You never have to look for a staff member if you need them, usually your waitress or waiter is close by. Everything is amazing, I love the Sportsman Plate. The grilled quail and fried frog legs are the best I have ever eaten anywhere! Grilled shrimp is kick ass as are their steaks! They know how to season the meal they cook! Last time we tried the Armadillo Legs and never had any type of popper that came close to their deliciousness! We took Armadillo Legs and Frog Legs home for later since we ate so early. We've been eating at Cripple Creek once or twice a year, on average, for over 20 years. During this time their staff has always remained top notch, hard to believe but if anything they may have gotten better! We're 100 miles away or we would eat there a lot more. Normally we go for our Anniversary and/or birthdays. Go at 5, the earliest, and you will thank me. It's quieter with fewer customers just starting to filter in. Around 6 the crowds are pouring in & they fillup quick with customers waiting outside for a table. The busy crowd doesn't stop until closing time basically, we've seen them have to turn customers away 30 minutes after closing.
