Was trying to buy for my family; and a wonderful and helpful woman named Jenny in the drive-through window was so patient with our family, even helped us be a little more economical with such a kind and thoughtful heart. If you can, avoid this location at all costs! They don't know how to put all of your food into the bag, and when you call asking where your missing item is they will laugh at you! THIS Panda has declined steadily since it first opened. The take out boxes are about 65-70% the size that they originally were and the online order page is quite a bit LESS intuitive. I keep looking for the revolving door that cooks, servers and cashiers seem to run out of the business and not come back. The food is bland and there doesn't seem to be any care taken in making sure various sized side order containers are fastened shut to avoid spills and leakage so have a spoon handy to eat the spillage from the bottom of the of the bag from around the soggy sauce packets, plastic utensils and soggy napkins . They have a drive through window BUT require you to pick up your ONLINE ORDER INSIDE THE STORE defeating the entire premise of PREORDERING. My cravings for takeout Chinese existed for years at Mom and Pop restaurants BEFORE Panda came on the scene and NOW I will take the time to find one in the vicinity because I have partaken of the Walnut, California Panda for the last time. read more

To get started, I am appalled at the service at this store. Not only was my food covered in some white "flakes" from what seemed like someone's skin but the food was undercooked. I've been to this location multiple times and the only good thing about it is how fast they give you your food. That's not the only thing, I saw the male manager unnecessarily being rude to some customers right in front of me. If I could rate this panda -3 stars I would. You typical Panda Express, great and tasty "wanna-be Chinese food." A thing to keep in mind about this place, good luck with parking- It is seriously very tedious just to enter the parking lot and trying to find a spot. Although the place itself is not crowded inside, it is near McDonald's, Panera, and other shopping centers. But aside from that, whenever I come here there is no line, which is always a bonus. Sometimes, it is hard to find a table- during lunch only though. Food is always fresh and the workers let you try free samples- it's great! Not only this, but portions here are pretty large. Twice the rice and twice the noodles they'll give you at other locations. Another perk about this place is that it's always neat and clean inside! This review is for this excellent amazing location! PEDRO the manager is such a great manager and has this place running great! His staff is all excellent and well trained! He has great customer service skills and there service and smiles are infectious!!! The whole staff is awesome!! No matter how busy this place is you come in and out right away ! I will always come here !!! Great job guys!! When Pedro wasn't serving food or welcoming guests he was cleaning the outside sweeping the outside ground!!!! As a Chinese person who has grown up eating authentic Chinese food, I know I shouldn't like Panda Express this much...BUT ITS SOOOO GOOD. My favorite entree is the mushroom chicken, followed by the orange chicken, and i ALWAYS get the hot and sour soup. I have an unusual affinity for hot and sour soup and this is the perfect place to satisfy my craving. Sometimes I even make a trip to Panda Express to just get just hot and sour soup at the drive through...and then drive directly home... I can't help myself...only $1.50... Very bad experience here at this location. Got and paid for my food only to find a majority of the tables dirty and disgusting. Also lots of trash and food particles on the floor. The manager had the nerve to say that he was short staffed and if I could give him a moment before cleaning a table (of my choice) for me. After I said "just give me a rag and I'll do it myself", he decided to ask one of his workers to do it. While I say across from the other dirty tables, I watched as nobody cared to clean off any other disgusting table tops. I saw some customers look at the seating areas in disgust and sit down in one as if there were no other choice. This is at 2:15 pm BTW, after the lunch rush. Cmon Panda, you can do better than this. 4-star Panda Express. This place was redone! The food is standard Panda Express, but this location has eco-friendly trash cans and pretty big TVs. Also, the workers are Chinese, which is funny. And a big plus. For all that, the "normal" turns into "4/5 stars". My only complaint is that they don't have salt/pepper for you to grab. Unfortunate. read more

It's my first time to stop by at this location. A lady who works today at 13:20 pm ( Saturday 9/17) was very rude. She is not a good listener and she did not pay attention on what customer wants. Like all other Panda Express restaurants: quick, simple and easy. Americanize Chinese dishes - safe and predictable taste. This really is more of convenience than it is a destination for eating Chinese. Nonetheless, Panda serves it purpose when I don't feel like eating at home and don't have a craving for something specific and really don't have an appetite, but just know that I need food in my stomach. This particular Panda gets a lot of customers from the students attending Cal Poly and Mt. SAC. There's always people in here at all hours they're open. Clean and tidy overall for the restaurant. The entrees are always available and I haven't encountered a time when a specific dish was ready. Every so often, you do have to wait 5 mins or so for something say like Eggplant Tofu or the Mushroom Chicken, but at least you're getting something fresh for the wait. This Panda Express is a big hit or miss. Sometimes it's good and the employees are friendly and sometimes they are the complete opposite. Unfortunately this was one of those times. The employees came off as super lazy. It felt like they didn't want to do anything. Asked for a bigger plate with chow mein, double broccoli beef, and the beyond orange chicken. And then an order of cream cheese Rangoons on the side. What I got however, was double orange chicken (not beyond) and broccoli beef (they switched them). And then no rangoons as well. I'm giving them three stars cause I know they aren't always like this and the food is still good. Just wish they would pay more attention the order and double check before giving it to the customer. I would just double check the order whenever you come here cause there's a 50/50 chance it will be correct. But as always the food was still very enjoyable. Hope they can fix this soon read more

This location is horrible. Burned food,Missing food from our order, and extremely little portions. Being accused of being a liar over not getting our 3 egg rolls is ridiculous. Why would I waste my family dinner time to sit on the phone and complain about 3 egg rolls. What dumb-dumb Nick doesn't get us that if a customer pays for something they are entitled to receive what they paid for, if that's too hard then learn how to issues a refund.
