Many previous reviews seem like they're written by entitled jerks. I come here every once in awhile for my kids . The place is always a long line but it moves decently quick. Why go to a fast food if you're in a hurry? I've never gotten that. Fast food means it's cooked fast . Not grab and go. Grab and go is more like a deli inside savemart . Anyways , there are quite A few new employees here , they're all polite and quick. Food always tastes good , quality is there . I wish panda would allow more than a scoop for things but thats business part . I witnessed an interaction between a live Karen in action fri December 3 around 4:30 pm ish. She kept changing her words and mixing up the servers . I could tell she was trying to get free things. Employees Ll stayed calm and cool. She kept yelling even after they asked her to please be respectful. They'd till served her and she went on her way. But if There's a review here from her , she's a nut . The employees were working hard and just trying to do their job. I feel for anyone in SERVICE jobs during this time. Keep up the good work to all the food service employees out there !!! read more

It has to be against ADA regulations that the front door where the handicap parking spots are located, was locked at least an hour before closing. In addition, almost ALL of the seating inside and out were not accessible! They had all the outdoor seating locked up, more than 3/4 of the restaurant's seating inside were put away, and roped off, so the customers could not sit down and enjoy their food. There was a problem with using the app last time, he wanted to use a coupon, instead they unilaterally decided to take away his points, and the employees yelled at him when he told them that wasn't what he wanted to do. They said there was nothing they would do to fix it. Their sign on the window states they have new hours, open until 10pm, but as I stated, they were practically all shut down. Mostly old food, and I could tell they would not have made fresh food if asked, so we opted to leave. Do yourself a favor, go to the one in Ceres. read more

Just left this Panda. I ordered a bigger bowl didn't get the extra side. I asked if I could try the new protein shrimp they said no samples; fine. As I saw the lady scraping the bowl for veggies I told her I could wait for a new batch since the majority was veggies she said no need we only serve 6 shrimp. So rude lacks customer service. Never going again! read more

I'm still hungry! And I'm disappointed. What happened? This location was good, it's gone downhill and soon too go out of business. Why so little food on all their plates and bowls? I don't eat much, I'm not a whiner but dude's! put some food on the plates. For the 40 bucks I laid down I should be at somewhat satisfied...right. The plate and two bowls maybe came to about 2 1/2 pounds. I'm no mathematician but isn't that a lot for fast food Chinese food. I'm all for portioning but come on Panda Express. I used to visit this location a lot. During last summer. It was great food while some Asian cooks were there. They knew how to cook the food well. Well management keeps changing cooks so the food is Sometimes not cooked thoroughly. It is a little hard and too salty and taste less. Do not go at night. Crew is extremely rude, especially lady by the name of Gabriela. She thinks she's the prevention security guard of the Place. She will give you hard Looks if she doesn't like the way you order your food or how you say things to the employee that's serving you-Meaning you're actually telling the person what you want and how much of it you want and asking when the food you want will be ready. I was told by Her that actually she was really extremely rude to me. I had to call corporate on her to complain. I've never in my life had well a couple of times that level of rudeness, but she took the cake was telling me lecturing me as if I was a 15 year-old. I am not at all a teenager. I told her that I didn't appreciate her tone with me. She never apologized and she said never come back like if that was her restaurant! Like if she owned it? I think it's too bad for Panda to hire people like that because combination of bad customer service and bad food. Will keep clients away. It's just a matter of time. I am never going back there just to get food, that's taste less and then Plus. You gotta pay for bad customer service. I mean it's outrageous. So I'm warning you If you go to this location at night, the crew is tired and they won't help you or they will. But they'll let you have it. We'll give you a bad attitude. Bad customer service. I would give this location ZERO STARS IF I COULD. read more

Worst place ever. They had my food sitting there and cashier didn't even gave it to me. it was getting cold and no one bothered to apologize nor appreciate me. I left unhappy. They are very stingy with their portions. That's why I don't hardly ever go to this location, and they rushed through there lines.

I ordered through door dash. I ordered the plate with two sides. First of all, my rice was hella hard like little pellets, my orange chicken was dried out and my broccoli beef appeared stewed. So y'all don't care about the quality of the food you serve in person or through the delivery app? I'm always down for giving good reviews but y'all out of pocket. I paid $20 for some shit that probably stayed out all day and was at the very bottom of the dish. Management needs to get involved to ensure that the food is always fresh. Obviously y'all don't give a damn. Invest in quality, plain and simple. I definitely won't be returning. I will invest my next move in making a corporate complaint. And yelp out of pocket for allowing any stars to be added when you aren't happy with a business's service. I should call y'all corporate office too. read more

Chow mein was 80% cabbage and tasted strongly of mold. I attempted to call the store but no one ever picked up. When I returned to the location I asked to speak with the manager on duty. I was informed that they had just clocked out. A young lady named Izzy came to speak with me and refused to answer my direct questions. She reluctantly gave me a phone number to call. There was no concern, no temps were checked on the food line and no food was checked or thrown out. When calling the number the next morning I kept getting shuffled to a hold message. After waiting 2.4 hours on hold I have filed a formal complaint with the department of environmental resources. (food safety). We will never be using this location again. The employees do not have time for customers and seem to think it is a burden to speak with them. read more

Horrible service and super long wait. Rude. Find another place to eat. Food was cold.

This is the worst managed Panda Express I've ever been to. CONSISTENTLY out of food and always at least a 10-15 minute wait after ordering. Management is either non-existent or incompetent. I tried a online order so that I wouldn't have to sit there waiting 10-15 minutes after I ordered for my order to be ready. Guess what? With a 40 minute lead-time my order was still 10 minutes late because SURPRISE!! They were out of food!! Your efforts to reduce food waste cost you a customer, bravo! If management is unaware of these problems after all the reviews then THEY are the problem. Stay away unless you have time to waste. Don't bother reaching out to me because I don't even want free food. Go into this location and watch what is going on, especially after 8pm. read more

Employees are very rude! A few nights ago my fiance and I went in 2 hours before they closed and they had no food out or cooking. We had to wait 20 mins just to find this out. Then on 9/28/21 we went in and the cashier was extremely rude, I didn't have a mask on she begins to argue with me about it, 7 other people had no mask on in the building but was not asked to put on a mask. (Some people was eating but others was not). I will not be returning to this location possibly others as well. read more

I ate 2 pieces of shrimp, 1 piece of chicken, and a piece of kale, a piece of broccoli and 2 pieces of cabbage... And found out I was shorted shrimp. L They piled on the honey chicken and topped it with a lil bit of honey shrimp to save money. But they charge extra for the shrimp? This is why I don't eat panda anymore. Panda did it once again. There must be shrimp shortage due to COVID. My entree boxes are half full. After placing an order for the family we received a call letting us know they were out of steamed/white rice. We compromised and went forward with the changes to 3 of the 4 meals. Got home with our meals and the following happened Side order of fried rice missing, I was charged for it. The meals side dishes had 1-2 pieces of the meat and the rest was just sauce and overcooked veggies. Teriyaki sauces were gelatinous, cold as if they came out of the fridge or were a couple of days old. Very disappointed. I called but no resolutions to the issues I sure hope when I speak to the manger I get a credit for the missing side dish a credit was offered however I do not think I will be returning to this location. I realize stuff is happening everywhere but this location used to consistently be very good. Unfortunately not so much anymore read more

I don't see a lot of people reviewing on fast food places without leaving a bit of negativity. Honestly, I don't see much of a reason to either, the notable reviews are usually the bad ones in fast food chains l. I figured I'd lighten up on all the 'meh' reviews. I only frequent a Panda Express when I'm on a work break or I have no idea the quality of other authentic Chinese restaurants nearby. Modesto isnt my favorite place to try out new places every now and then because of mix reviews, so today I decided to play it 'safe' and hit this location up. There is an obvious line that stays consistent at this location: a lot of foot traffic here. So the wait time is going to be a factor if you're looking for fast fast food haha. What I like to keep in mind is that folks who work here are working part-time, minimum wage entry jobs. Getting upset over the need for them to make more food seems pretty ridiculous to me. The staff today worked as fast as they can for the food turn around, which was cool because i knew the selection I chose was fresh and hot. Collectively I waited ten minutes for the entire exchange. There were probably six people ahead of me. The lady who seemed like the manager was working on a huge to go over that seemed to take up a bit of her focus but it was alright since it seemed she made a mistake and remedied it before getting to my order. I appreciate that kind of thing. The place is cleanly and not shabby at all! Ended up eating my to-go order in house. The same lady who seemed like a manager walked around to clean and greet everyone there (even though some people didn't realize she was saying hello.. probably her second English was lost on them) Staff keeps busy even after a rush. I applaud this place Oh food? Food is about the same as any Panda Express. That's not going to change much at all haha. But I enjoyed my visit. read more

It was Saturday night at 9:15pm which makes it 45 minites to close and they HAD NOTHING. NO veggies. NO steam rice. NO Teriyaki Chicken. There was a long line behind us. The staff were rude to each other which made it a super awkward environment. I went ahead and picked from what was available and when the young man was giving my orange chicken the older lady staff yelled at him saying " you are giving her too much" in front of everyone which in my eyes she should not be doing that in front of customers. I am not sure if this is a corporate issue about not cooking more food past a certain hour but I have seen the same situation in pretty much every Panda Express. read more

Last 2 times i've gone to this place they have messed up. First time didnt give me the right size in the containers, Second time they text its ready get it while its hot and fresh , sent my grandson in to get order and made him sit there 15 minutes because they said order wasnt ready.
