Zatar fries

I've gone to the Tyson's location a few times and was introduced to the restaurant through a friend, so I'm glad there is a location much closer! I've only tried their rice bowl with the vegan meat, and I totally recommend it. This time, I decided to try the vegan meat in a pita pocket. It was good, but I think I'll stick with the rice bowl from now on. I also got a side of fries, and the seasoning is a bit too much for me. Surprising, as I love me a well seasoned meal! I think a lesser amount would've been just fine. I love the various vegan sauce options!! I didn't want to be too greedy so I only got four lol. They all have a unique taste and can't go wrong with any of them. The restaurant is carry out only, so there's no where to sit. The wait wasn't long at all. I think it took around 10 minutes, so I just sat in my car while waiting. If you're not familiar with this area, the parking is very limited, but I'm usually lucky to find a spot right in front.

I love Falafel Inc! I come here frequently in CP with their affordable food and vegetarian options. I frequently get the falafel sandwich and zataar fries. Luckily, they just added a little bit of seating to this location. Staff has been welcoming in my experience. Sometimes orders can take a little while, but it is not bad. I definitely recommend coming here!

You can go wrong with falafel, especially with $5 falafel bowls and $4 falafel wraps- prices almost unheard of these days. Falafel inc doesn't disappoint with its fresh falafels that are made fresh to order and the bowls that are jam packed with greens, cabbage; tabouli, and zatar chips. They have a wide variety of sauces to choose from but my favorite are the invisible and habibi sauces. The zatar fries were freshly fried as well but i think next time i would ask for less of the zatar seasoning as My order was fully covered in zatar. Overall, i loved my food from falafel inc and you definitely can't beat the value. I'd definitely come back to try their falafel wrap or the new chicken rice bowl.

So THIS is Falafel Inc -- I had been hearing about them for years, literally. They were featured on a couple of top lists and everyone insists that their falafel must be tried! Their location was never convenient, and whenever I was in their area, I had already eaten! *facepalm* Anyways I was leaving a holiday market in College Park over the weekend, and was walking back to my car. I turn and I see a familiar logo. And I'm like "wait a minute!" I walk up to it, I see that they're open. And I'm dumbfounded... because how did I not hear about this beforehand?! At this point it's been around for like 2 months. I'm ashamed of myself. It has a bright interior, and they have their bowl and dips on display. Their falafel bowl looked quite filling... and it's only $5. And while smaller than other balls I've seen, I spotted quite a few falafel balls in there! As a first timer, I decided to just go with that, and change nothing so I could have it as is. It was ready within 5 minutes. I got my spot in front of TV at home and dug in as I queued up a show. It was delicious! It had falafel, red cabbage, tabouli, pickles and zaatar chips on greens, and some sauce. I also added hummus, which I believe was an extra dollar. Everything went so well together, and that price still shocks me! It was GREAT. They have plenty of sides and shelves of drinks. Will be going back ASAP to report on other items.

Shawarma sandwich, baklava, hummus, falafel bowl

I was so excited to find out that Falafel Inc had made its debut in College Park! I've tried Georgetown's Falafel Inc before and I'm very glad they're expanding. I usually get their shawarma sandwich and am always surprised that it's vegan because the "meat" is so juicy and tender. Their special sauce really elevates everything from the pitas to the bowls to the fries. I'm afraid I'm not the biggest fan of falafel, but somehow, Falafel Inc's is the exception. It's moist and flavorful, and not to mention, so affordable too. As exceptional as the food is, the thing that really stood out to me was the service at this location. I had a lovely chat with the manager, and he was so kind and generous. He ended up offering some hummus and baklava for me to try - both were amazing. The hummus tasted so fresh and the baklava was flaky and sweet. The store was also giving out free tote bags and I'm very proud to rep such a good cause, as their proceeds go towards to helping refugees. I wish nothing but the best for Falafel Inc, and hope they continue to thrive.

Food was good and came out quickly. I love their sauces and want to try their dishes. They were also friendly and the place was very clean!

I spent every summer in this town, growing up, and I never discovered this restaurant until a precious friend brought me here a few years ago. It's a dated, though efficient, and charming, cafe with fresh dishes you might love. Firstly, if you plan on having lunch here on a Monday, make sure you are able to finish by 2:45 since they close by 3pm. All other days, they are open past 8pm. We started with the sweet potato soup despite the fact that the reviews for the lentil soup here are the highest. Yes! If it's featured: get it! The turmeric and coconut milk make this soup delightful. The herbs made it so fresh and there was just the right amount of sweetness and gentle heat. Parsley really adds to this recipe and I'm not usually a fan of this herb. The pitas are soft, thin and light. Love them. We needed to order more. I've never had such paper-thin pitas. Yum! I love love love the hummus, here. It is nothing short of divine. The flavors are fabulous and deeply complex. You can really taste the tahini. The olive oil is mild and delicious. I exclaimed, "the hummus was the best ever." And then 5 minutes later, I read a review by Yelper James H. where he says it's the best ever and, "... this hummus at Cedars of Lebanon might have ruined all other hummus for me forever." While I've had similar swooning feelings over the hummus at Lebanese Taverna in Tyson's Corner, this hummus is at least a top contender if not the metro DC area's hummus winner. The cucumber mint yogurt salad is nice, cold and refreshing. You can really taste the mint. I would order this yogurt salad with every meal. The falafel pizza is unusual and fresh. Straight away-- you can taste the tahini, parsley and couscous. The dough is grainy and natural. And there are radishes on this falafel pizza: not overpowering. For the $9 or so pricepoint, this dish is a true labor of love. To prep all of these vegetables, even with food processors, must take time. How novel of a dish! Put the yogurt salad on this pizza. You will thank me. And I only did it because I was watching someone else slather it on. There were at least 12 desserts on the menu. Meow. If we weren't so full of pita, hummus, tahini and fresh veggies, we certainly would love to taste a few of these. As well as the Turkish coffee, with an authentic ceramic and metal carafé presentation.

Pretty easy, breezy no-frills restaurant…read more We stopped by Cedars of Lebanon, because it was one of the few places that had outdoor seating and was not full. The restaurant has a small outdoor dining area with three four-seater tables, which was find for our two dogs. The experience overall was pretty low key, which necessarily is not a bad thing. Although there is waiter/waitress service, you will have to order your food at the cashier's counter. Actually, maybe that's only a thing if you are dining outside. The menu has a nice mix of Middle Eastern dishes. I went with a beef (or maybe it was lamb) kabob plate. The portions were fine and my meal was pretty good. It was not out of this world amazing, but it got the job done. I thought that the prices were pretty good for the area and the amount of food received. Although the food was fine, I do not think that I would go out of my way (e.g., driving more than 30 minutes) to dine here. Just be aware that the restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages.

We stopped by the cafe for a couple of beers before heading back to our part of MD. I think we originally wanted to have a meal there, but the patio was full so we went to another location for lunch. I thought New Deal Cafe had a decent variety of draft beers. Ok, so the selection included three IPAs and one lager. However, IPAs are my beer go-to so it worked for me. The service at the bar was great. Our bartender, Renee, was quite hilarious. I got the sense that this is local "where everybody knows you name" because the customers seemed super social with each other. Looking forward to our next New Deal Cafe visit.

We got drinks (me, green tea) and others also got pastries for dine in. Everything was good and the service was very welcoming. Had to leave before the band started but will catch a performance soon.
