Ordered the Discovery Luxe Box today and very disappointed in the crispy chicken burrito. It had no chicken just crispy crunch stuff left overs of the skin. Now, I don't usually leave reviews about mainstream fast food spots because they come a dime a dozen. But, the experience I had at this Taco Bell location is certainly worth noting. So I placed a mobile order for pick up in the drive thru because I was passing through the area and Taco Bell app was offering me a free slushy drink for my birthday... I figured why not take advantage of that! Plus I tacked on a black bean chalupa for the road. Upon arrival, I was supposed to check-in on the app upon as a signal for the restaurant to start prepping my order. However, I could NOT get the darn thing to work; it must have been a glitch in the matrix - LOL. Anywho...I waited for what felt like an eternity in the drive-thru and there were just a few cars ahead of me. By the time I reached the speaker I had been waiting for 10 minutes. I was little miffed by that, but I calmly announced my name to the attendant and he told me to pull right up. Guess the mobile order glitch didn't interfere with the restaurant's visibility to my order details. It took a couple more minutes before I finally reached the pick up window.... Received my free slushy... Waited another couple minutes... then received my bag. I looked inside and much to my surprise I had, not one, but TWO black bean chalupas!! I looked up at the manager, gave him a thumbs up, and then we gave each other a final head nod before I pulled off. That was his way of giving me a little extra for my troubles, I presume. I went to the drive thru to get something quick to eat for lunch. The staff was friendly but they forgot my mild sauce. The service here is pretty fast and was convenient for me. Fiesta Potato: This was delicious but seemed a bit hard as if it has been sitting there for a while. Watermelon Candy Freeze Slush: This has the watermelon taste and was very refreshing to me. The candy that looks like a seed was not even chewable and was not appetizing at all. Cool Ranch Doritos Taco: This is my favorite thing to eat from Taco Bell. It has that cool ranch taste to it and is very delicious. Overall: This restaurant is not so bad for something quick to eat. They just need to pay more attention and make sure the customers receive everything. I will not be getting that watermelon slush with the candy any more since it was not edible to me. read more

I have been eating at this Taco Bell almost my entire life. I have eaten here through E. Coli breakouts, renovations, tearing down the whole building, after my high school soccer/basketball games, after high school events, late night college study sessions, post exam celebrations, post wedding 4th meals, etc etc. you name it! Of course you always have to try out their specialty, limited time items. Hello nacho Fries! But do we all remember the chicken, bacon, ranch flatbread for $1?! That got me through some tough times! Please bring that back. The bargain options... from the cheesy roll up, an absolute classic! To the spicy potato soft taco. I know, it sounds lame... but that jalapeño sauce just brings everything together in that warm delicious tortilla. I even had a friend go as far as to say, "their nachos are so good they should rename to Nacho Bell". Shoutout DJ Patty Swift. They are rude, slow, and love to gossip about and stare at the customers in the dining room. This is coming from personal experience. They recently renovated the place to look nicer and it definitely looks nicer. Food takes a really long time to come out, especially if you're sitting in so even if the drive thru looks really long, go through the drive thru Food is okay, but I always go for the quesarito. Manager is a bit rude. An individual in our group can't eat beef so she ordered the chicken option. Consistently awful service. 9 times out of 10 I'm missing something from my order or something in the order is wrong. They always have the doors locked to the inside no matter the time with a 10+ car line outside. Ordered for in restaurant pickup today because I was in a rush- got there, doors were locked and all the workers ignored me and multiple other people trying to get in. I've been sitting in line for 30 minutes now and still have 5 cars in front of me, but I don't want to leave without getting my 50 dollar order (that I'm sure will be cold) for my staff because I'm sure I won't get my money back. I stopped by today (saturday, 3/26/22) like 2 weeks ago (Saturday) to take care of my Taco Bell break fast craving, guess what waiting in drive thru 5 mins shouting at intercom,,,no answer,,,then parked and looked inside the store window,,,lights are off and only see few workers moving boxes in the kitchen. This is by far the worst Taco Bell that I've been to. Upon the first out of two visits tonight, I specifically ordered the Cheesy Gordita Crunch #10, along with two Doritos locos tacos. I only received the latter half of this order and went back to remediate the situation. Instead of going through the drive-thru, I went inside to fix the order. I had no receipt because the DT attendant did not provide one, and on top of that, the staff was incredibly rude. Again, I specifically asked for the Cheesy Gordita Crunch #10, and received a wrap. This is obviously not what I ordered so I brought it to the staff's attention again, and instead of giving me the correct order or refunding me my money, I received an UNWRAPPED soft taco thrown in the bag along with (1) Cheesy Gordita. #10 is supposed to come with (1) Cheesy Gordita taco, along with two hard shelled tacos. On top of that, upon the first bite, the Gordita taco tasted stale and had no crunch whatsoever. I will never return to this establishment and will take my business elsewhere. I thought about it until I realized that my whole order was wrong. Which was no big deal. I kindly explained that my order was wrong she said okay. Then someone from the kitchen came out to ask me what exactly it was that I wanted. (beef burrito with no cheese, and a regular taco) the whole situation was just weird. Honestly this Taco Bell is "eh" because they have messed up my order multiple times and I would have to drive back to get it re-made. Service is sometimes slow and sometimes it's fast. The other bad thing I've experienced here is that they closed the lobby inside the store early by 15 min on a Saturday night at 10:45 pm when the sticker / online says they close the lobby at 11pm. Food is served on the tray without a tray paper and any food coming in direct contact with the tray has to be discarded, which I had to. The quality of tacobell compared to that of other bells is sub par. The restaurant is busy which seems like a good thing until youre waiting 20 mins for your crunch wrap supreme. The toasted cheddar cheese chalupa is lacking in the umami department. Very one dimensional flavors. It is lacking brightness which should be brought by the tomato's which are un-flavorful. Used the drive through Monday night 3/21. The employee mumbled the entire time while placing the order. Could hardly make out what the employee was saying. Once we got to the window, the employee appeared to be annoyed for being there. I said hello, nothing back, then when she gave me the meal, I said thank you and nothing. Good customer service goes a long way, it even makes the eating experience much better EVEN IF THE FOOD SUCKS. Anyway, once we got home, 5 min away, we noticed that the food was cold, the chips stale, and just utterly disgusting. I've never had such a horribly prepared simple meal. It is a shame. Please consider rebiewing your night staff operation because if this continues your franchise will tank. I think the employees need to be rotated, or dismissed. Comparing this Taco Bell'a night staff to the staff at the Rt 22 Green Brook area location, the Rt 22 location takes the win. The food was just gross, I blame this on the employees on this evening.
