Granddaughter ordered online around noon for a 6:15 PM pick up. Order was $65 plus. When I got there at 6 I was told they were out of Green beans and Chicken, what did I want instead? I was not offered a refund. I said chicken and broccoli, not knowing Granddaughter had order beef and broccoli. I had to wait past the 6:15 pick up. I was offered a soda, but not something I could drink. When I got home, the broccoli was terrible. There was no sauce in the chicken and broccoli and not much beef in the broccoli beef. The broccoli tasted old and there was way too much broccoli. We have ordered before and it was excellent, but not this time. Hope it is an exception and not the new norm. I think Kevin was counting the pieces of meat and broccoli she put on the plates; if so, what's the number? I'd like to verify to make sure I'm at least getting what I'm supposed to. The portions are getting smaller and smaller, I used to get the plate with chow mein and two items, I have lately been getting the one with three items instead so I know I'll be satisfied. This visit in particular was very upsetting, even the 3 item plate was not enough. I was a once-a-week regular, I am now down to once-every-two-weeks, unless they improve on their portions and temperatures, my frequency is going to become less and less. I never thought I'd see the day. Even their tofu dishes were cooked in chicken stock historically. As of 9/7/22 they have three vegan options! Vegetarians and other healthy, plant-based, eaters can order their new Beyond Orange Chicken dish. You can get a "plate" that includes above faux chicken dish AND Eggplant Tofu (newly made vegan). Ordered delivery from THEIR website... I ordered a la cart items... a large size of teriyaki chicken came with NO sauce on it or on the side. And worse it smelled very bad. My entire hallway of my building smelled bad after doordash left the bag in front of my door. That was a very bad sign. It had parts on the chicken slices that were grey! Trying to get a refund was hell. The number on the receipt got me to doordash but I did not order from them. I tried to call the location itself two times and it just rang and rang. this was 9 pm at night. So doubt they were busy. The a la carte orange chicken was tiny and about the size of what you get on a plate so not worth the price. I got a large size chow mein and that was fine and normal. It took an hour at least of phone calls to get the refund processed and not till the next day did I get an email saying they refunded finally.
