Honey Sesame Chicken (yum) and Beef & Broccoli
    Dee W.

I had lunch from Panda Express about a week ago from the location in Falls Church. The young lady that took my order was polite and efficient. I like this location as there is a drive thru. I had the meal with two entrees: beef and broccoli and honey sesame chicken which was really good. I just wish they would bring back the apple pie egg rolls. Solid lunch, decent price.

Large Dr Pepper with hardly any syrup. It tastes like carbonated mess.

The food was mostly good. The portions were skimpy. I got the 3 plate with side. The beef and broccoli had very small portion of beef and an over abundance of broccoli. My soda had no flavor. It was mostly carbonated water and just enough syrup to color the water.

    Nice presentation !

All I can say Panda Express came a long way ! Quality of food is way better than before ! Delivered on time !

The big bowl with 3 entrees. I don't know about you all but this doesn't look like small portions...

I got what i needed, but it didn't scratch the Chinese food craving. Service was good for a fast food joint, but the food just didn't do it for me. Lost of flour, sugar, and carbs, and wasn't satisfying. I wish I could get a refund on the calories, they can keep the money.

It's a panda express. I will say this one has never given me food poisoning like some others I've been to! The location is a little hard to get into, and they have many mobile orders that they prioritize in stead of current customers. All that being said, I do feel like this is one of the best panda expresses in the area ! They keep it very clean, and the food is prepared well.

This is the plate, they sent me a small one

I've ordered from here lots of times one times I forgot the orange chicken I was told I can pick it up later why today I ordered a large plate pay $27 for delivery two got a small plate very little rice very little chow mein and the broccoli only have broccoli three pieces of meat. I'm gonna have to stop ordering out.

The prices are quite good and the portions are generous. I had a full second meal the next day without trying. I got the Yangzhou fried rice and it was very well executed. The meat inside was excellent, with what tasted like lap cheong or a similar Chinese sausage. The egg was fluffy, not burnt, nicely moist, and evenly distributed. Everything tasted fresh and balanced, with real depth of flavor. This is fried rice done properly. The other dish was listed as spicy fried chicken or something, though it was basically a la zi ji. It was excellent. I loved the peppers, and the spices were very aromatic. The frying was done well, clearly cooked in plenty of oil, so not exactly light food, but extremely satisfying. The chicken was crisp and flavorful, and the overall execution was strong. The food came out fast, the prices were low, and the quality was high, and service was good. This is an authentic Hong Kong-style place, not fancy or polished, but clearly focused on getting the food right. Five stars. I definitely want to come back.

The price of the duck has reached a point that is no longer affordable. All other dishes prices continued to increase even though they are always just subpar. On this most recent trip, the duck was good, the Joe-yen shrimp portion is a bit less but the price has increased. The Shiitake with baby bok choy was good but not enough Shiitake. The usually dependable Shrimp fried rice was horrible. Not stir fried completely and no wok taste. Just bland like I can cook it at home. Sadly, that will be my last visit to this institution. Their answer to slower traffic seems to be raising the price and decreasing portions. 6 fried dumplings cost $16. Almost $3 a dumpling. That is price of an entree for 6 dumplings. One last note, I tried to eat my left over duck today and they did not even pack any hoisin sauce for me! How does one eat a Peking duck with no hoisin sauces?

My friend is craving dim sum after being in the country, visiting from Hong Kong for 3 weeks. My friend is quite tan, his mom is Filipino, but he grew up in HK and speaks mostly canto and Tagalog. We tried speaking Cantonese to the staff who are speaking it to each other, so they clearly can. My friend has perfect Cantonese. Mine is ok but I am also very clearly Chinese. They replied in broken English instead. One waitress looked at my friend and handed us forks. So clearly, some racism/colorism in the staff. Context: lots of Filipinos in HK are maids and generally looked down on, so not surprised this happened here. The food was mushy and gross. The shrimp in the cheung fan was grayish. It felt like they had this ready early in the morning and reheated it for later. Siu mai was falling apart. Cha siu bao was good but how do you mess that one up? I've gotten take out from this place before in the past and I always forget why I try to not come here, they forget something every time. At this point I'm sure they're doing it on purpose, like little thieves. Anyway, this place has the advantage of being close, with so little dim sum options in the area, unless you want to make the trip to Tysons or Vienna. Or Maryland. One staff member was laying down on a bunch of chairs nearby loudly watching something on her phone. Any other day, I wouldn't complain about that, everyone deserves a break. But given the food quality and the clear racism in the staff, they should be called out for everything. As with any Asian restaurant, feel free to treat me like trash if the food is good. But this place fails in both places.

I'm not sure if they changed the recipes or got a new chef, but the food just didn't taste the same. The salty fish fried rice was way too salty.
