warm greeting solves that problem. 2. The kung pao shrimp. I give them credit, the sauce was Great! And there were no celery and carrots in it. But the white onions. It needed more cooking. At least 45 seconds to a minute more. It was raw. So that flavor overpowered the dish greatly. So that's why 3 stars. Other than that, at least this restaurant bothers to change the cooking oil. The egg roll and shrimp were perfectly crispy and not oily. They were great. The egg flower soup was good as well. The kung pao shrimp would've been a home run. Cooked shrimp, and I love it when the recipe calls for bell peppers, green onions, and white onions. Very basic, but that's exactly the way I like it. Peanuts were not overcooked. The sauce was fantastic! I will probably come back and try it again. I hope that the raw onions was a one time mistake.
