(not at all from palmdale!) i got 'the bigger plate' for $11 (3 entrees, 1 side), the food was PERFECTLY tasty and appetizing. the shrimp, chicken and beef in my 3 entrees all tender, delicious and cooked correctly. at only $11... it was enjoyable and hit the spot. plus there was enough to take home for a light dinner. there seem to be a lot of super uptight, entitled reviews here. "he didn't greet me when i walked in..." - get over yourself they're here to give you a nice fast meal, not be your mom or therapist. so many... whiners. i don't get the overall low score here bc it's very good bang for the buck, and very good for a quick fulfilling bite. the sunday i was here, people seemed to agree the line was consistently about 20 people long and snaked through the store. super young kids, their moms and pops, senior people- everyone enjoying what they were eating. if you want some inexpensive, tasty chinese food, this is a good bet. also the staff was super busy with the non-stop constant crowd but just kept efficiently doing what they neeed to do. anyone who rags that restaurant staff shouldn't get $15 an hour minimum, would never be able to keep up with the pace and activity the busy staff here was enduring. it's definitely a tasty clean spot for chinese food in the area. i've gotta return to palmdale a few times to finish a job... and would happily come eat here again! read more

I visited this location today to pick up my mobile order. When I arrived, my order was not ready. That is not the issue. The issue is that, when I arrived, I overheard a conversation between the staff that they had accidentally given someone someone else's order. The staff stated that they put the wrong ticket on an order and it was given out. A few minutes later, a gentleman came in and stated that he was missing two drinks from his order. When the staff noticed the man, they realize he was the person they gave the wrong order to. They informed him of this and asked him to bring back the order. They were happy by this revelation. The man brought back the order. They then placed the ticket with my name on it on this order. The staff then asked me again for my name and then I was given this order. The staff did not acknowledge the situation. The staff did not apologize. Due to it being 40 minutes before closing and me having a large order. I did not ask them to remake the order. I previously worked in the fast food industry for 5+ years. At every restaurant I worked at, policy was always that, if food leaves the kitchen and is returned, it has to be thrown away. It does not matter if the food has been opened or not, it was always required to be thrown away. I do not know why that was not done in this situation. Thankfully, the food was good, but I do not think I will be coming back to the store anytime soon. If they could've at least acknowledge the mistake they made, I would've felt better about the ordeal. They saw me there the entire time and saw that I saw the entire ordeal and never acknowledged it. The quality of panda has gone down, and it'sso greasy. Now it makes make stomach hurt. But today I was craving a small side of rice, and don't trust the Chinese restaurants around here. They didn't gave a small so had to get a medium. They rice quality is lower now like harder and dryer. The taste was ok and it was nice and hot. It was $5.07 including tax. Came on 10/15/25 around 3:30-3:35...The place was empty expect maybe 2 tables, arrived and noticed some of the sides looked a little old but I hadn't ate all day so I stayed. I came into this Panda Express in Palmdale, CA off 45th and Ave. S on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 10:30 AM, along with my son and grandson. We came into town from a 30 minute distance away just to enjoy a bright savory fresh off the grill fresh smelling Panda's food we are so familiar with. They had just opened 1/2 hour prior to us getting there and there were only two customers ahead of us and there wasn't any of the usual grilling scent they usually have or had cooked anything at all in the restaurant. After ordering, we opened the foam container's & found that the food was half warm and half cold, mushy-like and looked as though the food had been leftovers from the day before. The food tasted saltier than usual, my favorite king-pao chicken was dry, salty, dull and darker tone and looked as leftovers look after they've been refrigeratored from the day before & they lacked that fresh-grilled taste and smell. Why was food cold & slightly warm in some parts if they had just been cooked, and on warmer? I don't usually come to Panda's at this time in the morning, but I was under the impression that they'd have freshly made food since we were early enough & they had just opened. We were all very hungry and tried to eat what we had ordered, but even as hungry as we were, we totally lost our appetite & were very disappointed. An hour after we ate there, all 3 of us had stomach aches. The food was not fresh at all at this time of the morning. I actually feel repulsed when I think of the food at Panda Express now. Still feeling sick today after 3 hours. I don't want to complain to the owner/manager, but I'm sure that they already know that they are saving the food from the day before and feeding it to their customers the next day. I don't frequent this location, but I've been there a few times within the past two years. The line inside can be long, sometimes wrapped around the inside. Unfortunately, there's no drive-thru. But the food is always excellent and the line moves quickly enough. My wife and I recently ordered and paid for our first pick-up from this location using the Panda app. It was convenient: she was able to walk in, head straight to the register, get the food, and get out within about a minute. The order was correct, the food excellent, but...no fortune cookies! Oh well. Now that the pick-up option went well, we're more likely to frequent this location. read more

I had been here before years ago, but came again today with a friend. The place was clean and the young lady who helped me was very nice. She immediately knew that all the meat has gluten, which was a total bummer for me since I'm GF by necessity. Even the veggies had been sautéed with soup, which may or may not have gluten. I got some brown rice for $3 and my friend got a bowl with chicken and chow mein. Bernice rang us up and she was so nice! After I had been there for a while with my friend I needed to use their restroom. Their RRs were locked so I waited by them for a few minutes. We had an order with a total of 10 plates With the order been placed with 2 hours in advance to make sure everything was accurate and how we wanted it . Following all of the Covid 19 expectations we arrived to pick up food . First of all the lady who handed me the food had an attitude from the beginning ( not to mention she was the manager) her name is JESSICA. She didn't approach to us and was been rude out of nowhere . I order kids meal which included soda , online menu was not allowing to choose anything besides water bottle , once I arrived I explained the situation and she immediately rejected explaining or whatsoever and didn't want to change the drink (this was before we even touched the bags). I let that passed,I asked to double check my order to make sure it was correct and for condiments and utensils because I didn't want to come back . She immediately demanded my husband and I to get out of the restaurant. We didn't want to act immature as she was acting we stepped out and checked the order outside. Orders were half way the portion some plates had more some very little it was the WORST. I asked her to verify the plates and she was mad arguing that it was the portion etc She acted like our business didn't matter to her , she didn't offer a replacement to fix the mistake, or an alternation. 10 PLATE ORDER DIDNT MATTER TO HER.NOTHING AT ALL , she RUINED MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY BRUNCH . . Make sure you check your food order BEFORE leaving, because more times than not it will most likely be incorrect or have something missing. I tend to place pick-up orders through DoorDash, and it is truly unfortunate that they tie the bag up with a knot so you can't open it to check. I recommend you tear the bag if you have to to check your order. There is nothing worse than getting all the way home to see an incorrect order or something missing all together. And take note of whomever has an ATTITUDE with you when you return to have your order corrected and report them to Corporate; because this location is good about giving you the attitude for their mistake(s). Completely disappointed. I feel bad for the food deliverers that can't open and check the orders because it's not their fault the employees at Panda can't seem to do their job efficiently. I usually love coming here but with my last two orders not so much. I order online and go pick it up. I look at my bag and I ask if there are fortune cookies and the girl at the register rudely says "everything is on top" and walked away. This is the second time I did not have fortune cookies, and it's not like the employees make them by hand, so there shouldn't be an issue. We had visited the restaurant shortly before closing and ordered. Due to the pandemic today, the service was delayed as expected but not too badly. When we arrived home, we notice that one of the meal orders was missing and another was incomplete. After calling and speaking with a worker, we were told to come in on the following day and the food would be replaced for us. Since this type of food is usually distributed between a few people, we split what we had and divvied it up for the evening meal. Upon arriving the next day, we were told what only the missing and incorrect items would be replaced, to which we eventually conceded to accepting that we'd get whatever they give us. After returning home and noticing that the bags felt a bit heavier. To our surprise, the restaurant was gracious enough to replace the entire order to keep their customers happy. Lately I've been seeing this due to the social distancing, and everyone lending a hand, but this has been seen less and less. The main issue I had my previous time at this location is the less than average serving of an item. Because of the pandemic, as your order, they are serving your plate, and you cannot see what they are doing. This last time they served me all green beans and one piece of chicken, and on the second item, I got two strips of beef with my broccoli. It's a 9 dollar plate.
