Most of the time I have a great experience. BUT, I went through the drive thru and I was looking at something when the girl asked for a name for the order, so I hesitated and said uhh and then my name. Then she asked if I made it up. No it's not a strange name. But what the heck! Instead of worrying about if I made my name up, worry about getting my food in less then ten minutes instead of 30 minutes in the drive thru and NO the food was not hit and fresh. Was visiting from the west coast for training and Texans ways hype this place up so for my lunch I decided to try it and see what the hype was about. It was not bad but it wasn't the best. The service was speedy and I sat down to eat. I did notice the soda machine was not the cleanest. The ambiance was just like any fast food restaurant. I got the spicy chicken sandwich. Never heard of this place ever. We have Steak N Shake in Georgia and it's the closest to this. Or compare it to In N Out in California. This place was okay. Nothing to rave about. The burgers are huge though. My friends and I all tried the Bacon and Cheese Whataburger and the Patty Melt. The only cool thing I liked was their limited time SPICY KETCHUP. It was good. The service was exceptional being 3am. Other than that, not really going back to eat at one unless it's really late and nothing else is open. read more

Actually one of the worst whataburger locations in Pensacola. I love the food from whataburger but the service from this locations is so consistently awful. Everyone of the employees ignores you and takes over 20 minutes just to give me an order of one meal. I understand that lunch rushes exist and they could be short staffed but this place strives to be the worst. read more

We needed a late night meal. Glad Whataburger was open. Nothing else like a good burger to end the day. We got the swiss mushroom burger and bacon cheese burger well done with fries. No problems with the meal. Staff was polite and friendly. The wait in drive thur was reasonable. Had to wait a bit longer for two well done burgers. No problem with that. Don't frequent Whataburger for evening meal often. Stopped in about 8pm on a Thursday The self service kiosk was a real pain to use. Overly complicated. Finally got our order entered. Waited nearly 20 minutes for our dine in order. Ordered two #1 combo's. One burger was add bacon....there were two 1 1/2 inch long pieces of bacon in it. The onions were left out of the other. Both were more bread than burger patty even though the prices have gone up. I guess Biden-nomics is affecting the burger business as well. Theses were definitely not last year's sandwiches. The drinks had to be asked for as they were left off the order. The chocolate.malt was a chocolate shake. Both burger patties were at room temp when they arrived and the fries were barely warm. I have always found Whataburger to be prompt with good food and service. Not this time. I will avoid this location in the future read more

It was 9:30pm on a Saturday and they wouldn't let people in the restaurant. The guy up front at the counter wasn't allowing any white people inside the restaurant. There were several people of other races eating inside enjoying their meal. The worker told us we can go F*** ourselves. When I think about Whataburger I never think about good service but this is a new low. Next time I'm going to be a friend who isn't white and maybe I can get in the door. read more

Our first time in this Whataburger and overall very pleased with the cleanliness, professional support staff, and our Grilled Chicken Salads. Our friends had a Whataburger, Fries, and a Drink and perfectly cooked burgers and fries. The ONLY reason we held off on 5 Stars was our Grilled Chicken Breast was pretty over cooked. Oh, Whataburger, my late-night, post-drinking companion. You never judge me for wearing too much makeup or stumbling in heels that are too high for me to properly walk in. This location is fantastic. I came in here for lunch one day while travelling on I-10 and wasn't disappointed. It was clean, the service was great, and the food was cooked properly. My cheeseburger tasted like heaven, hold the onion, and my fries were fried to golden, warm, crispy perfection. After a long day of driving, this Whataburger made me feel as though it was all worth it, just to arrive hungry at their doors and leave completely satisfied. It's a national chain so you can't give them many stars just because of that. But, with that said, it's one of the "must go to" places when we come back to US. But for a vegetarian, these kind of places suck. I asked for the chicken melt without the chicken and they still wanted to charge the $6.29 price. No thank you. Had to, as always, order a salad which I hate because it's always brown iceberg lettuce. Cashier assured me they prepare each salad fresh. I was skeptical and surprised. Our food was brought to our table. Interesting method of delivery, a tray with our food and another to choose condiments and napkins. My husband wolfed down his double burger with cheese so I'll have to wait until next visit to tell you if it was tasty. The fries were good and not greasy! Yay! However, my salad was exactly as I thought it would be. It may have been "prepared" to order, but the lettuce was prepped a long time ago and a lot had the wilted, brown knife cut marks (actually a lot had gone black-see picture). I picked the wilted out and all of the ribs and ended up with shredded cheese, croutons and dried cranberries with a little apple and lettuce. And btw, the apple is sliced so you have to use the plasticware to cut it up before you toss in your dressing. I will give them props for using Romaine instead of Iceberg lettuce. A Whataburger in Florida??? Obviously, but I wasn't expecting it! Whataburger is always good, I prefer it over McDonald's any day. Nice place here, must be a signature Whataburger. Only complaint: in Tx stores they bring order to you for dine-in--how about FLA? At this store they had me come get it. The table delivery is just a nice touch that sets them apart from most other FF joints (not that I'm lazy, of course). Please keep it alive in your stores always. Changing my review for this SPECIFIC Whataburger to a 1 star. Based solely on the staff. Every single time I come here they get something wrong. It isnt hard to read the order screen and do it. I would say that this Whataburger is the best spot to go to eat. Even though they have messed up twice in the past month and I would have reduced the stars to a 2 or 3, but because of their attitude and being so nice and generous about it, I am rating them 5 stars and you will hear about below. 1st time: I got the #3 combo, a triple stack burger with fries, a beverage, and a cinnamon roll. Unfortunately, they didn't put the cinnamon roll in the bag and didn't catch it until later at work when I went to go eat it. After work, I went by and said I wanted to get the cinnamon roll that they didn't put and an Apple Pie and was going to pay for the Apple Pie. When they came from the back, I was about to pay for apple pie, but they said:" don't worry about it, I was all good!" I said, "Thank You!!" and departed. 2nd time: I got again the #3 combo, a triple stack burger with fries, a beverage, and a cinnamon roll. I asked for the burger plain, add lettuce, tomato, and bacon. Regrettably, they missed understood lettuce and tomato for Mayo. So all I obtained was the Bun, Bacon, Mayo, and three Meat, no Cheese. Again, I phoned them and after work, I went by and my dad joined me and got the replacement food and got fries and a large drink. My dad wanted a Fish Sandwich Combo and I was going to pay for the Fish Sandwich, but again they said, don't worry about it... a +$15 value!! So, I really and highly recommend this Whataburger in the Pensacola area to go to eat, and not for the mess-ups... Lol. I LOVE Whataburger in General. BUT today I ordered at the Burgess road Location and hadn't ate there since the Renovations. So I ordered the #1 w/Coke for my Boyfriend. And for ME I ordered the #6 a double meat Whataburger Jr. W/a Sm .UnSweetened Tea. ,NOW I could barely hear their speaker (it sounded like a whisper). As I drove around I realized that I forgot to tell her how I wanted it fixed as I'm ALLERGIC to ONIONS . When I got to the window to pay (only 1 window open on drivethru AT 10:35 am CST). I asked her if they could AT least take the ONIONS OFF , and she replied Mam YOUR sandwich has been up here waiting for you to pay. Already. I CAN'T do that for you. . Well I said can I get some mayo, " I Guess" she said. Then yelled can I get some mayo AT the window. THEN I paid. I cry. I cry hard. I cry smiling, as I destroyed the last fry and the last bite of the triple Whataburger drenched in mayo, onion, extra extra cheese and about 10 slices of bacon. Why does it have to be this good? Why do it have to be this deliciously insane? I get so weak in the knees over Whataburger I can hardly stand it OH!! This is why I have no superhuman powers-I'd be uprooting the building and bringing it to Chicago. The food is excellent, cheap for most but expensive for me...I order a wop of goodies extra. A fabulous sloppy mess of a meal!! Hate that it's so far away...kept the cup and french fry box as a souvenir. I love Whataburger. We do not have them where we live, so when I travel and i see one, I stop in for at least one meal while in town. This one, however, is just yucky. The staff must hate being there, and it shows. The food seemed stale, and not even warm. Usually someone will come to your table with a tray of condiments, not here. The meal was generally okay. I got two large orders at the drive thru. The drive thru line took a few minutes, as expected. The cashier - She was very kind, and polite. The manager was there also. Out of five stars, I would give them 4.8 stars. The food - this is where the rating went down. The fries were not tasteful. It was cold-ish, and had a bland taste to it.
