I just had a bad experience here. Store #2808 is what she gave me. When i asked for a manager she stated "I'm the one in charge" and got smart with me multiple times for me asking for actual meat. They originally only gave me onions and green beans with LITERALLY 2 pieces of meat. I know that's not the ratio & it was for my one year old .. i explained he couldn't eat their hard green beans and onions. She still got smart and i asked for corporate, she told me "look it up on google." I will not be back. It only has two stars bc she did end up giving me 4 pieces of chicken in a container! Average fast-food Chinese. I got the honey walnut shrimp bowl (with 1/2 rice and 1/2 lo mein). The shrimp was good - a perfect tempura crunch and warm. The fried rice was also a solid choice with lots of flavor. The lo mein, though, was probably the worst I've had. Very dry, some crunchy noodles, and totally lacking flavor. My main bug about this place is that I paid a little over $8 for a small bowl of food and a water. This bowl is worth $5 at most (dry lo mein, 1/2 cup of cheap rice, and 7-8 shrimp from a frozen bag). There is an Asian owned Chinese restaurant just down the street from this panda and I pay $8.50 for a whole box of take-home which gives me 2 meals. This is my third visit at panda and each time I've been underwhelmed. I think I'm at my max lifetime visits. read more

This location is very clean and the food was very fresh. The GM was walking out as we were walking in and he was kind enough to talk to us. The cashier offered us a free drink for the wait. We refused but I felt that was very nice of her to offer. As the GM was leaving, he said "goodbye" to each employee by name. I felt that was a nice gesture from upper management. I had given up on Panda Express from a different location. However, after visiting this location, I find they have good, healthy choices along with the calorie count for each menu item. After getting home which is on the other side of town opening them up to see no meat in one of our orders is just poor service. Mixed review. We got the Family Feast which was 3 entrees and two sides. One of the entrees was cold. Had to wait a while (10 min?) in line to let the cashier know. Instead of just replacing it she oddly said that if I 'let it sit' for ten minutes food 'will get cold'. I didn't feel like arguing so I submitted a written complaint to their website. Got called a few days later by a very professional person from Panda Express corporate. They were very apologetic and graciously offered to comp my whole ticket which was about $38. Today I got a gift card for ten bucks. If you had the same experience, how would you feel? For me it felt like a 2 star fast food experience. read more

SERVICE: The counter employees are usually friendly and fast. FOOD: Well, it's decent for being fast food Chinese. There are plenty of choices in various sizes. However, like others have noted, the portions are highly inconsistent. I've been here several times now and found that there is an abnormally high rice-to-entree ratio. I read a manager response from a previous negative review saying this would be addressed, but it appears that was mere virtue signaling. VALUE: For the money it's okay. This was definitely a bad choice for a drive thru. We both had broccoli beef which should have been called beef flavored because there were a few slivers to be found. The orange chicken was ok. The fried rice was not fried or flavored but it did have a little color likely from sauce. Will not repeat. It was nice that they were taking donations for Covid first responders. Is there such thing as better Panda Express not in the mall?! I think this is one of them! I work in Belton so this is a very close location to me. First off, I ordered online. It was VERY order friendly... you basically just click on pictures of dishes that you want. It was also an easy check out and my food was ready in 15 minutes, After I arrived to the place, there was a huge sign that says "online pick up" so I was able to SKIP everyone in line (yay) and go straight to the cash register. They just asked for my name and already had my order filled! Everyone was friendly as well. This place just opened not too long ago so the interior was very modern and had an open kitchen. been to many different panda express coming from california probably well over 50 different locations. Panda express in general are always good with their portions, some are GREAT but some not so great. This place however is without exception the worst panda express when it comes to their portion size. Chow mein was gone after 2 bites. I got the 3 entree bigger plate which says its up to 1900 calories.. not here. I was still hungry after I finished my meal and I'm 148lbs. I felt so ripped off i almost did a charge back on my card, which would've been a first for any fast food joint i ate at.. but in the end food coma got me and i got lazy. Food taste great, like any other panda express, but their stinginess leaves a bad aftertaste. Not coming back, going to other panda expresses where they aren't so cheap. read more

Everyone was nice, besides the lady who gave me my orange chicken. She put one scoop, one skimpy scoop. I nicely asked for a little more than that. She gave me ONE PIECE OF CHICKEN. Like what...the...hell... and she did it with a bitchy face like she had an issue. If I ask for more chicken, I want more than one more piece on there when she gave me barely any. I should not have ordered from here. The rice wasn't all the way cooked and there were crunchy pieces all throughout. I went back to see if they could remake the order and the lady I was talking to was being rude about remaking it and she only gave me some of my order. The food was still gross. I would have taken off more stars if this was an established Panda Express. However, this is a band new location and I'm willing to cut them some slack. The noodles were good but there were more vegetables than noodles. The angus steak entree was decent too but again more veggies than entree. The food did come out really hot and it was still good to eat by the time I brought it home. I hope all the little things get better and we will have an awesome Panda Express (my favorite fast food). read more

I usually get panda express in Olathe. I decided to stop by this on and was very disappointed in the portion size. Much better in Olathe.

The food is so poorly prepared. Fried rice is flavorless, and I had to order it because they ran out of brown rice. Also, I ordered chicken that I honestly should have just cooked myself because it was $10 I will never get back. And I threw away the food because of how poorly prepared it all was. Quite frankly, I only dined out today because I sadly didn't have time to make it back home. Lesson learned: I'm cooking from home and will rather wait an additional 25 minutes to get home instead of going to this Panda Express location. read more

My husband and I usually love Panda Express and have frequented multiple locations (mostly in CA), but the last couple of times we've been to this location the food has been pretty bad. Food was so so... proportions were way off. 3 large scoops of rice in the bowl...only left room for a tiny scoop of the entree. Normally that would be fine but we were charged a $1.50 premium upcharge each for both the Five Flavor Shrimp and the Angus Steak. Both had tiny scoops of entrees. Food was not great. Decor: There were two unmarked doors that led to the front counter; while one seemed to be for the ordering line on the left (which my husband and I were in), the other door was within the tables and had a line of people leading to the front counter as well. No employees directed anyone to which line was correct; it was a free-for-all. Luckily, all the customers were polite and courteous to each other, taking turns. Please mark these doors. Food: My husband ordered half chow mein/half fried rice, was rung up for it, but when we opened his box, it was only chow mein. I ordered cream cheese rangoons, and the worker dumped some back into the warmer that were already bagged up from someone, and then tried to give them to me! Gross! We also ordered one order of vegetable spring rolls (2 individual rolls come in an order) and then were rung up for two CHICKEN rolls! We had to ask for sweet & sour sauce for our sides. The service is good, the food is good but the portion is way off. If you order a bow they will fill it almost 3/4 full with rice or noodles (1 large heaping spoonful then add a small portion of the meat entry. This was our first time eating at Panda Express..sorry to say but it will be the last time as well. Our order was this..1 bowl of orange chicken , 1 med side of chow mein ,an order of spring rolls and an order of egg rolls. Most of the orange chicken is feeding our garbage can..the chow mein was dry and sticky..we recieved 1Egg roll and was charged 1.95 twice..pretty expensive egg roll , the spring rolls were pretty good. We also bought some fortune cookies as well...all for 20 dollars and change..Service area was untidy with dryed food..The store is new so hopefully they will get a bit better but for us..No thank you. read more

Worst Panda Express I've been to, and I love PE. But the Raymore store NEVER (8 tries in a row, no less) has my favorite side, brown rice. They say they don't have enough steamer capacity to make it. I say poor ability to plan! Every other PE I've visited always has it. It is on the menu after all. So I rate every other PE 5 star, and the Raymore store 1 (zero if I could). Yeah, it's a little thing, but it's the principle. Anyhow when I stated my issue, the manager basically said it was too much trouble, so I left and made it worth my trouble to go to the next closest one to my work, which is in OP, KS ( a great store, by the way!). They never let me down. Not worth even trying the Raymore store any more, too many disappointments. read more

Just ate here for lunch and was very disappointed. I went through the drive through and waited at the order box for a good 10 minutes before they even took my order, while 6 cars stacked up behind me. I ordered the mushroom chicken and I guess they didn't have any made so she asked if I could wait for the food. I said sure. I was sitting at the window for another 5 minutes. She even came to the window and asked if I wanted a drink or appetizer while I waited for my food... um no? I just want my order that I've been waiting now 15 minutes for. Another few minutes later she asks me to pull around to wait for it. Sure. Wait in the parking lot another 5 minutes. Finally bring out my food. I get the food out to start eating, no fork or sauce or anything besides my plate of food in the bag.
