Bowl with lo mein, veggies, and black pepper chicken

I had quite a few hours to kill in the airport today. I actually asked an airline personnel what was the best and cheapest option and they sent me here. Now Yelp has this location listed as terminal E but it's around B20. Not going to pretend there wasn't airport flation on the drinks but the food was priced as normal I feel. I spent 2-3 hours here tucked away in the corner as there are plugs conveniently there. I was able to witness many different airport employees and store employees. Notably the manager here appears to be a nice African American guy. He really goes above and beyond to greet people and circle each station to make sure everything was neat and orderly and really ensure the line moves smoothly. I was rather impressed with how consistently everything flowed here. The food is as to be expected imo but considering the popularity of this location it was probably "fresher" than previous locations I've tried..

Before flying back to Canada, my bro and I decided we had to try some Panda Express just for lols. Sure, this place has always been invoked when it comes to memes of authenticity, but we decided to see if it was really that mid. I think I often take for granted just how good the Chinese food is in Toronto. We ordered up some of that famous orange chicken to see how it would taste. The verdict? It was actually not bad at all! The batter was definitely not crispy which was disappointing, but flavour-wise, the chicken was seasoned well (we could taste ginger very prominently so I'm wondering if part of the recipe calls for this aggressive ginger note). It was cool to try Panda Express for a first time. Do I think I will ever return? If I do, it won't be at an airport LOL.

Around 7:45 pm, the kitchen stopped cooking new batch's. Whatever left, that's what they sell. The portion are less as well.

The food was ok. The noodles didn't have much flavor to them. The chicken was good though! There was a huge line so we were starving by the time we got our food. 2 plates ~ $26

I came to Panda Express to grab a quick bite before my flight. The server seemed a little dazed so I felt a bit weird ordering. I got the chicken and string beans with white rice. It was less flavorful than I expected but hey it's Panda Express. There's food court style seating by the side.

My view of where I sat to try and get this down.

Service was not satisfactory for a regular Panda Express let alone an overpriced airport bar... I'm sorry I left a tip.

Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly and gave us some great recommendations since it was our first time dining there. We tried the following dishes: Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), Gong Bao Pork, and Stir-Fried La Mian with Vegetables. My favorite dishes were the beef dish and the soup dumplings. I would definitely order those again. It was also really nice to see the chef hand-pull the noodles right behind our table, which added to the whole experience. Overall, both the food and service were excellent. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again.

This visit, we hosted family from East Texas who'd been here once before. Starting with delicious Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and Bucks Spare Ribs, we moved on to Ants Climbing Trees (Ma Yi Shang Shu), a classic Sichuan dish of vermicelli cooked with minced pork, in fermented chili sauce, with garlic and green onions, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, crispy bite-size shrimp tossed with green onion, basil, garlic, and jalapeño, and Sichuan Green Beans, stir-fried with garlic, mushrooms, and minced pork. We opted for one order of white rice and one of fried rice with our entrées. The restaurant is almost always packed if you don't have a reservation, but the vibe is relaxed and casual without being loud. In fact, it's so popular, you may have to wait a bit even with a reservation, since they want you to enjoy your meal vs rushing you out to "turn the table."

I don't know if they do this all the time, but it makes me feel special. What make this place extraordinary is the service. I apologize, but I forgot to get her name; long dark glorious wavy hair. She treated me like I was her only customer, even packing my left over jasmine tea in a Togo container. I will enjoy that with my left overs. My displeasure with Fortune House's quality and service is based on repeated experience…read more I don't typically leave negative reviews, especially as someone who is active on Yelp. I would have let this slide if it happened once. I ordered through Uber Eats, and this is now the second time the fried rice I clearly paid for with both entrees was missing from my order. After the first time, I called to let them know, and the response was dismissive. When it happened again, I called again and got the same lack of concern. At that point, it's not a mistake, it's a pattern. At these prices, basic order accuracy and customer service should be a given. As for the food, it's average at best. It doesn't even reach Panda Express level in terms of consistency or flavor, which makes the pricing even harder to justify. I don't see the value here, and based on repeated issues and the lack of accountability, I wouldn't recommend.

Ambiance- 9.5/10 Dim atmosphere with trendy vibes. Cool decor and Jenga to play while waiting for your food. If you don't like dark areas, you can sit outside with umbrellas providing shade. Service- 10/10 Our server was extremely helpful and nice. She recommended excellent dishes and even gave us a plate of chicken wings on the house! Value- 8/10 Good value, especially considering the quality of the food. Most sides were 5-10$, while the entrees were 12-16$. Portions were medium. Food Malaysian Roti- (2 pc, 9.5$)- 9.5/10 Was perfectly flaky and crispy. Came with a flavorful curry dipping sauce. Chili Garlic Edamame- (8$)- 7/10 Everything you would expect. However, it could have more of the chili garlic sauce. They do give you a complementary tray of spicy sauces (including chili oil), so this was not a big deal. Korean Twice Fried Wings- (5 for 14$)- 10/10 Wings were large, so one was the perfect appetizer for a single person. Coated in a heavenly gochujang garlic glaze. Nice and saucy while still being very crispy and juicy. Was my favorite dish we ordered. Pad Thai- (16.5$)- 8.5/10 Came with a fried egg, shrimp, and chicken. Had a hint of spice that elevated it from good to great. Curry Laksa Ramen- (16$)- 9/10 Very flavorful curry broth. Noodles were excellent and also came with tofu and a boiled egg. Overall, every aspect of the resturant was top tier. Would 100% recommend if you are near.

This place is absolutely made for a group outing, and we're already planning to come back with a group to take full advantage. The food was a delight. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal.
