They don't even have sport peppers in the building any more, rather they offer fried jalapenos. So I went with mustard and kraut, since they tend to do a decent job with that. My bad. Though the kraut was nice and crunchy, the dogs came out ... not cold, but barely warmed. The fries, which you have to eat in a hurry (else they'll get cold), came out at room temp. I sampled the smash burger and the patty melt and was unimpressed with the temperature and quality. Someone way over salted the burger -- probably an accident -- and it just seemed greasier than usual. Also not impressive here was the cleanliness. The table was OK, but the drink and condiment area left much to be desired. Also, take a look at my photo of the tray. Why would someone serve my food on this? Bottom line: Freddy's has been passed around between private equity firms since the pandemic.
