It has to be against ADA regulations that the front door where the handicap parking spots are located, was locked at least an hour before closing. In addition, almost ALL of the seating inside and out were not accessible! They had all the outdoor seating locked up, more than 3/4 of the restaurant's seating inside were put away, and roped off, so the customers could not sit down and enjoy their food. There was a problem with using the app last time, he wanted to use a coupon, instead they unilaterally decided to take away his points, and the employees yelled at him when he told them that wasn't what he wanted to do. They said there was nothing they would do to fix it. Their sign on the window states they have new hours, open until 10pm, but as I stated, they were practically all shut down. Many previous reviews seem like they're written by entitled jerks. I come here every once in awhile for my kids . The place is always a long line but it moves decently quick. Why go to a fast food if you're in a hurry? I've never gotten that. Fast food means it's cooked fast . Not grab and go. Grab and go is more like a deli inside savemart . Anyways , there are quite A few new employees here , they're all polite and quick. Food always tastes good , quality is there . I was informed that they had just clocked out. A young lady named Izzy came to speak with me and refused to answer my direct questions. She reluctantly gave me a phone number to call. There was no concern, no temps were checked on the food line and no food was checked or thrown out. When calling the number the next morning I kept getting shuffled to a hold message. After waiting 2.4 hours on hold I have filed a formal complaint with the department of environmental resources. (food safety). We will never be using this location again. This is the worst managed Panda Express I've ever been to. CONSISTENTLY out of food and always at least a 10-15 minute wait after ordering. Management is either non-existent or incompetent. I tried a online order so that I wouldn't have to sit there waiting 10-15 minutes after I ordered for my order to be ready. Guess what? With a 40 minute lead-time my order was still 10 minutes late because SURPRISE!! They were out of food!! Your efforts to reduce food waste cost you a customer, bravo! If management is unaware of these problems after all the reviews then THEY are the problem. Stay away unless you have time to waste. Employees are very rude! A few nights ago my fiance and I went in 2 hours before they closed and they had no food out or cooking. We had to wait 20 mins just to find this out. Last 2 times i've gone to this place they have messed up. First time didnt give me the right size in the containers, Second time they text its ready get it while its hot and fresh , sent my grandson in to get order and made him sit there 15 minutes because they said order wasnt ready. When i went in to see why it was taking him so long he tells its not ready yet, girl comes up with bag and says ohhh she didnt see it there on shelf. After placing an order for the family we received a call letting us know they were out of steamed/white rice. We compromised and went forward with the changes to 3 of the 4 meals. Got home with our meals and the following happened Side order of fried rice missing, I was charged for it. The meals side dishes had 1-2 pieces of the meat and the rest was just sauce and overcooked veggies. Teriyaki sauces were gelatinous, cold as if they came out of the fridge or were a couple of days old. Very disappointed. I called but no resolutions to the issues I sure hope when I speak to the manger I get a credit for the missing side dish a credit was offered however I do not think I will be returning to this location. I don't see a lot of people reviewing on fast food places without leaving a bit of negativity. Honestly, I don't see much of a reason to either, the notable reviews are usually the bad ones in fast food chains l. I figured I'd lighten up on all the 'meh' reviews. I only frequent a Panda Express when I'm on a work break or I have no idea the quality of other authentic Chinese restaurants nearby. Modesto isnt my favorite place to try out new places every now and then because of mix reviews, so today I decided to play it 'safe' and hit this location up. There is an obvious line that stays consistent at this location: a lot of foot traffic here. So the wait time is going to be a factor if you're looking for fast fast food haha. What I like to keep in mind is that folks who work here are working part-time, minimum wage entry jobs. Getting upset over the need for them to make more food seems pretty ridiculous to me. The staff today worked as fast as they can for the food turn around, which was cool because i knew the selection I chose was fresh and hot. Collectively I waited ten minutes for the entire exchange. There were probably six people ahead of me. The lady who seemed like the manager was working on a huge to go over that seemed to take up a bit of her focus but it was alright since it seemed she made a mistake and remedied it before getting to my order. I appreciate that kind of thing. The place is cleanly and not shabby at all! Ended up eating my to-go order in house. The same lady who seemed like a manager walked around to clean and greet everyone there (even though some people didn't realize she was saying hello.. probably her second English was lost on them) Staff keeps busy even after a rush. It was Saturday night at 9:15pm which makes it 45 minites to close and they HAD NOTHING. NO veggies. NO steam rice. NO Teriyaki Chicken. There was a long line behind us. The staff were rude to each other which made it a super awkward environment. I went ahead and picked from what was available and when the young man was giving my orange chicken the older lady staff yelled at him saying " you are giving her too much" in front of everyone which in my eyes she should not be doing that in front of customers.
