EIGHT DOLLARS AND TWENTY-FIVE CENTS. That is unheard of, and it was really yummy. Honestly, I did not want to leave. Unfortunately, my husband had to go back to work, and I was sitting there wishing he would just take the rest of the day off and hang out with me. The lunch specials are also a great deal at around $13. I had the al pastor fish tacos, which were really yummy. My husband got the ahi poke bowl and OH. MY. GOSH. It was SO GOOD. Whatever sauce they put on that bowl needs to make its way over to the fish tacos! That would be my one critique. The sour cream on the tacos actually took away from the flavor a little bit for me. Swap that out for some of that delicious sauce from the ahi bowl, and I seriously think those tacos would go from five-star to TEN-STAR status. I swapped my fries for the Brussels sprouts, and those did NOT disappoint. Super delicious! The sauce settles toward the bottom, so give them a good mix and you're golden. And then came dessert... The bourbon barrel cake. I was basically fainting over how good it was. Absolutely delicious and such a perfect way to end lunch. Our server, Ellias (with two Ls!), was awesome too. Super attentive, friendly, and took great care of us the entire time. Five stars for the food. Five stars for the atmosphere. Five stars for the service. Even though we came in before the lunch rush and it wasn't packed yet, the place still had such a great energy. It didn't need to be busy to feel like a vibe. Since it was Buffalo Trace Thursday, I asked Avery if the bartender could make me an off-menu "Cowboy Spritz." I explained the ingredients (which features Buffalo Trace bourbon), and he didn't hesitate to make it happen. The bartender, Eileen, made the absolute best rendition of a Cowboy Spritz I've ever had--exceedingly better than expected, completely delicious, and so refreshing. I really hope Eureka! considers adding it as a permanent specialty drink on their menu because it was incredible!
