I really enjoy the food at Panda Express but am ALWAYS disappointed with the serving portions. It's the only thing that keeps me from visiting. The serving portions make me think there is some cheap, greedy tightwad behind this business. I will give my business to the independently owned Chinese restaurants that give me my money's worth. Here is my portion. Where's the beef and broccoli? read more

Panda Express - Beef Broccoli - Fast Food Near Me - Redlands, California

Let me start off by saying only 5 people are allowed in the restaurant at a time. You CAN'T use their patio to eat on but APPLEBEE'S across the street can serve people outside. WENDY'S on the other corner you can't go inside but you can eat outside. What's the problem here read more

Their sign and online says open at 9:30 am so we arrived 10 min early and waited til 9:30 to walk in and the lady had attitude and was telling us she just got there so they won't open til 10 am and she even slammed the door to go check with another employee and he told her 9:30 but she told him she didn't have anything ready so she said they won't open til 10. We couldn't wait cause we had to head to work. She shouldn't arrive when it opens to prepare. read more

Man where do I start. Panda use to be really good and the portions for the money use to be worth it BUT NOW... Ugg this particular Panda Sucks the Big one... they had a photo of orange chicken on the menu and the stuff that had is the tray looked nothing like the photo...NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTO AHHHH... you can kinda tell if food has been sitting under a heat lamp for a while but that wasn't the problem either the cook had no idea what he/she was doing or the burned it luckily I didn't try it cuz it looked sickening. I mean come on man noodle and rice cost next to nothing and they give you a portion that would make you highly upset when you spend $11 bucks on a plate and the Mongolian beef or whatever it's called looks like Mongolian MUSH. The chicken egg rolls looked like the were fried two days ago and the dipped them one more time in hot grease and threw them under a heat lamp horrible looking. Eye appeal means some thing folks! Damn! read more

I have not been to panda express in a while and thought I would try again. I distinctly remember I had kept away for some reason. I was reminded why today. I would equate the bowls to a bad sushi restaurant. The ratio my entree to rice is about 1 part orange chicken and 9 parts rice. So if your looking to pay for a bowl of rice this is definitely your place. I would steer clear and look for an alternative so as to not be disappointed. read more

It's not even 5pm... why are the doors locked??? Also I called ahead to verify there way Apple Pay. I was told there is but ONLY INSIDE. So when I arrived at 4:50pm the door was unlocked I went inside and was told that I needed an online order. I placed the order went back and the door it locked. This is ridiculous. No wonder this location is a 2 star location. Not to mention that after all of this the food was garbage. This Panda is a waste of time and money. read more

This place is trash. My family and I were craving Chinese and decided to give this place a try after many months. My dad got a two entree plate of half chow mein and half fried rice with beef broccoli and teriyaki chicken. He had ONE piece of beef and like 5 noodles of chow mein. The servings were ridiculous and the food had no paste. The teriyaki chicken was burnt and the broccoli was overcooked. Since they are only open for drive thru, we could not see the food. My dad arrived to the house to see his poorly served plate and went right back. The lady who helped him told him that she could give him two plates to compensate, but that all the food was going to be the same. My dad told her he wanted a refund for his plate and she said she could issue the refund, but could not return the receipt; my dad then told her he wanted his full refund if she was going to keep his receipt or she needed to provide his receipt and his partial refund. The lady did not want to return the receipt because she did not want my dad to complete the survey that is attached. My dad got his partial refund and we will not be returning to this place as the food is just poorly made now. read more

Called to place a takeout order tonight about 20 minutes ago and told by Josh that the dinner rush was starting and refused to help me unless it was a catering order. I was told I HAVE to order through the app or online if I want to do regular takeout from this location and the call ended with"yeah that's how your supposed to order". Customer service terribly lacking and such a turn away to customers just wanting to order 2 bowls! Ridiculous. read more

Talk about Rude yesterday I went to panda during Lunch and the girl taking my order was extremely rude! If my receipt is right her name is " Susana" . It's been a couple of times where I go including yesterday where they tell me your looking at a 10-15 minute wait and I go to the windows and they have the dish that they are "supposedly" out of ! read more

As I come on here to leave a review I can definitely understand why their rating is so low. Went through the drive thru to order a meal. However they gave me the wrong order... I called to get this fixed the manager only offered me what was made wrong even though their mistake ruined my whole meal. So now I wasted my gas and money going to this establishment. Only to be offered a small side to waste my gas and go back to get my ordered fixed. If I were that manager I would have offered my whole meal to be re made due to their mistake. read more

Very disappointed. My favorite item, sesame chicken use to be seasonal and finally made it to the year round menu. But now it has been discontinued. Not even offered seasonally. I will not be back. read more

This last Sunday, 5 June, right at noon, I pulled into drive through to place an order for four. The person wouldn't let me finish speaking before interrupting to ask "is that it" multiple times. Then another woman takes over taking our order rushing me even more, again, asking "is that it/all?", multiple times. Finally pulled up to the window and said I needed to add a bottle of water. Her reply was, "No, we cannot add to the order once at the window. That's why we ask whether you are done ordering." "If you want to add something you must drive around and re-enter the drive through." ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! I told her no and she asked if I wanted my order or not. She was so rude. Unbelievable. The WORST costumer service I've seen in a long time. If I was the owner, I'd fire that manager so fast it'd make your head spin. I sure hope management reads these! read more

I don't go here often but there are times when I'm just hard core craving fried rice and orange chicken! This place is pretty new and it's sooo close which receives 3 stars for the convience and the food isn't all that bad for "Chinese" fast food. Plus is has a drive thru! read more

Woow! A Panda with a Drive Thru! Talk about Chinese Fast Food with a Drive Thru, that's like Lance Armstrong on crack! You usually get the same taste with Panda Express but to have a Drive Thru is a 5 STAR for me. It was H-O-T when I visited Redlands and I was in a hurry for a 1PM appointment with my client, as soon as I exited California Street the Panda Express was at the corner and again with a Drive Thru. Talk about coincident, when I wanted Chinese Food fast with out getting out of my car. So when you're in HOTLAND,craving for a Chinese Food, don't want to get out of your car (lazy), and want it fast, just Drive Thru Panda Express! read more

Went there yesterday after (4/16/22) seeing a show close by with 11 people. We were all on foot. We were told that we couldn't enter the restaurant to dine, which were okay with. They have a nice patio. We then asked if we could enter the restaurant to place our orders. We were told we could walk through the Drive Thru or order online. The server who relayed the message was very apologetic and kind in tone. However, the manager's directions and manner in handling the situation was curt, and not customer friendly. We crossed the street and went to the Wok Eperience. They were very accommodating and happy to receive our business. read more

Honestly, haven't stepped foot into Panda Express since high school which has been 7+ years ago and it was in a mall. I had ordered a plate with two sides: half veggies/half chow mein, orange chicken, and honey walnut shrimp. The food was good considering its like the most generic Chinese food. My total was $9.97 which I thought was okay, but kind of pricey. Customer service was very quick and during lunch time attentive and had good vibes. Would I step into a Panda Express any time soon? Probably not, but it was a good. read more

So I showed up at 11:33am. A customer would think that since it's the peak hour for lunch, the food would be freshly cooked, wrong! The rice was under-cooked and the orange chicken was stale as if it was a left-over from yesterday! And no, I didnt consume the rest of my panda bowl. I thought I've tasted the worst panda express food, until today. The same panda express location actually trumps itself for the worst food in panda express locations. This place is just getting worst by the month. The last time I was there, their fried-rice smelled like they've reused the oil from frying another item a week ago. The smell was horrible. I told myself a month ago, I would never go back to this place. And this time, I really won't. Panda Express in La Canada Flintridge = FTW! The drive-thru feature wont even make me give it a two star rating. I'd rather go to Thai House Restaurant a block away. read more

This panda express is awesome and they have a drive-through. Everything I have ordered here has been fresh and tasty

Tastes good, but your portions are so small. Plates are seem smaller and they only use one small scoop... Guess they are trying to maximize their profit margin and take away from the average person. Either give a normal meal portion or raise your price. I mean it's tough when even with these portions it costs you $8.50 for a standard 2 entree plate. Please add more chicken to your Kung pow chicken, we do not order it to get vegetables. read more

So I ordered a medium honey walnut shrimp and paid 10.20 and received the same portion as the meal that we paid 9.55. I'm pretty sure we got a small portion instead of medium and I'm extremely disappointed and blame myself for going there in the first place. Wok experience across the street is way better. read more

This place has such a high turnover rate that nobody knows what their doing. The guy serving the food was so nervous and scared, he was extremely SLOOOOOOWWW!!!!!! The kid also was only putting half portions as a portion size!!! Basically half a spoon is all he was putting on the plates. It's like he was instructed to do so or just that scared not to give more than he should that he wasn't coming close to the full portions. Really bad service 3/24/2019 Just stopped in to get some food, stood in line for about 5 minutes waiting and watching! AGAIN!!!!! These fucking idiots are giving not even half portions to everybody in front of me!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK CORPORATE!!!!!! WHO THE FUCK IS RUNNING THIS FUCKING STORE!!!!!! Monday I will be reporting this to the local BBB and to the chamber of commerce!! It will be reported as fraudulent activity!!!!! Customers are not getting what they are paying for and this is BULLSHIT!!!!! Every fucking time!!!! read more

Look, it's Panda Express. You know what to expect from the food. It's greasy, unpretentious American-Chinese fast food and it's delicious. This location has 2 major problems: (1) They NEVER have the hot and sour soup that you can usually get at any Panda Express. In fact, they simply do not serve soup at all anymore! Boo! (2) I've been through the drive-thru twice and BOTH times they failed to give me everything that I ordered (and paid for). The first time they forgot an entire entree. I was too tired to come back so I just let it go.The second time they forgot my sauce for the Mandarin chicken, so I went back and complained. I told them that this was the second instance and that I was never coming through the drive-thru again, and they did nothing but give me the sauce. So just don't come here looking for soup and don't use the drive-thru. read more

Drive thru only open. Ordered a pick up order. The employees refused to come to the door. My vehicle would not fit in the drive thru.... And i had two kids with me. I never got my order. And they never even acknowledged what i was trying to tell them about my vehicle not making their clearance. They just kept telling me to go through the drive thru. Never got my food. Had to call corporate to get a refund. read more

This is totally OK for a Panda Express. We got what we wanted, it was hot and the staff were helpful. I didn't give it 5 stars because I could not give any Panda Express 5 stars but you know, it was as good as you can get for a Panda Express. read more

Just tried this place again. Why? No clue. Nothing has changed since the last time I got home after waiting an extra 10 minutes to get Beijing Beef. Why is this ever on the menu? The last three time I went here they didn't even have any ready. Had to drive all the way back to get the correct order even after having extra time to get it right. For my trouble, an egg roll or drink? Hell no. They wouldn't even sell me a drink. They told me I had to go thru the drive thru again. What are you high? You screw my order and you don't even have the decency to let me buy a soda inside the store after all this crap? Covid has made everyone stupid. Now, I thought I would try again today. Big mistake. Waited in drive line for six cars long. Ordered and low and behold, no Beijing Beef ready as usual. The wait? 10 minutes. The reason why there is drive up is to be fast. No time to wait so wife says screw them let's go. Next time I will listen There ain't gonna be a next time at this dump. I ordered another item since they weren't prepared to offer what us on their drive up menu again. Must be a ploy to get you to order something else you don't want. Ok, I ordered the Angus Beef. Now I was informed that I got to paid more because it is a premium item. What? You aren't prepared and I get penalized by having to pay more for something on the menu that you're management doesn't have the foresight to have ready? Oh joy. Paid it anyway knowing this will be the last time I ever go to any Panda Express. Oh, and the Angus Beef taste lIke sh*t too. Done this this place. The next time I feel like Chinese food you can bet it won't ever be a Panda anything. I will pay to go to the real Panda Inn or someplace like Rue's just down the street. And to think we have to cover the $15 per hour these losers are going to have to pay workers. Do not waste your time here. There are better choices and you might even get what you order. read more

What a disappointment! I picked up dinner on a Friday night 5pm. Most of the food looked like left overs from the lunch crowd. I saw the employees dumping the old food on top of the fresher ones as they were being cooked at the time. The only thing that looked maybe fresh was the chow mein. So I left with some chicken & beef dishes & the chow mein. OMG the noodles were so tasteless & stale that I actually threw them away. The chicken & beef were so below average. In fact every dish kinda just tasted the same no matter what they named it. The quality of food at this location is so bad. read more

I ordered orange chicken and the fried rice and I barely got any orange chicken in the bowl

If I'm paying 10 bucks for a plate, then I expect a plate. I'm not paying for a bowl to get half assed filled plates just to get cars through that's just a joke. First of all cashier's need to get trainning on how to give good customer service, they always help you like they are in a bad mood (most of them). Second of all on my last visit I made my order through the drive thru and when I got to the window I kindly asked if they could add a large drink and the cashier with a nasty attitude answer no I can't add anything at the window. I would understand if they had a long line of cars or they were busy but there was not a single car in the drive thru or were any customers inside the restaurant. So I don't understand why act dumb when it would've taken her 20 seconds to add or charged me the drink. read more

This place is normally hit or miss (literally depends who works the drive-thru) but tonight blew my mind. Haldo is so kind and knows what customer service is. He went above and beyond and it was literally just a drive thru experience. We never had to repeat our order, everything was correct, and the wait time didn't seem long because we had someone who seemed like they cared about making our experience good. He said "I'll see you guys next time!" and it was the first time I replied "I HOPE SO!!!" :) He definitely deserves an atta-boy. read more

Pretty good place I have no complains at all here. This place is super clean and they are super fast and on there customer service. They greet you in your way into business and on your way out. The restrooms are really clean and kept up to date. The tables are clean and they are always stocked on everything. They stock up before you even have to ask to stock up. Meaning they dont let it get to point where customers have to tell them there is no napkins or forks or anything. read more
