I placed a to-go order yesterday for two Bigger Plates. Each Bigger Plate is supposed to include one side and three entrées, but one of my Bigger Plates only had two entrées. I paid for three entrées and only received two. What makes this especially frustrating is that this is not the first time this has happened. I was driving alone, so I wasn't able to check the order before leaving. I only realized an entrée was missing once I got home, making it impossible to have the issue corrected right away. I understand that mistakes happen, but when the same mistake happens more than once, it becomes a quality control issue. Customers shouldn't have to double-check every order to make sure they're getting what they paid for. I hope management addresses this with the team and takes steps to ensure to-go orders are checked carefully before they're handed to customers. read more

Stopped by for lunch while on a roadtrip through the city. It was fine overall. A few dishes were underseasoned, such as the Beef and Broccoli, Lo Mein, and fried rice. The other dishes came out as expected. I recommend the Beijing beef and kung pao chicken if you can handle spice. The workers were nice and served us quickly. I get it, it's fast food, drive thru Chinese food, very Americanized Chinese food. In Del Rio, as I heard someone say, it's all they've got. My first time trying Panda Express was my last time. I treated my brother and his wife to a lunch, and ordered the beef broccoli, and black angus pepper beef with chow mein as the side for myself. The entrees weren't the worst, but the chow mein was completely sad. Think your box of spaghetti noodle crumbs, tossed with soy sauce for slight color, and a bit of cabbage and celery for your vegetable content. I was not expecting your big city Chinese restaurant quality food, but this wouldn't make it in a mall food court either. I get it, if you're hungry and not a fast food fan, this is an option. I had dinner at Panda Express tonight. It is conveniently located right across Veterans Boulevard from the Del Rio mall. This restaurant is relatively new and so the building was really nice. Panda Express, as a chain, usually has good consistency in their quality, offers a good selection of items entrées, and has reasonable prices. I was not disappointed. I was hungry, so I ordered a plate with two entrées. It was more than I could eat. Of course, I did also order the cream cheese Rangoon which was fresh and delicious. When I arrived there was no one ahead of me and the restaurant was mostly empty, so there was no wait. The person who waited on me was courteous and efficient. For drinks they offer a variety of soft drinks as well as two kinds of ice tea which is fresh brewed. I did not see the restrooms, but the dining room was clean and inviting. I requested a to go box for my leftovers and I was provided a small bowl with a lid which worked perfectly, I enjoyed my meal at Panda Express and believe you will also enjoy going there. read more

This is the worst location under the sun. You could flip a coin to determine if their lobby is open or not. Don't have any expectations when visiting this location. Hardly ever have condiments such as soy sauce or chili sauce. Usually can expect one or two items to be "unavailable". I question if corporate even knows this location exists. This is by far the worst Panda Express I have ever been, protein portions are super small even when you order a plate, they never have a full menu and the fried rice seems to be always undercooked. Not to mention that they kept the covid excuse not to open the dining area anymore. Maybe reaching out to corporate will make this an ok place. read more

This location is extremely inefficient as they don't have orders ready on time. This has happened to me 100% of times I have ordered online. Ordered my food and had to wait for Orange Chicken... which is fine. Upon getting my receipt I noticed they had got my order wrong. Once it was brought out I checked the order and explained to the girl that there had in fact been a mistake. She didn't seem to get it. So I explained again and she started to argue about what I had ordered. She reluctantly took it back to fix my rice. But once she brought it back I saw her curtsying and bowing while the other workers seemed to cheer and applaud her. It leads me to believe they may have tampered with our food. This location only had about six entrees to select from bc of the Covid 19 health quarantine. I ordered a combo of orange chicken & firecracker chicken and both were quite tasty. The firecracker chicken didn't have much heat, though, but their packets of hot mustard & chili sauce made up for oily. The fried rice was also pretty good. read more

Food is ok for fast food, however, you order the chow mein noodles in a bowl with your entree and where are the noodles! Mostly cabbage. How about cabbage with a side of noodles ? Also the kids like the noodles but not the cabbage, why not carry plain noodles ?? Workers are always very courteous and sometimes they take a while. That's really the only complaint. Every time I have been there order is either wrong, or not how it should be. For instance this time. My drinks had no ice in them! Secondly the Beijing beef had like no sauce on it and was more like crunchy dried out meat than decent food. I come her for work and don't have a vehicle so my options on food are limited. The fried rice was bland and tasteless. I asked for beef broccoli and got mostly broccoli . The chicken teriyaki was dry but got sauce on the side. For the same price you can go to China buffet and get all you can eat of many different types of food. Panda Express gives you a bunch of rice which is cheap to fill your plated up. Worst customer service!! Very disappointed with the fact that the employees have very little knowledge of the product they are selling. I had the misfortune of going to Panda Express in Del Rio Texas for lunch today and I emphasize misfortune! There was no food cooked and ready for serving at 12:15 PM today; to me this is unacceptable to call yourselves a restaurant when you serve no food. In addition, your staff is the most uneducated, ill mannered and just totally oblivious for a food establishment. The food is probably the only great thing about this place. The staff is kind of rude and very lazy. I'm a patient person, but every time I get food from here I have to wait so long for them to cook it because they never have food ready. I think 30 minutes for a fast food restaurant is just too long. I thought mobile order and pick up would be faster, but nope. I waited even longer probably. I was standing outside at the mobile order pick up station and nobody was even there to help me. So I rang the bell and was completely ignored. I waited 10 minutes for someone to come and tend to me. I think it's because they're short staffed. But wow. So many cars came in and out of the drive thru while I waited. They also give me very little food. I usually get the bowl and they never fill it up to the top. They mostly give me fried rice or chow mein, too. I get a tiny amount of the actual entree. This location needs a lot of work. I've been to other Pandas in different cities and states and they are far better than this one. Wow!!! The disappointment! Not too sure if it's only a San Antonio thing but after ordering a bowl I received less than half of the bowl full. Mind you the meal was $6. I called to complain and received a free replacement order HOWEVER, I received the SAME AMOUNT of food in my bowl. In San Antonio, the bowl is filled to the TOP. Crap service. Just had such horrible customer service at Panda Express. First, I'm told Rangoons would take an extra five minutes so I cancel that order and drive up. Once at the window, I'm told to park because my spring rolls were going to take 5 minutes. ‍. After 10 minutes of waiting outside I walked in and asked for my order without the spring rolls because I'd waited long enough. All I got from 4 people was blank stares and when I asked for my order again, one of them finally decided to put it in a bag and hand it to me. Not a single apology or pleasantry. Made me wonder if there was even a supervisor present. Horrible, just horrible read more
