Don't go! Vegans beware! Not a lot of vegan choices for a Chinese place. The food was buffet style, which should already be a red flag. The food was luke warm at best. The lo main was mushy and not that tasty. The vegetable fried rice was ORANGE, weird! There were no sautéed veggies of any kind as their own dish so I had to fish them out of other dishes like beef and broccoli etc. Save yourselves from a bad experience and find somewhere else to eat. read more

Just what I needed. I had stopped at a hotel on my drive across Pennsylvania along I-80, and I wanted a quick, filling, and inexpensive lunch so I could get back on the road. The lunch buffet for only & 10.99 was a bargain! The food was tasty. The service was fast and friendly. My only criticism is that i wish there were more healthy protein options. This was my first time here on a Sunday afternoon I was up here in Clearfield visiting with my best friend and his family. Honestly when I tried the food i thought it tested good to me and the service was good the waitress my friend and I was really nice. When I got my check to pay i was charged for another Sunday buffet price. My friend had taken the check up and talked about our check and we got extra charged by accident and they took off the extra Sunday buffet cost and they handled it very well. One of the best buffet experiences I've ever had. The food was good, the selection was great, and the value was incredible. I came by this buffet by chance while driving from Scranton to Cleveland. Didn't expect much from it at first - the signage lighting was off and the dining area looked no different from any other Chinese buffet. But when I had my first bite of their broccoli beef, I could tell this place would be on a different level. The beef was tender, tasted real and not too starchy, and left your mouth feeling clean. That may not seem like a lot, but at $8.99 per person, it's incredible. Their selection was broad. They had clams, two different types of mussels, frog legs (that were made really well), steak strips, and baked salmon, in addition to all of the standard options. They also had a section where they stir fry a noodle dish for you on the spot, and that dish turned out very well - I loved the fresh wok flavor. For desserts, their cookies and cream ice cream and sugar coated fried donut both exceeded expectations. Unfortunately, they did not have my favorite Chinese dessert - marshmallows with cream sauce. Considering the location, price, bathroom quality (see pictures), I would say this buffet qualifies for Michelin's definition of a one star restaurant: "a good place to stop on your journey, indicating a very good restaurant in its category" read more

This restaurant is without a doubt my very favorite. On the lunch buffet they have the best pineapple chicken. We went there on Valentines Day for lunch not giving it a 2nd thought that they would be serving the dinner buffet all day. The one woman who always seats us said to me, no pineapple chicken today. I said, ok, but was disappointed. Well, to my complete delight about 10 minutes later there she comes with a plate of it and hands it to me. I was so impressed. So on to a couple of days ago we went for lunch, on Sundays they have the dinner buffet all day, so no pineapple chicken, lol. Guess what, I wasn't even giving the pineapple chicken a 2nd thought, and there she comes with a plate of it. This is by far the best Chinese restaurant around. I tried this place for the first time and wasn't impressed. I had the sesame chicken lunch special with vegetable fried rice. The food was hot, the price was great, and it was ready quickly and when they said it would be. BUT...the food wasn't that good. The vegetable fried rice was bland and in desperate need of salt (something I've never experienced before with Chinese food). The sesame chicken sauce was flavorful, but the chicken was chewy and grisly and just generally unappealing. read more

If you get take out, make sure that you grab condiments because they don't put ANY in the bag. This was a major turn off for me, but I'm going to give them a pass because I asked for the lo mein to be spicy and they did a great job. Not bad. We've been there twice during peak hours and the food has not disappointed. It's your standard Chinese buffet fair but the meat isn't dried out or overcooked like some places do. No mac n cheese for the kids and no weekend crab legs. It's not much to look at from the outside so I wasn't expecting much but I was surprised by the inside. Another plus both times we ate there neither me or the old man had to make a mad dash for the crapper when we got home, and we at the same things we usually eat at other buffets. read more

Food was pretty good. During my travels I've been to premium Chinese buffets that cost $40 a person, and I say that the foods here at Panda Gourmet was just as well prepared and good tasting. And dinner was $9 a person. You are not going to get crab legs, lobster tails, or raw oysters, not at $9 a person; but there was clam, salmon, mussel, shrimp, squid, frog legs, and flounder to satisfy your seafood cravings. There are plenty others: I especially liked the house special chicken, which is like sweet and sour chicken but with less sweet and more of a satisfying kick. Walnut chicken was also great, as someone else mentioned. Pepper&salt fried squid was also delicious. Other standard issue Chinese buffet items include a pork&mushroom dish, chicken broccoli, pepper steak, etc and they were all great. You can also expect your usual fried stuff for Americans, like onion rings, cheese sticks, crab rangoons, and chinese donuts. There was also a variety of fruits and dessert items. I enjoyed the hot&sour soup, which can be a miss sometimes at other Chinese buffets, but Panda Gourmet did it okay. Service was very good. Very welcoming and courteous. We drove from OH to Woodbury Outlet and stopped here for dinner on our way back. I'm hesitant to call any buffet food "amazing" or "orgasmic" but Panda Gourmet is quite alright, had friendly service, and very fair price! read more
