I just wanna say that after my visit tonight to Panda Express, I will never be back again during dinner rush, usually we stop by in the morning or around lunch when staff is amazing and attentive... tonight was just awful. Multiple times I watched the "manager" go outside and smoke while leaving the rest of staff and not care. My husband walked outside and said he could hear her on the phone "fuck all them, the don't know how hard I work " all I have to say is ALL OF YOU NEED TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT VALUES YOU!! Panda Express is not that place! This manager does not care about any of you!! It's not hard to tell at all that she takes you all for granted!! From what I hear it's very cult like. I know a previous GM and she states they are connected to landmark(landmark forum look it up) and that they tell you how to speak, tear you down and want you to conform to cult like practices before any advancement is allowed. She states she was even told "panda first family second!" So all in all maybe it's time to boycott Panda Express altogether as a community and let them know we don't agree.i would never allow my kids to work there. Makes sense why they pay so much now... Any previous employees that can confirm this please do. Tonight I was actually worried about all employees there. Panda was my favorite place to eat in Helena just yesterday.... I literally attempted to go through the drive through 3 days in a row the past 3 days only to be told they were out of my vegan Beyond orange chicken and that they were getting a new shipment in today (Friday)... went over there today with my family excited for my favorite vegan meal only to be told that this location was discontinuing the vegan chicken permanently!!! I can't begin to express my disappointment!! I have been told dozens of times that they were out of the Beyond orange chicken and I hung in there time and again with the understanding that beyond orange chicken about 50% of the time was better than no beyond orange chicken.... And if they really ran out of the dish as much as they did, I would assume that means they sold and sold out of it quite often, right? And why lie to me three days in a row? RUDE!! Hell, they only just started selling the vegan Beyond option a few months ago... I'm really getting SICK of being a vegan in Helena. It was pretty good! Standard Panda Express. They do have a drive thru which is unique for people who haven't eaten at a lot of Panda Express establishments. I called 10 minutes before closing and when I arrived 2 minutes before closing the door was locked and they asked me to do drive thru. It was standard good! read more

Helena now has a drive thru Chinese Restaurant! They seem to be off to a great start. Very busy when I stopped by, but not too long of a wait. The crew was really hustling in the kitchen. The service is cafeteria style with a limited menu. (12 different entrees) I got a Family Feast; 3 entrees and 2 sides for $30. Fried Rice and Chow Mein were my side choices. For entrees, We had the Beef Broccoli, which was tasty. The grilled Teriyaki Chicken was good, and was a nice amount for an entree. A tad dry, but it came with a sauce. Also I had a 20 mile drive before we ate, so the food had cooled off some. The Orange Chicken wasn't the best I have had, but it was better than the usual Montana fare. I liked the Chow Mein but did not try the rice. Over all, a decent meal for less than $10 per serving. Next time, I want to try the shrimp and steak dishes, which cost a bit more, but looked really delicious. read more

I'm tired of Panda Express not having the right amount of food ready for lunch and dinner crowds. There is no reason to be out of rice and chow mien consistently. The food is decent for fast-food Chinese, but the service is slow, causing for the line to snake throughout the restaurant. The restaurant is a mess with trash bins overflowing and trash piled on tables. Their seating is limited, and the trash covered tables only make the situation worse. Unsanitary Panda. Witnessed an employee drop there glove on the ground, pick it up, shake it off and start handling uncooked food with the dirty glove! Reported this to the manager and he just shrugged me off, like who cares. My mushroom chicken was cold and the fried rice was 20% hard uncooked rice. Didn't want to tell the manager who doesn't care about cleanliness, why would he care about the food he serves. Need new management here read more

I've always been treated will at Panda Express and that theme continues. I went through the drive thru here a couple nights ago and the gal was super friendly and triple checked I got what I wanted. They weren't real busy and made some pleasant conversation at the window and she gave me an extra cookie (maybe by accident but I choose to think otherwise). read more

Went inside the store to order and it took 30 mins to get service. There were 7 individuals working behind the counter and only one person was split taking walk in customer orders and making other drive up orders. No one else would help the customers walking in and there was a line out the door! When I asked if anyone else could help take orders, because the guy that WAS HELPING...left and didn't come back I was told they were short handed!? With 7 people working behind the counter, helping only drive through customers and carry out customers!! I guess walk in customers don't matter!! read more

Waited forever to get one of the entrees. Got no apologies from employees. Actually finished meal by time entree came out.

Finally Montana gets good Chinese food! Freshly made and delicious! I highly recommend Panda Express. They used to be okay mall food but up their game by making their food with fresh ingredients. I love the shrimp and walnut dish and the chicken and asparagus. Yum! read more

I love their food! Tastes great, usually in and out pretty quickly, and the staff is always so courteous. My only complaint which is becoming a big one is that almost every time I order to go, I get home and something is missing from my order that I have paid for and is on my receipt. I live twenty minutes away so I can't just drive back for it. So I have to dig through and check my bag before I leave now. read more

I entered the drive thru just before 7 on a Sunday night. When I pulled in there were 4 vehicles in front so I figured the wait would not be that bad. About 25 minutes later I was placing my order. The staff were very pleasant. I got up to the window to pay about 10 minutes later and the staff asked if I wanted the walnut shrimp I had ordered, it would take 6 minutes longer. I answered yes, but inside I thought really 6 minutes??? I have been waiting over 30 minutes, what's another 6 minutes. Well after 10 more minutes the staff gave me a free pop and had me pull around and wait in front of the restaurant. While waiting there I saw 4 more cars get there food and head home. I ended up waiting 55 minutes to get from the drive thru line to getting my food. I do have to say that the food was really tasty! And the staff were really nice, but I am not going to wait that long for it again! read more

This has to be the worst chinese I have EVER eaten. Honestly, the flavor wasn't bad on the teriyake chicken - but my entire household was sick for 3 days after eating there. The trash bins were overflowing, the floor was sticky, our table was sticky...not to mention the fact that the wash rag used to "clean" the counter came in contact with my plate as well a my husbands. I've eaten here a bunch of times since opening and it's always delicious. Have always used the drive thru. Tonight went inside with my mom and after ordering discovered we had no money or payment method with us (uggh) The couple in front of us without missing a beat said "We'll pay for them" Before we could say anything the Manager came over and paid for our meal and gave the couple 20% off and free drinks for being so kind. Some days it's great and affordable - other days you drive up after they are open at 11 and are told "we are running late and no food will be ready until between noon and one" (one to two hours after this chain restaurant is supposed to be open and selling food) 6/25 11:09am the young woman I encountered (her name started with an M - Miranda, Marisa, something like that) was very rude and totally unapologetic. Super delicious food! Descent seating, even the chairs have cushions. Food is very reasonably priced for what you get. ($17 for my wife and I) The only downside is that it took about 20 minutes standing in line before we got to order. Nonetheless the employees were friendly, the cooks were having a fun time cooking and everyone was working hard getting the orders out. read more

Best Chinese food in town. I go once every two weeks. I almost always use the drive through and have had excellent service. There have been times they were really busy and it was a bit of a wait but the staff make up for it. One girl in particular I think her name is Deedee is normally in drive through and is always super friendly and efficient. read more

This place has fairly good food but forgets the sauce all the time on everything that you order online The Majority of the time! Kinda hard to have Teriyaki Beef when there is no sauce, that just makes it dried beef that you get and that isn't very good at all. If you go in to eat your likely to not get what you want because most of the time they are just out or their stuff has been out too long and just tastes rubbery. When I first started going here they'd be amazing and never forgot the sauce when I'd order online and now it's basically EVERY TIME I ORDER ONLINE they forget the sauce for EVERYTHING. Highly recommend Jade Garden over anywhere in town for the same type of food. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore because their service is just sell sell sell not actually getting the customer what they want when they order it! Even said in the note they give to NOT FORGET THE SAUCE and they still did EVERY TIME! I would go back IF they actually gave me the sauce ALL the time when I order online but they ripped me off too many times by not giving me the sauce for my items. read more

Food taste is good considering it is a fast food Chinese restaurant. It isn't gourmet and we don't intend it to be, however, you can have the best food but if the service sucks then the experience is in the toilet! This has been the case the last 3 times we have been there! The family feast is 3 entrees and 2 sides in the larger red pagoda boxes. It's great for the nights you are running late and just want to grab food to go. However,,,, when you order and pick from what is available in the line then they put the boxes back to the back for the "chef to make fresh". What is in the line??? Isn't that fresh?? The past 3 times we have patiently waited for 20-45 minutes while countless others walk in behind us and order the bowls and are served immediately and apparently are getting "not fresh" food. Each time the manager is going to be notified to rectify the situation without any call or acknowledgement. Recommendation,,,, order the "not fresh" because the "fresh" isn't fast food just mediocre food that could have been replaced by great Jade Garden across the street for only a couple dollars more. read more

The food is fine. Not expecting gourmet, and they deliver fresh, well prepared oriental/American fast food as advertised. But seriously, the manager needs to pay attention to the dining area. It's a pigsty. This isn't a single instance, but what I've seen over several visits at different times of the day. The drink stand is usually out of essentials like napkins.
