Food that was swept off of the floor after spilling out of the melted styrofoam box

This place has always been a wonderful place to go for excellent Chinese food at a great price. Not sure what happened but they really tanked it this last time. My spouse and I always come here, but we recently ordered food, and the entire rice entrée fell out of the bottom of the styrofoam container onto the floor. The food melted through the container. We called just to get a refund on the rice over the phone, but they said we'd need to bring the rice back... from off the floor... For proof that we were being honest about it? I'm not sure. We said no and argued a little before they offered to make us fresh. After witnessing food melt through styrofoam, my wife didn't really want any more rice. So again, we just wanted a refund to the card, which you should be able to do easily. What system is being used here? The drive for us is 20 minutes just to get there, so this is always a special trip for us to make. This is especially with rising gas prices. To make matters worse, whomever answered the phone (cashier, maybe?) was rude and copped an attitude with us even though I was friendly. This caused my wife to have an attitude back because she tends to match the energy of whomever she is talking to. Furthermore, the prices have gone up yet the portions have gone down. This includes the amount of actual oranges in the orange chicken sauce (where's my orange peel pieces? Loved them, now they're gone too) and even the rice. The whole situation left us questioning whether we should continue eating here. I know, I know, one less customer doesn't make a difference. Y'all get paid either way. But it does suck for us because this is the only Chinese restaurant we'd choose to eat at because it's the best in our opinion. The orange chicken is the best I've ever had from anywhere. Unfortunate for us, I guess.

I have no reason to ding any stars. This was my first visit. The dining room was clean. The staff was very polite. The food was delicious. Other patrons were not noisy. The atmosphere was good. The prices were excellent. The food portion was great. I would recommend it and when in town, I would eat here again.

This place definitely just looks like a little hole-in-the-wall type of place that you might just drive past, but I was craving Chinese and this was the closest place to my work with the best looking reviews. The food was super fresh and super delicious! The best part was the fantastic food came at a fantastic price! I got a huge fresh meal (which I'll be having for dinner as well) AND an order of 5 cheese puffs for just a little over $11! On top of it all, the woman that worked with me was probably the most kind and personable woman I have ever had help/serve me ANYWHERE. Especially when it comes to Chinese food. I will 100% be visiting this establishment again!

This place is conveniently located on spencer highway. It is a clean looking restaurant and there's a drive through. I was hoping to love this place but sadly that was a no. Staff was friendly food came out hot. They had a picture menu with just pictures no words that was odd. The egg drop soup was the weirdest I've ever had. It tasted like there was jalapeños in it. I took about 3 spoonfuls and poured it down the sink. Next was the crab/cheese puffs. Not the worst I've ever had but way down on the list. Not a lot of flavor alone, not a lot of filling either. It was better with the sweet and sour but another issue I had was the cramping was lays and I had to spit them out becuse it was unbeatable. Beef lo mien was a disappointment. The steak was good. The dish didn't have a lot of flavor and what made it more disappointing was there were portions of the noodles with no sauce. The noodles were the Italian flower noodles and you could taste this not the egg noodles that goes with normal lo mien. The pork fried rice, the rice was good and I would have loved it all except the pork was dried out and it was like eating jerky. Back to looking for another Chinese tes

Good, fast, cheap, and friendly. What more can I ask for? My favorites are the Oriental special, shrimp fried rice, and the egg drop soup.

01.16.26 had dinner with a very close friend of mine today…read more service, presentation, and food is very consistent and great here, i also like they dont change the recipe up, they keep it the same everytime. my close friend mentioned to me that she saw the noodle master thru the glass window, making the noodles, and after she ate what she ordered, the soup, she said very good, i cant tell they dont use a lot of salt like some other places do. we will definately be back. keep up the good work !

This restaurant left a lot to be desired. I took a chance while I was in Baytown as I saw they had…read morevarious locations around Houston. As we walked in the hostess/waitress looked at us and kept asking "what?" at least 4 times before she realized we wanted a table for 2. We were seated and we felt like we were inconveniencing the waitress as she seemed to not really want to be there at all. It felt like wanted to take our orders, and leave our table ASAP. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it did not seem like standard service. The "fresh" soup dumplings were so thick and chewy. Normally soup dumplings are supposed to be thin and delicate but these were the complete opposite. The beef noodle soup lacked flavor all around. I ordered it with wide noodles as the server told me they were around half an inch wide, my noodles came out and they were over an inch wide... which is not what I expected. The scallion pancake was the best item I had that night and that says a lot since it was probably frozen/pan fried. The poor service coupled with the food definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place to anyone as there are plenty of other soup dumpling restaurants in the Houston are
