We eat in-n-out at least 1x a month and been to a lot of locations but never have we looked at each other and said what's wrong with this burger?! It was dry, tasteless and missing basic ingredients like the spread and onions. Please pay attention to your order before you eat it! I got friendly fast service despite it being busy. I had no problems with my food and the staff did an excellent job keeping things clean despite there being many people there. I enjoy eating outside in this location as you can get a nice breeze in the back. People are pretty harsh on this location for some reason but maybe it's because there's not plentiful parking. Never want to do this to one of our own but... something is not right. The spot is ok as far as friendly faces but the quality is lacking. Where do I begin ......... It was a Saturday afternoon and we wanted a snack, and so it was In N Out Burger. As odd as it was, there wasn't a car line at the order window, check out my pic of the EV chargers and you won't see a car around! The staff here is a notch above ..... high energy and eager to get your order right. I was there for an "off" menu item, a type of not so secret fries - which took a bit of discussing, but we got it done. The restaurant was clean. This is also kudos to the staff due to the high volume of diners. We came for a snack. The worse kept secret in the restaurant world, is their "secret" menu. So check out the web sites and pics for your options. We came for the Well Done Fries, served Animal Style. So as you can see in my pic, the fries were very crispy, but not over cooked - that's the well done way. Even though they are on the thinner side, the insides were still soft and chewy. The Animal Style means you get a mess of diced grilled onions on top and that, in turn, is topped with their own spread (unchanged since 1948). The grilled onions were pretty good: not too greasy, a bit of onion flavor and moist. Their spread was very creamy (I'm guessing mayo based), rich and similar to a Russian dressing. My meal cards did come in as promised and they gave me 4 so that's a plus. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long in line and have my order messed up and missing before work, granted I had no time to go back and get it fixed or a refund. New in Redlands, you have to come try it out if you're in town! I came through drive through and the workers are super nice and helpful. You can tell they have great communication and camaraderie. I like that they tell you where to go; which car to go behind once you place your order. I hope they continue this organization because so many places are missing that piece in drive through. They also have another person reviewing your order and total to be sure before you pay which I thought was a nice touch. I ordered a #3 combo with animal style fries, grilled onions on the burger, and a Neapolitan shake = $12.29 The food itself is delicious! Great location and ambiance. In-n-out is the gold standard of "fast" food. The staff is always professional and friendly, the food always tastes great, and there's tons of options to customize your order. I usually get medium well fries and I recently learned that you can wrap the Flying Dutchman in whole grilled onions! Burgers and fries. How can you go wrong. This is a great place for an In-N-Out, the only problem is that there really isn't enough parking. When you go on a Sunday at about 12:30, this place is full. The person helping me was pretty friendly, and took my order. I did forget to add whole grill to my burgers, and it seemed like she walked away to tell the cook, however, when I got my burgers, there was no whole grill on them. Like I said, the restaurant was packed, no place for parking, and all the tables were taken as well. Luckily my kids are small enough to fit in a single seat, together. We're so excited that there now is a In N Out nearby. We went later in the evening and happy to find out that even though this location just opened today, they will serve anyone who is still in line after 1 am. There was a ridiculous long line with traffic personnel making each car line up in order but we didn't mind waiting to order our favorite items. You could see the excitement with all the customers and employees so busily working with a friendly smile. We ordered the animal style fries, hamburger and a cheeseburger animal style. Visited on Sunday evening 02/22, it was very busy and slow in the drive-thru. At one point, when I was one car away from placing my order, one of the worker's taking orders outside was replaced by another worker, which added to the wait time. Things got a little confusing after I finally placed my order, there was honking going on ahead of the line so one of the worker's had to go and figure out what was going on, again causing more wait time. Once the worker came back, he has to go over the orders that have already been taken and direct us again on how we are supposed to merge. Once I got to the window, the cashier confirmed my order with a smile (which was right). Total time was about 35 minutes. I pulled up to this location tonight (Saturday) because it was the closest one even though I know in the past the line takes a while. When I get to the splitting into two lanes part there is no shorter line for me to get into so I just stay to the left. After about 5 minutes & moving up some I'm on my phone when I look up for a second to see an employee taking the order for the car that was previously in front of me before we split into two lanes. I look up to see him motioning for someone to move to the right (he did this while in the middle of taking an order), I didn't think he was motioning to me so I moved up slightly to fill the space between me & the car in front of me. The employee reacts as if slightly annoyed or that someone did something wrong. I then realized he was motioning to me! I'm not sure what for as we had already been in our established lines. He was not visible to me when he got to merging into two lanes, so again, we were well into our lanes by now. Had I tried to move I would have been blocking both lanes & possibly hit one of the signs right next to my car. It just made no sense for me to move at this point. I assume there was an empty space next to me even though there was a long line behind me because he was motioning for me to move over & so the next car didn't pull forward. It was just so bizarre. If for some reason unbeknownst to me that I needed to be in the right lane I really don't think it would have mattered. I didn't mind waiting an extra 2 minutes or to have someone who was behind me end up in front of me because I was expecting a long wait anyway & my order hadn't been taken yet. When he gets to me the first thing he says to me was that I looked scared. I said "no I'm not scared?" & he doubled down & said "yeah you look stressed." I was so caught off guard & uncomfortable from these comments. When I said "no I'm not stressed" he said "oh I guess I'm just reading you wrong" um how about don't read me at all & just take my order? It was so weird & condescending & the rest of the interaction felt so awkward. I'm not sure what this employee's intention was, maybe to make me feel stupid for not following his dumb directions even though he never got my attention in the first place or to get a reaction from me but it really turns me off from ever coming back here. I told the person at the payment window about it & she immediately asked me if his name was Brendan. I told her I didn't know but because she mentioned it with zero hesitation it leads me to believe that was probably his name. read more

As die-hard In-N-Out fans, my family and I were super excited when a new location opened closer to us. Unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing, to say the least. The staff here are consistently slow, which really drags down the overall experience. It's not just the wait time that's frustrating, but the quality of the food too. My burger bun is almost always hard and burnt, which is definitely not the norm at other In-N-Out locations like Highland, Yucaipa and San Bernardino. The taste just doesn't hit the same, and I've left feeling unsatisfied every time. I really wanted to love this spot, but it just doesn't compare to the quality and service we're used to from In-N-Out. Hoping the management can take a closer look and address these issues--until then, I'll be driving a little farther for my fix. read more
