Probably my worst experience at a a Panda Express. I'm not sure which are decisions of a franchise owner and which are from corporate, but the menu selection was pretty lame. My son and I felt pressured but the employee to pick out items before we had a chance to even see what they have. My son wanted just an entree but the employee made him a plate and didn't seem to understand that he didn't want rice or noodles, just the entree. I asked for two sodas but only was rung up for one. Just everything was off just a little, not enough to leave but enough to make us feel like we should have gone to Habit or something. The restaurant was clean and not too busy on a Saturday afternoon. Parking was easy. read more

Conveniently located right off the highway, which makes it an easy stop when traveling through town. The food was decent overall, and the staff was friendly enough. Not all PEs are the same. The veggies weren't cut very consistently, with some pieces being unusually large, and several were still quite a bit undercooked. Still better than the other fast food spots. read more

I had a scheduled interview for 11 am which I arrived 10 minutes early to. When the employee greeted me, he told me that the manager was not there yet, and that I should come back at 11:30 (which I did) and walked in to see that I had been skipped without getting any type of message or phone call. I was aware of the first come first serve policy of the hiring event, and being the first person to arrive for an interview, I expected to be the first person served. Overall waste of time and I would not recommend working for people who don't care about your time. 0 stars. read more

I had an issue with a DoorDash order for some party trays. I ended up cancelling and calling the store. They told me to go in. Luis the manager was so friendly and helpful. They got the order down quickly and even added in a party entree on the house. I don't usually write reviews for fast food type establishments but this experience really stands out. read more

Food: 3/5 With the other places in the area being closed and having just a few minutes to eat something I tried this spot. I have tried roughly 10-15 other Panda Express locations, and sadly this one was by far, the most underwhelming and unsatisfying of them all. The noodles tasted a bit old, chicken was ok but lacked flavor and also cold, veggies ok, chicken breast and teriyaki lacked flavor compared to the other times at other locations I've had them. The teriyaki chicken (I always get this without the extra sauce) had so much extra fat and inedible parts that I couldn't eat. As I could have easily picked up an order to go in the future, due to the food quality and taste I will likely not be returning ever again. Service: 2/5 The first person pouring my sides was friendly and helpful and well as the second. When I encountered the first person ringing me up, she seemed confused on what I had ordered. I had to repeat it all, and ask for chili sauce 4 times. After the second time, she had only put in one packet. I kindly requested another and at the point it seemed like she just ignored me. For this whole meal I only had 2 packets of sauce. Ambiance: 3/5 It is incredibly dead inside here and my coworkers in the area recommended avoiding the place but I just had nowhere else to go as I was hungry with just 10 min to spare for the next few hours to eat all day. Inside, I did not feel welcome. Did not use the restroom either as I needed. There were two employees there as well eating right by the order area which was a bit awkward as no customers were inside. I have worked in fast food before and understand we all have lunches and breaks, I just never experienced this type of atmosphere at this chain before. read more

This is absolutely disgusting i came here with my fiancé and her cousin late at night, after 45min later when we are almost done eating her cousin found a cooked and squashed bug that looks like a cockroach at the bottom of our plate. To make matters worse there were no manager NOR supervisor available and there won't be anyone available to help until Wednesday, thats 2 days i have to wait to have a manager contact us for a refund or anything, they even offered another plate or even a coupon like thats going to help, the lack of supervision and even basic sanitation is HILARIOUS read more

Panda Express - Here is the receipt and on the napkin is the bug that we found in one of our food. - Chinese Near Me - Petaluma, California

Stay Away Unless You Have Great Health Insurance On May 8th around lunchtime, we ordered takeout from Panda Express in Petaluma. Within just a few hours, everyone who ate the food got violently ill -- it was coming out of both ends. My 3-year-old woke up from his nap soaked in sweat. The only one in our family who didn't get sick was the one who didn't eat the food. We went to Kaiser and were told it was food poisoning. We're fine now, but it was a miserable experience, especially with young kids involved. This place needs to be investigated by the Petaluma Health Department. I get that companies like Panda Express have lawyers who will say "you probably ate something else," but this review isn't about blame -- it's about warning others. If it saves you or your family from a trip to urgent care, then it's worth it. Avoid this location. It's not worth the risk. read more

My first time at a Panda Express. The price is very reasonable for a very large serving of food. There were a lot of choices of entree plus a few sides. The food is not the best Chinese food I've ever had but it satisfied for the price and convenience. If you're in a hurry, it works. The staff were helpful. read more

Stopped here to grab dinner bc it was hot out. Haven't been here in awhile. Few options, no brown rice, white rice was stale, orange chicken I settled for was terrible. It was tough and nearly inedible. I didn't have high expectations but sorry to say this location has declined... a lot. Prices are a bit high for smaller portions and quality. Employees were courteous and pleasant. read more

I've been here maybe 10 times in the past six months. it has always been consistently excellent. To servers are extremely friendly and conscientious. The environment is spotless and clean, and it has plenty of tables, and spaced well apart. Their food is quite tasty as are all the Panda Express But this one is especially good. Highly recommended! read more

Too much oil at all... everything is greasy. I suggest you to find another store. The rice is greasy and the chicken is dripping oil, you need five or six paper towel sheets to be able to eat this. Depending on the location, Panda Express can be a hit or miss when it comes to meeting the expected standards of one of their flagship locations. It's not mystery the reason 90% of us go is for the orange chicken. This Panda Express is conveniently located in a strip mall, with a cold stone creamery next door, so be on the look out for my review for them a well. The interior is well kept, clean and during peak hours difficult to find a place to sit. I always found myself ordering the same thing over and over, 1 side with 3 entrees. I had the rice, double orange chicken, and then the teriyaki chicken with extra sauce on the side. The 4 months I spent in Petaluma, this place was a frequent stop at least once a week, more so on the weekends then during the week. I never had an issue with this location or its food. **Full Disclosure** This experience occurred back in 2004, but I am just catching up on all my reviews now. I can't speak to its current conditions or quality of food, but the opinion above is purely during my experiences back in 2004. They were memorable enough that I wanted to write a review. read more

Very disappointed today. The food here is always great and they always are quick. I like that they have dots on the floor for proper 6 ft distancing for guests. They have signs everywhere that say masks are required which is great! Unfortunately they are not enforcing it with their own employees. There was a gentleman sitting at a table INSIDE, I am guessing he was on break. He was sitting with his head on the table with NO MASK and clearly wearing his Panda Express uniform. So unfortunate. 09/20/2020 @ 1:10pm read more

I see why they have a 1-2 star rating. The lady was rude at the front which is normal but my biggest gripe is the portions. You are paying 10$ for 2 SMALL scoops of orange chicken and a tiny bit of rice. I asked for a little more and she said "you only get two scoops" yeah but it would help if you ACTUALLY PUT TWO DECENT SIZED SCOOPS !!! unacceptable tiny portions and over priced luke warm trash. As I said in a previous review that I would update my review when the service was improved. The foods taste has gotten a lot better, I've really enjoyed the quality of the food. I want to add more stars but unfortunately I can't do that yet because of the time it takes to get my food. The food is already made, it should take a max of 5 minutes to scoop my food and allow me to pay. This isn't with big lines, this is me standing and waiting to pay for my food while the servers move slowly and talk to each other. I'm going to mark the time it takes me to get my food below and continue to update it. 7/22 - 8mi 8/3 - 7mi - I waited in the front of the line and watched as several online orders were plated before me, a customer in store 8/12 - 8mi 8/19 - 12mi 8/29 - 9mi - No one in front of me, waited at the front of the line as they scooped several online orders before serving me. read more

Got to admit, the food is consistent across stores, that's a good thing. Each franchise so far has been pretty good.

One of my favorite places to go just fell off the planet on service. Are you trying to lose customers? I always like adding pot stickers to my dinner, but no pot stickers and the pot sticker sauce is discontinued? What's next taco bell gonna stop selling tacos and their sauce packs? Then I noticed the kid was giving me a smaller portion, I thought maybe it was just a employee being stingy, but I was shocked when they put the third container it was 1/2 of the size then the last time I had ca me in, it literally had 5 orange chicken pieces, and this is the new size? Did all of the sizes shrink? We also liked many of the items in the past like Shanghai beef. But that spot was taken with plant based orange chicken, and they still call it orange chicken. Like, um, can you please change the name because chicken is chicken, they eat plants they arent plants. What is this all about, politics, climate change? Soon everything will be plant based? No it isnt customers asking for this junk, it is woke corporation focus groups. Expect to lose your customer base the more you head in this direction. Literally you were my favorite place to eat for a decade or better, now I can't even fathom how bad your decisions are. I was expecting my usual line being 5-6pm on friday, but there was literally 0 people in line, I couldn't believe it. Of course that was before I found all of these new menu items. Well, very sad, I will buy costco beef Bulgogi and I guess that will replace my pot stickers and shanghi beef and I can eat ten times as much for the new small portion sizes. I can't see me going back. I know my wife will have me pick her up some time to time, but instead of picking up twp orders one for me, I'll go get taco bell until they stop selling tacos for some plant based garbage like panda did. read more

I just came here got my food everything looked good but man the orange chicken was tasting fishy so I kept spitting it out and into my bad and the broccoli beef was a bit soggy in the end I ate stopped eating the orange chicken and broccoli beef and ate the bottles and rice I had, I was done didn't even want to finish my food I threw it out was not worth the money coming to this location, will try another hopefully they can get it right next time read more

Dont come if you're in a hurry. Came in on a Saturday and the line was 7 or 8 people long. Took them 20 min to take my order and ten minutes to serve me. Very bright and spacious place. Even though it is a chain I have not had a bad experience other than the line sometimes can get long especially around the 7:00 pm time frame. The staff seems friendly though they may could use one more individual at their peak times. You cannot really beat the price for the amount of food you get here. The premium dishes can add some cost to the total bill but I stick with just the main selections. Be sure to enter thru the main door and not the side door for then you have to navigate over into getting in line. Will be back for sure! read more

the service is kind bad why I could not get two items that I wanna also the food was uncooked the rice was ove cooked

This place gets a bad rap, and I'm not sure why? I witnessed a very upset costumer go in circles about her experience while the manager was trying her best to help her... even having to tell the customer to calm down because she was so rude. Not mention she came in without her mask on her face potentially contaminating all the food or spreading something to other people who were there. She was offered not only a refund but to replace the entire meal and instead she chose to storm out. Yes the online ordering is a little wonky but they're open during a global pandemic and they're trying their best. Cut these people some slack. The food is always good, and if you can't wait an extra 5 mins while they whip up a new batch then you can stay home with your homemade meals. Enough is enough. read more
