We went here around 2 pm on a Sunday and it was empty. The woman who greeted us was very friendly. My daughter ordered a carnitas burrito and I didn't have to ask her if she liked it. It disappeared pretty quickly. I ordered two tacos ala carte: grilled chicken and al pastor. They were both decent portions and very tasty. My tacos were a bit too spicy for me. I'm not sure if they have a less spicy salsa or not. The food took a long time to come out. That was surprising since we were the only ones there. The prices were decent. The food was good. Great Mexican food! The chile verde was delicious tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Definitely a place I'd come back to. The owner was really nice and down to earth and really took the time to talk to me and my friend I had a good time definitely will come back. I forgot to take pics but still needed to post a review for this business. The place is very spacious and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Food was hot and fresh and everything we got was large portions. The only complaint I have is that some things were over priced. I paid $5 for a side of avocado, which was about a 1/4 piece. I do understand this is a small family owned establishment, but maybe just overlook some of the pricing. Overall a good place for breakfast/brunch. read more

Almost no meat... this is a $21 bean and rice burrito. The guacamole was sparse. I didn't know it was there until 3/4 of the way down the burrito luckily it wasn't in the whole burrito because it was very good. It's hard for a new restaurant to show all of its specialness in the first couple months it's been open. I found this restaurant we're looking for a breakfast place and was really impressed with their breakfast menu and standard American Fair menu. We came in to town to take my mom out for lunch, we found this charming little spot. Lovely. Chile verde was tender not dry, very nicely balanced. Asada and grilled chicken tacos were perfectly grilled and seasoned, portion of meat per taco was very generous. Beans were wonderful, obviously cooked from scratch. Tried Senor Chiliquiles on 41st just behind Cafe Cruz. It was maybe 11am-ish and there were few other patrons. The place was clean and spacious. The waitress greeted and seated us in a comfy booth. I think the menu items offered covered a good variety. The California Benedict came with bacon vs ham and with avocado. It was delicious. The hashbrowns were good as well. The Senor Chiliquiles burrito was a decent size and since I'd fasted for a day I sure as heck ate it all. I also ordered chocolate coco. It was so good I coulda drank a pot of that vs coffee. Well here we go. I couldn't wait to go to this spot because I love Chilaquiles and I was recommended to go by this place called Evarista's Comal Restaurant. The difference between the two is from the time u walk in the door at Evarista's u get a lot better customer service. As soon as i walk in which was 8:35 to pick my order up that I made at 8:18am she told me she had a bunch of door dash orders that came in so I can either wait in the lobby or come back. I told her I would come back and I went to sit in my car. I came back at 8:50 and she had my food ready. I drove home and was super excited to eat and no eggs were in the plate as u can see. I called back to inform her but she apologized. Service was not what I was hoping for!!!! Let's talk about the food now. The salsa I can tell was not made out of a can because it was really good. The beans and rice were really good also. The place is behind a building so here's my advice for you. The place looks great. Maybe get someone up front with some amazing customer service and if your going to tell me the food going to be ready in 15 minutes and then tell me when I get there instead of being more welcoming that you got a lot of door dash people to take care of first! At least try and get my order correct. By the time I made eggs at home my food was soggy . I'm a really nice person though so i have to say the food has potential. read more

The best chilaquiles I've ever had!! It's one of my favorite dishes and I try to order it whenever it's on a menu, but this place has everywhere beat. The portions were generous, eggs cooked perfectly the salsa was delicious and you could tell the chips were freshly fried in it. So good I'm definitely going back.
