I guess parking is free in this lot at least temporarily. I placed an order of fried rice, chowmein, orange chicken and kung pao chicken. I liked my meal but the chowmein was lacking in flavor. Honestly, things are even worse now; I just ate a single order, and it really upset my stomach--it was really bad....

While the quality of the food was very good, (only because the chicken we got was fresh from the back). The service was slower and very disappointing in the end at payment. I had asked the gentleman to round up the order so I could donate and for the first time I've been declined adding a donation. Who does that? I asked him again, "you can't add the donation? I always do it" The gentleman's response was "I already put the order in." This was in poor taste. While I will be doing Panda Express, I will not visit this location. read more

I saw empty food trays and was already feeling hopeless. The guy behind the counter said if you want something you don't see, ill make it for you!! My smile had just gotten all cheesy. So this was my first time eating at Panda Express! My friend and I were hanging out around University of Maryland's campus and wanted to grab something quick. Luckily, they were still operating with COVID19 still going on. Dining in is closed but they do accept walk-up's when placing your order and prefer online orders for curb-side and pick-up. My quick fix GO To after work! It's always enough for dinner and lunch after having a long day, physically at work. I discovered that going before closing, gets you larger portions and they tend to make more as the crowd piles in, ask me how I know. The staff was patient tonight and didn't seem bothered that after me, there was a line that could wrap, the Nats stadium behind me(job security). I ordered on the app, when I entered the restaurant my order was not ready. I got two plates both with half veggies and rice/chow mein. I noticed there wasn't enough veggies on one of the plate. I brought this up to the worker and she told me it was there. I legit said where? Because it was VERY clear my other plate had a lot more veggies. I'm paying for this food and I should be receiving what I am paying for. It was my mother's birthday and I'm bringing back little to no veggies? Service sucks. The workers were extremely rude and were talking about me while I was standing to the side waiting. I'm right here and you're gossiping about me to the other worker? That's childish. They were not friendly and unwilling to fix the problem until finally another coworker asked if I wanted more veggies as I was leaving the restaurant. As I'm waiting for the veggies, I overhear the other worker saying "Did they come back?" Once again crystal clear they are talking about me because she said "There wasn't enough veggies" YEAH there wasn't and I'm standing right here. Just ordered 2 bowls of orange chicken and noodles, with 2 plates of walnut shrimp, noodles orange chicken. Service was horrible. The line is inevitable long as always and when I get to the counter, Maria(team leader) messed up 2 ladies orders in front of me. Not to mention she picks up a call then leaves the counter, leaving bozo #2 to do her job. These people did not wear gloves. #2 grabs the dirty trays and spoons, then proceeds to handle customer orders. I'm like dude I've been in line 25 mins, while you guys mess up orders, you barely gave me chicken...its not double. Just got home. Chicken is hard as a brick. Noodles are dry. Called spoke with Maria, who pretended to be the manager, then says we dont have a manager I'm team leader, she tells me bring the receipt and we will give you a free plate! After I just spent $31. I have bought from different panda express locations and the rice is perfectly cooked unlike this rice from this location, the rice is very dry and under cooked. To be honest, I was surprised to see that this Panda Express location has worse reviews than the UMD Stamp location one. Based on the several times I have come here, I felt like the service at this location has always been quick and friendly. Mind you, every time I have come here, there has only been at most one other person in front of me in line. It also seems pretty clean as well. It's also nice that it's not extremely chaotic, unlike the Stamp location. read more

I ordered the 3 entree plate through Door Dash today and I was very disappointed. The portions were smaller than when I go to the restaurant. I received no condiments or fortune cookie. I love that we have not one but two Panda Express eateries - one on campus and now this one right off campus. Woo! I always get a congested feel going to the Stamp food court. But this Panda Express definitely feels spacious - there's plenty seating space. Food is pretty standard, so nothing (good or bad) specifically stands out. Although when I had gone, there weren't too many people there. I didn't have to wait long in line, and everything tasted fresh and hot. This location is supposed to be open until 9:30 pm, according to the sign on the door. Last time when I had attempted to go, it was just a few minutes past 9:00 pm and the door had been locked. That was a disappointment, and that would be why I deducted one star. Otherwise, I love Panda Express. Mmm! Note that the closing time: 10:00pm actually means they close their kitchen at 8:20 (as we were told by the young "chef" in the back) and from that point on you're really getting old food. So I called this PE around 8:00pm to place a large order for family. The young lady I spoke too seemed reluctant to take my order for two family meals over the phone. According to her "it's best if you place the order online or come in to place it." I asked her how long it would take for them to get it together if I placed the order in person, and she told me a few minutes. So when I got there around 8:24, to place the exact order I'd informed them of on the phone, imagine my surprise when there was great discussion between the cashier and the kitchen staff, the result of which was informing me that the kitchen had closed and they would not be able to fulfill my order. If your looking for fresh Chinese food, this Panda Express is probably not the best idea in the evening, after the staff has decided that they are done working for the night. read more

This is the WORST Panda Express that has and will ever exist. The food is disgusting and is NEVER fresh. The orange chicken is pathetically small and hard. It's awful. The beef and broccoli, which is something I always get to accompany my orange chicken, is lacking beef. It's just broccoli and hardly any beef at all. Came here today late night to grab some dinner for my wife and I. First off they were closing early and everything shut down practically with 40 min left to go before doors are closed. Everything was practically sold out and nothing fresh was made. I wanted to try the honey walnut shrimp they were out of it the beef and broccoli was cold and could tell it was sitting. The noodles were cold and dry and the rice stale and hard. We asked for black pepper chicken they give us orange chicken and my wife is allergic to orange/citrus. I live one hour away so we drive to a park and ride 15 min away to eat off the beltway and notice all our food is wrong. I call to speak to a manager and no one answers the phone. It was nothing we could to but give to a homeless man in our neighborhood. So upset. Luckily store manager Marco called me directly to rectify the situation and fix everything. The food is good but when I was waiting in line I lost my appetite. What I saw was mind boggling! The employee that was making my food had no gloves or a mask on touching raw lettuce then going to make more food without washing his hands. Will not say names because it is up to management to correct them. On top of that he also went on his phone to reply to a message then went back to making food. This is MIND YOU during a pandemic where being sanitary is pretty important! If you are not able to operate your business during this pandemic please keep it closed. Shame on management for allowing such behavior and shame on the employee that was making the food I was midway ordering so I went to pay for it but threw the food away immediately! This time I decided to check out the College Park location since I was already shopping in the mall area here.
