I had a business lunch here with an associate. It had been a while since the last time I'd been to a Chili's. Once we entered I remembered what I wrote on my last review... my opinion and experience was about the same other than I ordered something different from the menu. This is a nice restaurant, well maintained, clean (from what I could see), and with a good variety of menu options. I chose one of their lunch specials: one low price for a main entree (from a limited list), and appetizer, and a drink. I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta and a salad. I didn't enjoy the pasta dish as much as I had hoped... I found it lacking in flavor (just a thin sprinkle of Cajun seasoning on top) and the sauce was a bland, thick, Alfredo. I should have ordered the chicken quesadillas. The salad was good. The service was very good. My only significant issue was the loud music made it very difficult to have a conversation. Background music needs to stay in the background. I got the feeling the employees drive it up for their entertainment. I may return, and order something I know I like... but never again for a business lunch. read more

Dont usually rate chain restaurants unless they were super bad or good. The Staff was above average at this location. Friendly greeting upon arrival, seated quickly, and drink orders done in an impressive time. Place was pretty crowded, but dining area & restrooms were clean. Plenty of parking around the area. Food was also above par as my wife liked her burger, fries were warmish, but she blamed it on my food taken longer to prepare. I did Fajitas, they were good, and I had enough to eat for lunch at the hotel the next day. There was an issue with bill (charged regular price for each item on the trio menu), but our waitress fixed it quickly. One of our better experiences at a Chili's in awhile. read more

The food is always consistent and good, however service is a hit and miss. Part of it could be staffing issues and part of it is just the disarray I believe. On the upside their margaritas are good and fajitas after consistent. Down side is the cleanliness of the restaurant. This last visit I saw them cleaning tables with a dirty rag that sits at the host table. This is but appropriate cleanliness for a restaurant. I went to this restaurant for a late lunch with my husband as we celebrated our anniversary all day. We had the chips and dip and added guacamole. It was very good. I had the chicken enchilada soup and loved it. My husband had the potato soup and said it was not as good as he thought it would be. The highlight of the meal was the waitress, who also worked the bar, and made an awesome strawberry margarita on the rocks. It was the best margarita I'd had in awhile. My husband had the regular margarita on the rocks and loved it. Last but not least, we came to Chili's to use the free dessert offer as part of the birthday month reward. We chose the key lime pie and it was bigger that it looked in the photo and was quite delicious. The service was great and they also had a good military discount. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Bottom line, drive through ANYWHERE has to be better than this place. Their customer service and attention to detail is terrible. We went on Saturday evening at 5:30. We approached the hostess who said she couldn't seat us because she was in training. There wasn't anyone there to help her. We didn't wait long and were seated. We asked our waitress for a paper menu and she said she would bring it. It took her a long time and this should've been our first indication that our experience would be poor. We ordered chips, salsa and 2 beverages. We ordered our dinner, 2 house salads without onions, mango habenero crispers, Mexican corn, fries, margarita chicken with broccoli and black beans. Since it was the 2 for $25 we would get a dessert. Server brings out the drinks. One was wrong so we asked for the correct one. Server brings out salads with onions in it. Back it goes. Our chips and salsa were finished, salads finished and drinks finished. No waitress to be found to check on us or remove our dirty dishes. Server comes out with our meals and they were both cold. Corn was not Mexican corn, but regular corn. I asked to speak with a manager but she never came. Instead a different server came and took our food back to have it heated. She also then brought us new drinks. Food comes out a second time, is dropped and server immediately leaves. Food is cold again! It's like they never did anything. I asked to see a manager again. I was told she was busy and couldn't come out. I asked the new server to take our dishes, requested drinks, boxes and our dessert. The new server brought out boxes and a drink to go, but didn't bring a straw. The manager finally came out and when I explained our service, she said sorry. No attempt to make it right. She said sorry once more and walked away. The previous server came and brought the cheesecake after an additional request. read more

I've ordered here (curbside) three times and my husband and I order and sat outside once. All but one experience was good. I pretty much order the same thing pasta with grilled chicken, add grilled shrimp or Pasta with shrimp add chicken. One of my curb-side orders was missing the shrimp I ordered and paid for. It wasn't until I completed my dinner that I noticed I had chicken, but I didn't have my shrimp! Other than that one time, my experiences have been great here! I went here for dinner on 7/12 while in town on business. I ate at the bar. Had the quesadilla club. It was good. The bartender was very pleasant, attentive, and efficient. There was a crazy dude sitting at one end of the bar, talking to himself and invisible friends. Anytime someone sat down next to him, he'd blather on and on until the person moved. Update: The service has improved significantly--it has achieved acceptable level. My service was really good, and before I left I saw a manager check on the bar patrons. Thoroughly disappointed. The experience started out fine, but when we complained about the burnt nachos, the waitress CiCi shrugged and said, "that's just the way we make it." When we started ordering the entrées, we asked for separate checks. When we were ready to pay and asked for our separate checks, she just said that she didn't do it that way and pointed to the little kiosk to pay. In addition, she didn't use the coupon for the child we had shown her when ordering. She just said she didn't know how to do that. We asked to talk to the manager and she stormed off. She then brought back a check that had the meal removed and said that this is the bill we paid even though the totals were different. I should have read the other reviews. read more

I usually love utilizing this location for business lunches but extremely disappointed in it this week. I ordered a large catering lunch on Monday to be ready on Wednesday at 11:20am. I arrived at 11:35am and it was not ready, nor have they even started working on it. This lunch was for local providers who are busy and expecting their lunch. Why do I even bother to give this place chance after chance. Honestly can't even blame the chain when it's clearly the customer service in this town. Wait time will be forever even for a drink & don't expect anyone to even come by and ask you for your drink unless you have already been sitting there for 20 minutes. Food will finally come out an hour later and be cold but you can't tell anyone because no one even bothers to come by. Then you want to pay you can't even pay cuz the check is wrong and no one will come by. Had to ask twice by going to the front for someone to come by to correct our check. The food is great. The service is very quick and friendly. When I went with my family the server came over, took our orders and never wrote anything down. And there were no mistakes! Chili's is Chili's. Their food is pretty universally reviewed. This review is not about the food. I'm in Del Rio for business and the bartenders made my 3 nights great. All of them were very nice and kept my beer full. I can't speak for the regular servers because I just sat at the bar but my experience was great.
