Don't freak out when they tell you it's going to be $7 per taco but if you are going to tell me I'm going to get either half or a whole breast I would say bring it,Lol. $7 for a whataburger. Deceptively large. They have a customer service code on the receipt where if you fill out a survey you get a free burger with a purchase. Filled out and bought another 2 to go. Burgers were ok. Better than McD and any corporate fast food outlet. The addition of fresh tomatoes and lettuce puts it above any FF outlet. Best part was the service. I shook the kid's hand after he helped me. I never did in 20y. Very respectful kid. Hope he succeeds in what he does. read more

This has been horrible service. I love Whataburger but I haven't been to this location in forever and now I know why. I ordered and picked up curbside. They handed me my order and I looked 3 bags 3 drinks and a salad. I thought everything was there. Turns out they forgot my order of What-a-wings. I called the store they said come back and we will have them for you. I did this time joining the drive thru. I told them what happened and they parked me. It took nearly 20 minutes to get these wings. Then once I got them they are barely even coated in sauce. read more

Travelled solo this time, and had to have a Whataburger before leaving Texas. Went through the drive-thru for my order, a #1 Whataburger all the way, with jalapeños, fries, and a Coke. How exotic, and the time I sat in the drive-thru line, I could've formed my own hamburger patty, and cooked it. It was about 9 on a Friday night, and like most of Del Rio, there's always more than one car at any fast food drive-thru, but the wait was an oxymoron on the term "Fast food". We stopped here leaving Del Rio for Austin and it was the BEST Whataburger I have ever had. I have eaten at other Wataburger locations but this one had a fresh soft bun, thick fresh tasting hamburger meat, and the lettuce tomatoe & onion had good flavor. The onion rings were in a light fried batter crust and the chocolate shake was like dessert. I am a great cook so we rarely eat out because I am usually disappointed in fast food. Whataburger is probably one of the most visited restaurants in town. The food is always great. The staff is always kind. However, they tend to get people's orders wrong more often than other places. The tables are sometimes a little sticky with some crumbs, but not usually. The bathrooms aren't too shabby either. I just wish they didn't play country music all the time, I'd appreciate more variety. Not my favorite place to eat, but I do enjoy it. read more

What do I like the best about Whataburger? Can I say "everything"? Service is great, even if you come in at 3 a.m. with your drunken humor; somehow the employees seem accustomed to that. I ordered two cheeseburgers with toasted buns today. Once I got home, I realized that the buns were burned. I went back and showed the manager and asked if he could smell the burnt bread. He then responded, "yes I can smell it from here". I asked if that is how he would serve them, and he responded, "that is how the toaster toasts them." He then asked if I would like them lightly toasted. I guess you have to state not burnt just "lightly toasted". I left the the burnt buns. I will not be going back to this Whataburger. Terrible customer service. He should of apologized and replaced the food, not state that is how they come out... burnt. read more
