So when you order the up charged angus steak you get half the portion and full portion for the orange chicken. Thanks

Went to Panda Express last night for take out. Food is not up to par. Chow main noodles are different. Large chunks of cabbage and onion mixed in no care given in making this! Use to be fantastic. Portions are smaller as they were running out of food because only one cook and too many people in line. They better get more help to do it the right way! read more

The food the same but pricy. The server are not the same as before. Very unfriendly, not smiling and careless about the customer. Customer satisfaction is really bad. Hope the server change his attitude towards customers read more

Not sure if she's the manager because she was wearing al black but she needs to get her attitude checked. Aline, didn't bother to listen to customers before she was messing up orders already. read more

Love this place! Very fast service and very tasty options! The foods right infront of you when you order so i usually would just ask for whatever looked most appealing, and ive never had anything i didnt like. I would definatly reccomend this place! read more

It will do! If theres nothing around me and im doubtful abt a chinese place, i can always rely on panda express. Its americanized chinese food alright, nobodys saying its authentic chinese food, if u love it, great. If u dont, i can understand, its good on its len categeory..but its not too greasy and the flavors are not what youre used to especially if youre asian. It has a hint of taste of what youre used to. Its still in my rotation of slmething quick though if i want chinese food and this one is close by read more

Bigmane review #2: I'm a fanda of the Panda panda express is good. stop being a snob. the kung pao chicken very good and actually spicy (unlike many "real" chinese restaurants). Orange chicken should be on mount rushmore. everyone in there is very friendly and the line move quick. what a pleasant experience. 4 forks read more

Terrible food! Severely overcooked rice. Orange chicken is terrible. The portions are also really small. I don't know how this place has stayed open for so long. read more

Pulled up to restaurant last night at 8:32p and saw the workers sprinting to lock the front door before we could even step out the car. The operation hours are definitely until 9:00p so I have no clue how this is even possible. read more

The people here were incredibly polite. Seriously, they were polite to the point that it really warrants being the first thing mentioned in this review. We came a little before closing (when I would expect people to be a bit short), and our guy actually thanked us after each question that we answered for him, and was incredibly pleasant, even though he had to have noticed that the family before us in line sat down to eat in, despite the fact that they were about to close. The portions were pretty impressive, especially for the price, and the food is pre-made. So it's ready very quickly. I liked the fried rice a lot. Most places go overboard with the soy sauce. Panda Express was a bit more subtle, which I like. They did put peas in it, though. That's borderline unforgivable in my book. I wasn't very impressed with my entrées, though. I had read about the orange chicken in a number of reviews, and perhaps I just got my hopes up too high, or perhaps it had just been sitting around for too long as closing time neared, but I wasn't very impressed. It wasn't very crunchy, and the orange taste just didn't spring out the way that I would like. I had some other kind of chicken, too. It was strips of chicken in like a teriyaki sauce, or something. I think that it may have been called Mandarin chicken. The teriyaki, or whatever it was, tasted OK, but was a little overpowering. The chicken strips themselves were hit or miss. Some were very good cuts of chicken, others were a bit too fatty. I guess that is understandable at the price, though. All in all, I'll most likely return. read more

I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and it made me sick/nauseous. I dont know what was going on there but this will be my my first and last time trying this place out. read more

Love their food and the service is fast and easy. So you go in to get your food and come out in no time. Even better, their prices are very fair! They give you a lot for your money's worth, so I definitely recommend this place. I went here to get lunch after a shopping spree at a store near them, and believe me when I say that their food filled me up for hours. read more

Been to this place several times, when the food is fresh and hasn't been sitting there for an hour it's good, but the rice is always either hard (has inedible hard bits) or it smells like the rice cooker is not clean or something, or both. The lo mein is always good but I've been to other panda expresses and they never have a problem with their rice. When we complained they just say it's just how it is, so I guess it is what it is. read more

Service is horrible , I went on Friday night. It seems multiple online orders came so they kept the line standing more than 40 minutes including kids and there are 30 customer in line and staffs working very fast for online orders only. I do appreciate if you guys give same importance to the line standing very long time front of you. Please improve your plan and hold/accept orders based on your availability. Also why don't you manage mixing in person and online orders simultaneously. Also when my turn come the staff got tired of service and can't hear and understand what I am choosing. Also please try the meat dish is made from fresh because some bad taste coming from preserves meats. It's my local restaurant near my place and We family visit frequently but no more. Sorry guys. read more

So the management reached out to me and basically did nothing and it still an ongoing issue

This location is very poorly managed and run. I work within 10 minutes of their store and have ordered lunch roughly once a week there the past month or two. Each time whenever I preselect a time for pick up, they never have the food ready when I arrive. I head to the register at the time the food is supposed to be ready, only for them to just start making the order, and that's conveniently when they realize they need to prepare more of at least one of my items. I don't believe I've actually had my food in hand less than 10 minutes after the pick up time that I arranged on. As well, they rarely follow any of the instructions I type into the notes field while ordering, so I suppose I've just been wasting my time typing any of that. Despite all that, if the employees there were actually kind, or apologetic for this, I really wouldn't take to writing this review. However, the same woman at the front register every time I'm there looks at me as though I've distirbed her and bothered her when she rudely asks "What do you want?" I've brushed it off many times, I've continued to give the location chances as the food really is good, but I can't keep going with these issues persisting for as long as they have. read more

Since the pandemic, we regularly order family meals from here on a monthly rotation. The last three times we've ordered from here we have noticed that the portion sizes have been drastically smaller. I wouldn't have commented at all if it had started out this way and they maintained a consistent amount, but this is not the case. My problem is the way that the portions have been smaller but the actual Family Meal price of $45 hasn't changed or went down to reflect this reduction in the amount of food purchased. I don't think this is a fair practice. read more

I was very unsatisfied with my service today at panda express at 7pm on a sunday night the lady working named SAMANTHA made a very rude comment about my college and continued to speak loudly and very rudely about where i study in my face i don't appreciate that at all. read more

I adore Panda Express. I still remember my first time trying it in California. Soon after, this location was opening up and I was beyond ecstatic. I brought my parents and brother to this location on opening day. I remember getting a complimentary gift of a little plastic takeout box filled with fortune cookies. My favorite thing to get here is the two entree plate with fried rice, black pepper chicken, and beijing beef. Sometimes, I spoil myself with a side of the crispy shrimp. The only downside would be if you come here a bit later into the day, around 8 or so, they run out of the black pepper chicken or the crispy shrimp. And since it's near their closing time, they don't always make more for you. Other than that, I always enjoy this place and it's good for takeout as well. read more

All of sudden I found I like the food here very much out of no reason. Now it becomes the go-to place when we need something quick and fresh and under budget. Hopefully they can offer some seasonal dishes and menu can change from time to time. read more

I usually prefer local Chinese takeout restaurants, but every so often, I'm in a rush and get Panda Express. The people working at this location are pretty nice. The food is decent as long as you don't arrive near closing time. There's plenty of parking in the area since it's located in a shopping plaza. It's a quick alternative to made to order Chinese food, but it's not really as good. It's also a little pricey compared to other local takeout spots. In the end, it's better than getting McDonald's or Taco Bell, but don't expect anything spectacular. read more

I also come here often!!!!! No complaints my favorite dish is the bowl with fried rice and walnut shrimp. You must try the walnut shrimp, thank me later. Customer service is good. No complaints food is always fresh too. No complaintsnit really busy when i go and most times i just order online and go pick up from work. To me it taste healthier than other restaurants. I go here a lot so i definitely recommend it read more

I love Panda Express. I used to order the orange chicken as a child all the time! Now I love the option of the bowl. You choose one side and one entree with the bowl. It is just the right amount of food for an affordable price. My favorite is the chicken and mushroom or the beef and broccoli with the steamed vegetables. The vegetables are extra crunchy. Panda express also offers the calorie information on all the items, which I find great. The food is always fresh and always delicious! read more

The place is well run. Veggies cut daily but its americanized chinese food. I like the fact they try to be healthy but i notice 80 percent of choices involve chicken. I also notice no spoons or chopsticks? read more

Panda Express - 2 entrees with brown rice. Beef with broccoili and spicy chicken veggies - Chinese Near Me - South Plainfield, New Jersey

Last week I decided to go to panda, I got the orange chicken with chow mein and cream cheese rangoons. Let me tell you this food tasted good, but did not sit well in my body. I had the shits like no other. Don't come here unless your body can handle it! Something in that food made me feel so bad. read more

Service was horrible very rude food was cold and stale first and last time here. I highly recommend not coming here to eat at this location

We have been going to this Panda for the last 2 years and the food continues to be tasty. However recently we noticed that they have been more skimpy with portion size. They only fill the boxes to be about 3/4th full. There are definitely more fillers like onions. Who wants half of their entree to be onions and celery?! I understand that the pandemic may have something to do with food prices but this is ridiculous. I much rather have a price increase than simply less food. We feel like we have gotten conned. read more

It is a fast food chain that delivers pretty consistent food quality. Of course you cannot expect authentic Chinese food here. They make small portion, so that food is kept hot and relatively fresh. It is one of the better panda express out there. read more

This was a great place to go to, but now they don't know how to treat to treat people or know how to handle issues that goes wrong. I ordered ONE MEAL for $7.80 and was overcharged three times. A cashier name Daisy who rung up my order told me that there wasn't a manager that was available and gave me a 800 number that was for technical support, and another co worker gave me the correct number. I called the manager the next day to told him the issue. Instead of being professional, he chose to cut me off and be rude and nasty towards me. When I called the 800 customer care number, I filed a dispute and complaint against their so called manager. There are over 100 Chinese restaurants in the area that I could have gone to. Do not go to the Panda Express in South Plainfield or you will only get piss poor customer service. read more

I was going there 4-5 times per week once they reopened because I enjoyed their food. However, on my last 2 visits, they refused to make white rice with an hour and a half left before closing. I don't even understand why it wouldn't already be made. Can you imagine going to McDonalds an hour and a half before closing and they refuse to make fries?! That is an awful managerial decision and they have lost my business forever, which is a shame since I am so close and they were my go to place. read more

Like already posted they've done away with the Lipton Peach Tea. Very sad to see they no longer carry it. As a diabetic I must watch everything I eat and drink. Although the food is five star, dropped drink drops a star from me. read more

Panda Express - Very fresh - Chinese Near Me - South Plainfield, New Jersey

Fast food chinese food, what else can i say. The food is good and the workers are nice. Plain and simple.

Not the best one I've been to, but a great chain. I have had much better experiences and service at different locations. The staff seemed like they were just waiting to leave. Great food if you catch it fresh. I'd give four stars easy because I love panda so much, but this specific restaurant dropped the ball. read more

My family and I eat a lot of Chinese food and we have also tried almost every Chinese restaurant in the edison-Piscataway-South Plainfield & Metuchen area. Stopped by here today for a quick bite after an afternoon of shopping. Very disappointed! Lack luster and tasteless. The hot & sour soup was like dishwater with mushrooms. Fried rice I couldn't even finish eating. Beef and broccoli was more like broccoli with a tablespoon of beef in brown sauce. Walnut shrimp breeding was funny and laid like cement in my stomach. Very disappointed and Panda Express should be ashamed to serve this level of food. Staff was the shining star of this meal. read more

This is my go to place for Chinese food when I don't want to wait. They're always making fresh food and there is plenty of variety to choose from. My personal favorites are the Kung Pao Chicken, String bean chicken, and the Honey Walnut Shrimp!! I prefer the chow mein over rice but you get half and half to try it out. They also have appetizers like egg rolls, hot soup, crab rangoons, and more. Plenty of vegetarian options too, including the eggplant tofu. read more

I get diarrhea from their food. Also, the servers talk badly about customers under their breaths. Really disgusting. I am not going there anymore. This is not good customer service. read more

Wow the food here is really just not good. Fried rice was bland and had peas and carrots in it. Yuk! Black pepper chicken was mostly veggies with little pieces of chicken in greasy sauce, and worst of all the breaded sweet fire chicken which was mostly breading. My tastebuds and my stomach are both angry with me for wasting eight bucks on this garbage. Two stars for cleanliness and service. read more
