Got there at 6:00 pm on Saturday with no reservation. We were a party of 6. They seated us at a table set up for 8 with a lazy Susan in the center of the table. Our glasses were filled with water and menus were given to each and asked for drink orders. We ordered Spare Ribs, Pork Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon and dumplings as appetizers for the table . I ordered an egg roll, Won Ton Soup, Chicken and Broccoli with Brown Rice. Others had Egg drop soup, hot and sour soup. They brought out a pot of tea and put it on the lazy Susan so we could pass it around. Sweet and sour chicken, Shrimp in a garlic sauce, Beef with vegetables, pork, lo mein were among the other entrees. The place was quiet. Our waitress was efficient . The food was very tasty. The brown sauce of my chicken and broccoli had a distinct and very pleasant flavor. Everyone was satisfied with the appetizers and their entree. Panda House provides nice Chinese food in a good setup. We went on Valentine's day for lunch and it was getting crowded. The Scallion Pancakes were quite good. Nice and warm, may be a little oily which is to be expected and the sauce was right on the money. Chicken with Garlic Sauce was good. More healthy than I have seen. I had the Tangerine Beef, which had that tangerine sauce on top which was really to my liking. The person described it as as fried, but I missed out that it is deep fried. But, I would call this deep fried beef quite nice, especially bcos of the sauce. Nice place to sit and talk. Made a note to try the Japanese food there next time. read more

This review is based on takeout. I was craving authentic salt and pepper fish, and this was just okay. The batter is too thick. The seasoning was spot on, but I'm not trying to eat fish and chips here. The crab rangoon was average. I guess Panda House is not a reliable authentic Chinese food; you might as well drive an extra 40 minutes to Milford or New York if authenticity matters. This is an Americanized Chinese food, disguising itself as authentic. Disappointed. Will not be back. I was hopeful I could find an authentic Chinese joint in this town, but it's a big let down. read more

We ordered some food from here because their menu has so many options...everyone was able to get something that appealed to them. The food was hot and well-prepared, but it was just okay. The portions are very generous so I ended up making a few meals out of my sesame chicken but the food was overall kind of bland. I like a little spice and flavor and both the orange chicken and sesame chicken were a little dull. Not to say I wouldn't go back, but I'd probably try something they considered really spicy to see if that had an extra little pep. read more

I've came here a few times and always had a good experience. However I was nervous goin back and seeing how low the ratings has gotten and a change of ownership. It was still very good like the times I remembered! I came here for a quick lunch with my parents and ordered a couple lunch entrees to sample together. We got the tangerine shrimp, sesame chicken, triple delight, beef chow fun and pork hunan. All the dishes came with a soup and rice for the lunch special. Everything was so delicious!! I think I rated this restaurant before but here we go: every time we are hungry, we think of Panda with love. That is why I found myself ordering the "sweetheart " sushi roll over and over. It looks like a heart, is soft like one, but is spicy!!!! I used to remove the spicy sauce on top every time. The rest of the menu is from heaven. My Hubbie loves the house special Duck, that is your tip of the day from me. I don't give them the five star because there is no red carpet coming in nor a valet , is the only reason. We ordered 2 meals, mine was Vegetarian Paradise which I requested not spicy, and hers was Mapo Tofu, spicy. Mine came out very spicy, her Mapo came out with no spice at all, in a brown, gelatinous like sauce. They offered to bring hot oil to add to the brown mapo. The food was terrible- vegetable and tofu soup was thickened with corn starch and not tasty at all. Ribs were dry and stringy. Beef and broccoli was overcooked and not good at all. This place is always great. Tangerine beef, fried wontons, dragon & phoenix, and the sushi (I was surprised how good it was) are go to options. It's usually quiet since most people do takeout and the ambience is nice. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Prices aren't too bad and you probably won't leave your plates empty. read more

Went there for the first time today (1/11/23) and got a lunch special and an order of spareribs. The chicken and broccoli lunch special was a MINUSCULE portion for $10. It was in a tiny tray that looked like it was about HALF the size of a small order. It would have tasted good if it wasn't completely oversalted. In fact, it was SO salty that it was almost inedible! There was lettuce or something floating in the wanton soup. I brought it home for my husband and he said it was the worst wonton soup he ever had. Oh, and they are also too CHEAP to give you noodles to go with the soup! The ribs were alright, but I only got 4 of them for $11!! Paid $22+ altogether for that small amount of food. Overall, I have been pleasantly surprised by most of the changes they have made to the menu. In particular the addition of more genuine/authentic Chinese dishes such as Szechuan Fish (hot & spicy and delicious but not for the faint of heart!) and Salt & Pepper Fish/Prawn. They generally tuck the newer updates way down at the bottom of the menu which is a shame!
