Yakitori was tasty, moist and fresh. Sushi was a waste. In 45 minutes it was never refilled and 4 of the dishes were empty when I arrived. Overall Nothing was hot. Lukewarm at best. The food was old on the buffet it looked like it was made in 400 B.C. my grandson had already got his plate but I told the owner I would not be eating because the food I normally eat looked old and nasty..she agreed..she did not offer to make fresh ..she did not take it off the buffet ..so I sat there watching my grandson eat his plate ..as I drank my drink that she made sure to charge me for ...I paid for my grandson and my drink (I feel decent customer service would have comp..the drink ) . Latest experience was very poor and disappointing. The temperature of the food isn't hot enough. Very minimal selection of items at the buffet. Everything is way too salty and drenched in heavy sauce. When I asked the lady if she could bring out hot pepper steak she was rude and stated just what's there instead of easily accommodating a customer with bringing out fresh hot dish. Instead, she stirs the Lo Mein and says there's lot other food. That's unacceptable. There is barely anything else It's gone downhill since was last here around six months ago. I wasn't even asked if I wanted more green tea. Truly disgusting behavior and thinking the lady is nice is false, it's just a front she puts on. The soups are salty and spicy. Horrible wontons and the only decent food are the sushi and chicken w broccoli. The dessert tastes old and the egg rolls are barely with ingredients mostly hollow. The service provided was awful a huge change. I strongly don't recommend this place to anyone. Rather go to a town further away and get great quality food vs this dump. So this place seems okay at first but then it got bad. The service isn't the problem it's the food and cleanliness. People were sneezing on the food, the food doesn't hardly get changed, the dishes are nasty, prices are outrageous, and I just don't recommend it read more

Today is Thursday July 27th, came here for dinner. We were promptly seated and told about the buffet. We questioned whether or not MSG was used, out waitress claims she never heard of msg, rather than going to find out she decided she didn't think so. Before committing we looked the buffet over and it seemed ok, steam was coming from the pans so it appeared to be hot. We decided to try it, that was a mistake!! Turns out the food was luke warm at best. The fried rice was either left overs or just not cooked right, no flavor, very bland. The Egg Drop Soup, worst I had ever tasted, no flavor and barely warm. Much the same with everything else we tasted. Eggroll very plain, not much inside. I had hot tea to drink, it was good. The mint chip ice cream was the best part of the meal. Rice was over cooked and mushy, the Noodles where all vegetables hardly no noodles, the spare ribs were literally jerky, I've never had sesame chicken taste like vinegar plus it was definitely not real chicken pieces... idk what to call that chicken but fake, $31 for food they had no place selling... my kids wouldn't even eat it and they are not picky at all when it comes to Chinese take out... I feel bad for the people in this area. Is there any good restaurants that actually want to sell good food... will never be ordering from here again. I was told it was the best in town. So that doesn't say a lot about the other choices..... why wouldn't they have cooked my food fresh. It took ten minutes for my whole order. What a joke! Me and my wife stopped here for some lunch while traveling through Pennsylvania. A solid 3-star leaning towards a 4-star. The food tasted good. The portions were plentiful and the price was right. When our food was served, we were impressed that the chef came out to check on our satisfaction. The restroom was spotless; which I always take as a good sign. I'm giving this a 3-star review based on other local restaurants. This 3-star rating doesn't hold up if you're in town from the city. Main Won is your typical small town Chinese place, PLUS TOFU. In my experience it's very hard to find vegetarian options in rural PA. But Main Won will substitute any dish's meat with tofu, but you have to ask. The buffet is so-so, but the chow mein (soft noodles here) is really good, and they've got those sugary donuts. I recommend ordering from the menu for the good food. Even though this means paying if you want ice cream, the menu is really cheap. The restaurant is family owned from what I understand and they're eager to help you and give you good service. They don't hover though; I always enjoy the feeling of privacy. read more

For the money this place is awesome....the rice was a little soggy, the generals chicken didn't have much meat on it, the soda was watered down and only 2 1/4 bars of the 3 1/2 bars had anything on it (the half bar was only half full and nothing on one of the bars entirely). I will say the place was spotless, the service was awesome and the decor was a little more than I expect that's probably why they got so high on my list. I will also give them that 7 something ($10 out the door with tip included) isn't bad at all for a lunch buffet with drink. Recently visited for the first time for the lunch buffet. It's average Chinese buffet food, but the food and the selections were good, however the food could have been a little hotter. I am a fan of Chinese Buffet Restaurants. I have had lunch and dinner at numerous Chinese places in PA and when traveling out of state. To be fair to this business, I went in for lunch at 2:45 on a Saturday afternoon. So the food was pretty much left over from the lunch crowd. However, the Sweet N Sour Soup had no flavor, it was hot, but that's about it. I like General TSO Chicken, but what they put out for the Buffet were small pieces of chicken that were mostly breading. They did not have a Chinese Vegetable dish, and in order to get some broccoli I had to pick it out of the Chicken and Broccoli tray. They had one tray of Shrimp in Butter which featured the smallest shrimp ever caught on this planet, and that's all it was, tiny shrimp cooked in butter. The only thing that was decent was the Vegetable LoMein, and of course the ice cream I had for dessert. I could give them a pass for it being between lunch and dinner, but what they had in the serving trays wasn't worth the $5.99 lunch price. I thought it sounded like a bargain when I came in but they charged me $1.25 for hot tea on top of that, which most Chinese Buffets provide free with lunch. Total was 7,70 out the door, which as about what good Chinese Buffets cost. A waste of money. This is probably the only Chinese Buffet right in Clearfield, Skip it, its terrible. read more
