Horrible service, very rude and never gave me my 3rd helping I had to remind them when I was at checkout why I was being charged for a bigger plate when I only had 2 sides. Will never return this is the 2nd time this is happened the 1st time I was in a rush and didn't have time to check and finally noticed once I was home that my order was fucked up. read more

Extremely small portion, did not even fill half of the container. Food are cold, looks old, looked like they been sitting for a while. Rude customer service. I don't mind if they raise the price and give a good portion. But the thing is they raise the price and gave a lesser portion. Would definitely not come back to this location. read more

I like coming here as my guilty pleasure for lunch because it's cheap and close by. There is a lot of parking in the area and the lines move by relatively quickly. I usually order a plate with teriyaki chicken with orange chicken or eggplant tofu. The food gets packaged food and the teriyaki chicken is a must have here! I like to get it with no sauce because the teriyaki sauce can get overwhelming but the chicken makes up for it because it's nice and succulent. I would definitely recommend coming here because the staff is friendly and usually gives pretty good portions compared to other Panda Express's that I've been to. read more

It was my first time going to this particular Panda Express location yesterday. My boyfriend and I came here after hiking and relaxing at the beach. The customer service here was wonderful, as the staff was friendly and gave generous portions. Special shout-out to Justin, because when my boyfriend said he wanted Orange Chicken, he said he will give us the freshly cooked one because there were barely any left by the time it was our turn to order. We truly appreciated that. We will definitely come back to this location again! Side note: I hope the Crispy Almond Chicken Breast stays on the Panda Express menu for a long time, or even better, permanently! :) read more

I came into the Pinole store this evening 11/6/21 and purchased 3 meals. 2 bigger plates, and one plate. After waiting for over 10 minutes for the fried rice, the fried rice was flavorless, as though they forgot to add any flavoring. The Beijing Beef was soggy and had mushy breading with no flavor. It tasted like water. The orange Chicken was also soggy. After calling and speaking to Elizabeth the manager on duty she insisted that I needed to come all the way back to the store and bring the plates in order to get a refund for the inedible food. Ultimately it caused too much of a hardship for us to go all the way back. So as opposed to upholding best business practice and giving us our money back without inconveniencing us further we were forced to keep the disgusting food, cook for ourselves, and go uncompensated. This unfortunately reflects on the brand extremely poorly. While we are in the midst of a pandemic and financial hardship we have essentially been robbed this evening. We will not be spending our hard earned money with Panda Express again. read more

Monday July 1, 2019 Owner, Please do not require your cashiers to become beggars. It's very annoying when the cashiers begs for money for whatever your current cause is. This evening your cashier was begging. I told her I would donate $10.00 if she would donate $5.00. She looked at me like I was crazy. I'm not, just annoyed. That's the sole reason I posted a one star review. There's enough beggars on the freeway off ramps. Signed? Randy O. read more

Food is standard on what you would expect from a Panda Express. There is a girl there Alex that seems nice enough but she gives the absolute smallest portions I've ever seen from a panda. Like child size portions. This does not happen with other employees. I can't help but to feel jipped when she is portioning out my food. I once ordered the eggplant tofu and wasn't paying attention when she was serving it, and when I got home there was 3 pieces of tofu and half a piece of smashed eggplant. I was so confused I legit thought someone had eaten my food, but I was the only one home at the time read more

The absolute worse Panda Express on the planet. Disgusting, just horrible, the food that is. Yuck. I always come back here because it's open until 10 and food is reasonable. I am just displeased with the service I got today. I always order orange chicken, with eggplant tofu, can't regret that! Although sometimes, eggplant tofu has tough eggplants. Anyway, the reason for three stars is because of this server, JAZMIN. Crappy service! Disrespectful and racist. She was the cashier, rung me up without asking if I needed a drink. So then she told me the total, and I asked her to add "juice" for my son. Then she made a face and added the drink but there was none left. So she then told me, there's no more juice and was impatiently waiting as I asked my son what drink he wants instead. We got a regular drink, Pepsi. On top of that, I was not done and she already turned her back and went to her colleague and started to chit chat while helping. But the point is, she did not add plastic utensils, nor condiments. So I had to go to her and asked for spicy sauce. She then, with attitude, went and got some and handed me the pockets of sauce without saying anything. She is really rude. Panda Express, please make sure to train your employees! Anyway, excellent service to the little Filipina woman taking orders (first phase, where rice and chow mien is located at). That's the kind of service you should be implementing throughout Panda Express. read more

Came here last night for some dinner. It was busy as usual for a Saturday night. The customer service is pretty good every time I have came here. They are always very nice & always ask you if you would like a sample of something. They are also pretty good about restocking their empty items. Sometimes they can be a little slow but never seem to mess up your order. They only thing that can improve about this place is how clean the place is. The floor is usually dirty, sticky & blotchy. Which well isn't attractive when you are eating. I hardly dine in here because its either packed or too loud. They also have outdoor seating which is nice on nice days. The food taste good- better then the food in pleasant hill. read more

February 6, 2023 just walked out of panda for the second time... whoever you have on this night crew need to be taught how to service customers too much playing and joking going on and when somebody have to turn around and tell you to stop cussing so loud it crazy... now to my number one concern after placing my order it shouldn't take me eight minutes to get my food rung up while my food sit on the counter getting cold so instead of waiting any minute more, I decided to walk out and leave the food behind. Since my time is important to me and I have somewhere to be so I decided to stop back by don't know why I did that walked in only two people in front of me fresh orange chicken coming out fresh grilled chicken coming out it's 9:15 PM at night, so you would think there should be no way they could mess up this time... but I was wrong instead of a three item plate. I think she fix me a kids meal. The portion sizes were not at all what they should have been and I don't see no reason why she was doing it instead of walking out this time which I should have I went on excepted would she gave me in the whole time I'm thinking to myself is you'll never get another dollar of my money and I know I'm just a drop in the bucket because this place is always busy but if more people stop patronizing these places like this the service will get a lot better and I'll just keep knocking them off the list because my money is important to me and service is important to me since I'm paying for it so I hope a manager read this and solve these issues because if they don't they won't be a manager here too much longer... read more

Panda express. one way of saying Americanize Chinese fast food which isn't bad at all lol. I enjoy eating here for lunch because its right next to some stores for example best buy target and the bevmo!!! lol I wouldn't recommend anyone who is watching there sodium intake to eat here but if you just don't care and enjoy a quick and easy meal under the 10 bucks range knock your self out lol. Panda Express - it was raining bleh..... but its for YELP!!! - Chinese Near Me - Pinole, California

Just walked out of Panda Express. I come here specifically because they wear mask and gloves. For me that's important especially when covid is still relevant. However, walked in today and the cook has his mask down preparing food. What's the purpose of the mask if you are going to keep it below your chin. Also, the cashier never washed his hands or changed his gloves after handling money. He handed the lady in front of me her change (dollars and coins) and went straight to touching my food. So disgusting. His finger (with the glove he just touched money with) was sitting all in my bowl of food. Im big on safe food practices and this is by far one of the nastiest things I've seen. Poor food handling practices lead to people getting sick. I will for sure be making a call to the health department. read more

Panda Express was very good in San Rafael. But we recently moved to East Bay, so we decided to try on 1473 Fitzgerald Drive in Pinole around noon on 3/12/2023. No one goes to Panda Express for amazing food. It's tasty, quick, and the has a uniform level of quality across store locations. NOT THIS STORE I ordered a vegetable/fried rice bowl with the green bean chicken breast entree to go. When I went to eat my food the chicken was NOT breast meat but lower quality dark meat. I ordered this dish specifically because I do not eat dark meat. I had to pick out the inedible chicken and just eat vegetables and rice. I travel quite frequently and thought of Panda Express as an establishment that has quality standards across locations. I will never return to this particular location and will proceed cautiously at other locations. Additionally this particular Panda Express allows it's employees to serve themselves food on a plate like you'd find in someones home. On my short visit I saw several serve themselves and go sit and eat very large plates of food. This seems odd to do in front of customers. Every food service I have worked as has requested employees to take meals out of sight of the pubic. There are many other food options in this area. I will NEVER go here again. read more
