There's a love and hate relationship with the PE! If you haven't eaten here, it's fast food Asian. Limited menu. The best things on the menu are the Honey Walnut Shrimp, and the Orange Chicken. These are the all time favorites. The restaurant says there isn't a vegan/ vegetarian option other than the rice, and that's due to cross-contamination issues. However, if you are health reason vegan, and not ethical vegan, there are many options available... but you will face probably cross contamination For PE pros, though, be sure to try the Orange Chicken with Bacon! Mind blown! If you are super low carb, you can get the beef with Cabbage! Almost no carbs at all, and it's delicious. The whole menu is hackable! Also, I wish they would bring back the spare ribs! Service was the worst I have seen at this location and don't plan on going back. Went in with a person from my work (who is handicapped and in a wheelchair chair), got in line and waited our turn. Once it became our turn the lady behind the counter asked what we wanted we told her and had to ask questions to clarify what we wanted, then she passed it off bec we were taking too long and started serving the customer behind us this happened three times until the lady working the register had to come down to finish our order and so we could pay and leave. By this point more than five customers behind us had ordered gotten their food, payed, and left. My husband and I recently started going to the Decatur, Texas location, I am a total fan! The staff is wonderful! They are truly invested their customers and the food consistently delicious! The space is roomy. The bathrooms are clean. We visited another location (do not remember where). It was not good. The manager, Jason, is completely invested in his team and customers! Fast food Asian Cuisine. Pretty much like in the mall version. Glass case housing some of the best Asian Dishes. They have dishes like Orange Chicken, Shanghai Angus Steak, Sweetfire Chicken Breast, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, Broccoli Beef and more! For a plate you choose two entrees, then your choice of chow mein noodles or fried rice. They also have egg or spring roll as well as cheese wontons. We were hungry for a meal after being on the road so my husband pulled the big rig right in the adjacent Walmart parking lot. We walked in to a crowded little restaurant. The food attendants were courteous with our order...even let me sample (toothpick style) several entrees. I ordered Broccoli Beef, Honey Walnut Shrimp with chow mein noodles. It was tasty, hot and just the right portion size. My husband ordered Orange Chicken, Grilled Teriyaki Chicken and fried rice. He said it was fresh, seasoned right and given a good portion. He was least impressed with their fried rice. We both agreed that the chow mein noodles were delicious. That will be our choice for future visits. As for me, I love cheese wontons. Most places get it right. Just cream cheese combined with a "hint" of sweetness and deep fried into the four points. Lets just say I wasn't a fan of theirs. I managed to eat one but threw the other two away! Thumbs down Was this an Ace in the hole, top of the tops? No! But it wasn't bad either. The customer service is horrible! Several weeks ago I went to get my favorite orange chicken, egg rolls, rangoons and Angus steak... I was placing my order and was rudely and repeatedly told "we're out of that" I asked for a Manager and was told "there wasn't one" so I asked who was in charge, the girl on the speaker said "I am" . The young lady that gave us our food at the window was very nice, but a bit timid, I told her that I appreciated her kindness, she said "I'm new". I then asked her who I was speaking to at the window, and a girl behind her rudely said "that was me". I told the girl in the window if she was being trained by her, to make sure she didn't treat customers the way "the person in charge" does! So not only was I not able to get what I went for (it should be noted it was around 5pm when went), I was treated with total disrespect! I didn't post this before, but my daughter went today and was not treated very nicely, and go figure... they were out of several items.. was told there was only one egg roll! I hope that the General Manager or owner of this location reads these reviews and takes a serious look at what's going on at this location. My wife and I eat at the Decatur Panda Express whenever we feel like Chinese food. The food is excellent! The service is great! The staff is friendly and courteous! We usually get the "Bigger Meal," which is 3 entrees with rice, and share it. Our bill is very reasonable for the amount of food and two drinks that we get. In fact, it costs us more to get two meals at the local burger places. I definitely recommend this place. I also recommend the "Sweet Fire Chicken Breast" and the new "8 Treasure Chicken Breast." read more

The chicken is chewy and filled with gristle, the veggies and chow mein were under cooked, and the egg rolls were so over done I couldn't chew them. . . I thought maybe it was because they just opened so I waited a while before a return trip. . . all return trips since have been equally unsatisfying. Way too expensive for such poor quality. There has been a noticible increase in the amount of cabbage present in the chow mein. Today I recvd more cabbage than I did chow mein. That's my only issue with this place. Service and food is always great, PLZ DONT PUT SO MUCH CABBAGE IN THE CHOW MEIN!!! read more
