I have been here twice (E. Nine Mile Rd location), and both times were overall great experiences. The most recent time was clearest in my memory, so I will focus on that. It was about 5 o' clock. The girl running the register was very courteous. She explained things very clearly, like how many Rangoons I would get for a side, and readily answered questions like which crafted beverages had caffeine in them. Even as I had to use three forms of payment to chip away at my total (including an old gift card where you have to type the code manually), she didn't show any (righteous) annoyance. I used to work in fast food, I know how it is, haha. She also told me where I could find the napkins and straws after completing my order. The tables were very clean. Last time the hand sanitizer things around the restaurant were empty, so I brought my own this time. (If you are reading this, please refill. It's important for customers to be sanitary. ) Though the Sesame Chicken, Super Greens, and Rangoons were terrific (with generous portions for the former two), I did dock a star for the Kung Pao Chicken. I think I may have gotten the scrapings, because the bits of meat I got had an off-putting, rubbery texture. I also recommend the Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp, which I got last time. I understand feeling the pressure of a lunch/dinner rush; however when the entire restaurant is vacant, not even a car in the drive thru. There should be no attitude or frustration from staff when assisting a customer. Upon the discovery they were out of the entree I ordered, I was told I would be given orange chicken instead. When I asked the selection available to pick another; I was instead given an eye roll, a sharp look of distain, and the window being shut in my face. Straight up. Never going to come back, and I would advise anyone else who wants to eat here to browse other options. Like most say on here, they are always out of some menu item! Wife ordered crab rangoon and it looked like complete trash. Both of us got half and half (fried rice/chow mein), besing beef and new chicken they had. Food was OK. The rice/noodles were descent, but the entrees are cheap fried meat. Look...we've had similar experiences before from here, so we should know better. Look...credit where credit is due...food was OK, but just OK. I would have just rather have headed to McDonalds and gotten a couple hamburgers for $4. I do love ya Panda Express, but the team there needs to improve. The 4 for 20 Bowls promo that expired on 4/30/20. Great deal for $5 a piece when they are normally $6.25, right? When I got home, I was so hoping that I got a $6.25 bowl for $5 with regard to portion. Sure enough, the bowls were downsized to a $5 bowl instead of the normal $6.25. Is this really a promo? Seriously. 3/4 of the bowl containers all had rice almost filled to the rim. The entree was slim if anything. I won't be back to Panda Express. Sorry, but I could have gone to the grocery store and purchased alot of stuff for $20. We're all without jobs during this crisis, so to throw away $20 on food that I normally wouldn't buy just because I wanted to help out ... I won't do it again. And the frustrating part here was that it was online ordering only for the special. No worries. I got an email receipt just telling me to head to the store. Sure would have been nice had they been detailed after the order to actually say in the email to pick up INSIDE the building when arriving at the place. Why make it easy for the customer right? When I got there, there were really no signs to pick up the food so I assumed I could just drive through the drive up and have it given to me. Wishful thinking. I had two cars in front of me and one behind me. When I got one car behind the order box, lo and behold, there was the sign, in the drive up, for online orders to pick up INSIDE. I get to the order box and asked if they could hand me my order and I was told no. I honestly don't know whether or not I should give 1 or 2 stars. So I decided to be nice and give the better of the two. When we first arrived, my fiancé and I decided to eat inside for a change. (That was the first mistake of our visit.) because it seems like this specific Panda Express only cares about their drive thru orders. (I know the drive thru is a higher demand and comes first to lobby customers.) but we stood in line waiting to get our order in for 10 minutes. After all of that, we finally got our order in and got our food. I personally ordered a plate of orange chicken, the new honey sesame chicken, and white rice. While my fiancé ordered a plate of orange chicken, honey sesame chicken, with 1/2 white rice and 1/2 chow mein. I got the last of the honey sesame chicken and my fiancé had to wait. The worker stated that she would personally bring out his HSC since it won't be done for 5 minutes. 15 minutes goes by, and still nothing. We see that the honey sesame chicken is done cooking and is on the "front display" if you will. So my fiancé goes up to the counter because at that time, I've finished my food and was going to ask for a to go box for the rest of my food plus his HSC. My fiancé was standing there for a good 10 minutes. And let me tell you, there was no one in line. They have no care in the world about their lobby customers. We just decided to leave instead of wasting our time for some chicken. I highly recommend, if you do come to this location. GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU. Terrible service. Got there at 9:05 pm and since they close at 9:30 pm there was next to no food to pick from. They told me they could make what I wanted, but when the cook finally came out from the back, at 9:10 pm (wasting 5 minutes), he put his head down and rolled his eyes and said with a pissy tone that it would take 10 minutes at least. So, since my kids already had their food and would basically be done eat it yet the time the cook would even be close to done with my food (not to mention I wouldn't trust him to make it now, seeing as how he was so pissed off about being asked to), I told them to forget it and just paid for my kids food and watched them eat. It's utter bull crap that they stop making food so much before they close and then are pissed off that someone might want them to make more that I would have PAID for. The supervisor waited until we were seated with our food to tell us we had to take it out and they were not allowing seated dining. This is the only Panda location I go to. The food is decent. A lot of entrees to choose from and a lot of different size plates and bowls you can make. Drive thru is kinda tricky because it splits and shares with Chick fil a so be careful. Seating inside and out. Quick service. I like the honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, and beijing beef. I love their veggies but sometimes its a hit or miss on whats included. Usually I get half chow mein and veggies (which consist of cabbage, green beans, zucchini). They have military discount but the free entree you can get after completing the survey on the back is a better deal. TIP: keep your receipt and fill it out. You don't have to do it within that time frame either. I find receipts months later and it still work read more

This was my first visit to panda express. I had high hopes but was sadly disappointed very quickly. I ordered the three entrée combo with a side of vegetable spring rolls. I was asked to pull around because they were making fresh chow mein noodles it would only require a 4 minute wait so I did. 8 minutes later and after seeing a guy through the window sit down with a plate full of chow mein noodles I got out of my car and went inside. I got the standard "oh we're working on your order ma'am" which really means oops we forgot about you. I tried a vegetable spring roll on my drive home and was shocked at how disgusting it was it was like eating a big crunchy yet squishy goo concoction. Needless to say they went straight in the trash. We've eaten here several times, and haven't been disappointed yet. Good food at a fair price, and friendly service. Outside dining is also available which is nice when the weather permits. Tip: They allow you to taste test any item before purchasing, making it easy to decide if you want to venture out from your usual selection(s), or not. Some of my favorites dishes include the "honey walnut shrimp," the "orange chicken," and their "grilled teriyaki chicken." The chow mein and fried rice are also good. Bonus tip: If you complete the survey on your receipt after visiting you'll receive your next entree free. One last tip: Go during the day, portion sizes are bigger and service is better. Due to the current limitations set upon us getting food to go is alittle more of an issue. We expected a company that decreased the number of entrees they were going to have available would be able to cook them appropriately. The rice was absolutely horrible! This is the first time I have ever had bad rice from any Panda Express! The chicken I had was good but the beef was ok 5/10. The portions have dropped by atleast 30-40%. We also ordered chicken and green beans. The beans were horrible and another complaint on the rice. I understand due to covid 19 businesses are struggling. If employees are not going to take the time to cook the food appropriately maybe you should look into hiring people who would actually be thankful for employment. read more

Poor customer service. I ordered an orange chicken and a side of noodles and a bigger plate. Tried to use my "free entree"coupon and they decided to use coupon on a $1.50 egg roll. Took a buck fifty off total price of the bigger plate and still didn't give me the original orange chicken with side of noodles. After trying to explain that I am missing an orange chicken they proceeded to charge me another $4.41 for a small Side of chicken and $3.10 for the noodles.
