The food here was good and I loved all the options and they had great lunch specials! Also love to have a sushi option actually in Decatur. The outside and inside are a little run down but there's plenty of seating and you can always just order take away. Food came quickly, but other than that the service was pretty slow. Food wise, the only thing I was not a fan of was the egg roll, which came with my lunch plate. The egg roll just tasted like old fryer oil. Ive eaten here a few times, usually at the recommendation of a friend. It seems the basic business here is to-go orders, which took a high priority over our seating. The waitstaff was nice enough, but we were clearly an after thought. Everything seemed the same color: beige. It could be the lighting but nothing seemed very vibrant. We had orders of sesame chicken, orange chicken, and the coconut chicken. Other than the distinct coconut flavor, the sauces were all so similar. The hot and sour soup was okay though! My grand daughter wanted Chinese food and this was closest. I hesitated because reviews were all over the place but we really enjoyed our lunch! The princess had to have a Boba drink and she said it was really delicious. She also loved her orange chicken and noodles. I had the shrimp with vegetables and it was yummy. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the shrimp! The fried rice was not the best I have had but it was good with the entree! I am pretty picky about my egg rolls and we loved theirs! The food came out quickly and was a excellent portion sizes for the money. The service was lacking but I believe it was because of their Covid restrictions. The dumplings were okay but the server did not bring the sauce so we had to ask for it. Good thing because it was the best thing for the entire meal. Soups were hot, steaming hot but that was it. My hot and sour had no spice heat nor sourness. My Wife's wonton was thick and tough, making the soup almost inedible. The entrees were served with steam or fried rice, fried costing $2 more. Steam rice was okay but the fried was terrible. The only thing in the fried rice was soy sauce. No onion, garlic, spices, nothing. Two dollars for what? Orange chicken sauce was very thick and had a slight taste of orange. Chicken was over cooked and stringy. Mongolian beef was terrible. Little beef, mostly veg, no heat or taste. The single worst Chinese meal I've ever had. To top it off, the prices on the menu were no longer accurate, prices were up but no way to tell until you received the bill. What a rip off. The tuna and salmon sashimi were generously large and tasted excellent. Miso soup is out-of-this-world delicious. And the Shrimp Tempura is perfect. Very large shrimp perfectly tempura fried.
