I have had the worse experience ever at this Panda Express. First, I ordered Door Dash and my order was wrong. They didn't give me the correct items. This isn't the first time, but it is definitely the last. I am not ever ordering food from this place again. If I could rate it 0/5 stars for customer service alone I would. Maria the manager was very rude. She told me they couldn't notify me of them running out of a food item because they were "too busy" so instead I just have to eat food I didn't order and go without what I paid good money for? It's ridiculous. Then, after I had driven from my home to this location I simply wanted my order remade so my family could have a hot meal. Mind you, this was almost an hour after I had ordered my food. And she basically told me that was my problem because the rest of the order came hot about an hour earlier. So not only did you mess up my order, give me poor customer service, but now my family is forced to eat cold food? Absolute worse worse place to order dinner from when Maria is on the clock. She clearly needs more training in customer service and presents no solutions to returning, paying customers. Never again! I will be reaching out to corporate regarding my issues. I will have to find the number since Maria would not give it to me. She basically said to look it up myself. read more

Iv been craving Chinese food.. so here we are! They have new flavors this season.

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a drive-through Panda Express when I got off the freeway. The location looks prime and easy to get to off the freeway however, it's nestled in the back corner of a shopping center almost hidden. I was planning on going through the drive-through but noticed the line was extremely long..no biggie, I need the exercise. I went inside and was greeted by the manager, he was extremely friendly. I ordered the panda bowl with chow mein and teriyaki chicken. I had to wait about two minutes for the chicken to be ready, again no biggie. I also added a side of honey walnut shrimp..YUM! The wait to be rung up kinda sucked but it was the lunch rush. I feel their system was somewhat unorganized and they seemed under staffed. The cashier Harvey was helping prepare plates, however there was a number of us with food already packaged ready to go. She was friendly but VERY loud, I heard her voice the whole time while eating in the restaurant. My food was great! Over all my experience was good at this location. I wouldn't recommend coming in during the lunch rush or expect to stay a while. read more

Panda Express - There was a consistent line during the lunch rush. That has got to say something about this place. - Chinese Near Me - Chula Vista, California

They had fresh food right out of the kitchen. It was hot off the grill and the serving was size was a lot. I fed my three kids and myself on s bigger meal with an extra grilled chicken entree. Four of us filled up on $17.00. That included drinks. This is our go to restaurant after a big day at Aquatica. It's great food with veggies that the kids will eat. They always give us extra plates to share the food and small cups that the kids can handle. If you've got a mini van full of hungry kids and want something better than a burger or nuggets. Give this Panda Express a try, the kids love it! Especially the fortune cookie at the end! read more

Although I have seen the Panda Express sign from the freeway I-805 (Chula Vista) I have not ordered or eaten at this location before. I had a recent child's birthday in the area and decided belatedly in the day to provide family dinner before everyone else came for cake and ice cream. I do not live in the area so this was a "reach out" for some major help. I went with the 12-16 people catered selection which provided 2 entree trays (beef broccoli & orange chicken), 2 sides (chow mein & fried rice. They also provided plates, serving utensils, soy & chili sauce. That was an added plus. They did not throw in chop sticks or forks with the requested number of plates and that would have been helpful. The price was very reasonable and the tray portions were just right. Ordering on-line will be a plus as well next time. I had requested a pick up time of 5 pm; however, I had to wait for my order for an additional 35 minutes. It was disappointing but I took it good naturedly as the up-side was 'I knew my order was definitely fresh and hot'. Everything was delicious and won kudos from everyone - even the kids! I did not go five stars for the waiting although I went with my personal choice of good mood. The location is kind of hidden behind other stores at this strip mall but once you get to the rear side of the mall, there is some parking available around the restaurant. The best feature for this Panda Express location is...they have a drive-through!!! Whatever system they have in place...works. While waiting for my order I watched the drive-through line and it moved rather quickly. They were very busy in-doors and the line!! Some out-side tables immediately outside the main doors was nice. Pleasant enough even though right next to parking lot. Restaurant was clean exterior and interior. Customer service was good, friendly and professional. Very helpful. They handled the crowd very well and with lots of smiles, have a good evening...the works. Overall very pleased with my visit, the food and service. I am going back!. read more

Food here was really fresh, hot and recently made. Not like other locations where you get slightly stale orange chicken or dry. Great location, great customer really clean read more

This Panda Express is terrible!!! Customer service sucks!! We ordered a family feast and added egg rolls. Well of course they forgot the egg rolls so my husband called them and gave them his name and they told him they would give him an entree for their mess up. Well I went to pick it up and it was such a hassle. After waiting in a long line I had to deal with a manager with a funky attitude. Then got sent to someone else who needed me to get a photo of the receipt. Acted like she had no clue of what was going on just to find out she was the one who talked to him. Then the "entree" that was given was like 4 pieces of orange chicken. This isn't the first bad incident here. Should've learned my lesson but I got it now. I'd rather drive across town then to deal with the mess of this establishment!! read more

They always get my order wrong. Today was the last straw. Tina who took my order on the drive thru not only got my order wrong but double charged me. When I went inside to get the order corrected she had the audacity to start arguing with me. I get the same thing every time i go. I know exactly how much it cost. If they had been busy I would understand but the place was slow. No excuse for her not getting the order right and double charging me. read more

Just was at this incredibly rude establishment. it's a fast food restaurant and foremost you are open so make some food! We get there and they have literally a choice of five items and only two servings of rice, but as we are making our selection the drive thru girl JASMIN comes over and takes all the food for a drive thru customer that came in after us. I said please stop taking the food so we can get ours. She snaps back and states they ordered laughed and walked away! Hello blind girl we are ordering and you came and reached around the girl serving us. Management, monitor your evening crew. read more

I love panda and I've been coming to this one for a long time but recently it hasn't been good quality, or how it used to.. Definitely recommend some other panda place.. I ate a orange chicken piece and when i got home my stomach started hurting before i even ate my food plate. I couldn't finish the whole plate it tasted burned not much flavor idk please change panda. Also service was slow and not much staff. read more

Epic fail! I placed an order for the Fam and one of two item entrees I decided to change at the cashier drive through window. I told her I wanted mushroom chicken instead of kung pao. Of course got the inconvienance smirk, rolled eyes and was told ,"you will have to wait 5 minutes!" I then asked for shanghai beef and clearly pissed she said, thats 5 minutes too!" Obviously I have a big truck & I can see through the window them serving walk-ins food that I had to wait for! I got pissed and drove off! Bottom line is stop hiring freaking people who act like they are doing customers a favor by being there! We actually pay there checks, but I sure ain't any longer! This place is garbage from bottom to top! read more

This place sucks they are always running out of everything and sometimes the food tastes like burnt plastic plus the people always forget things I'm never coming back here read more

Despite there being long lines the team really works fast and in a friendly way. Keep it up!!!!

Today we decided to go to panda to take advantage of their drive thru. We ended up eating inside because there was a long line at the drive thru. As we finished ordering our food we noticed a group of people walk in with red Panda Express shirts. After a while we noticed that a man with a gray shirt was the owner of Panda Express. It was nice to see the owner of an establishment interact with customers and employees. He actually took time to talk to us. Besides the food being great as it always is we were pleasantly surprised to see him there. read more

First of all, THIS IS NOT AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD! Secondly, this Americanized-Chinese food is not cooked well AT ALL! And the service? Let's just say that the workers there have to be paid minimum wage! They don't even deserve that! The service is horrible, like most "service" in the Chula Vista area. I have lived in the Chula Vista area since late 1989. Chula Vista is a great place to live. However, the downside is the service in retail stores and restaurants. In general, service is terrible in this area, in general. On Friday night at about 8:30 PM I went through the drive-thru window. When I ordered, the girl at the other end could not understand what I ordered, so I had to repeat the order. And, before anyone thinks otherwise, I was born and raised in California and do not have any hint of an accent. I ordered the Beijing Beef, Broccoli Beef, Mandarin Chicken, and chicken breast with green beans, and fried rice. The broccoli beef looked and tasted like it had been sitting overnight. It was mushy and the beef was tough! The Mandarin chicken looked old, like it had been sitting overnight. It had a dark look to it. The rice seemed undercooked and hard, with no taste. The green beans with chicken breast was the best, as it was freshly cooked. All in all, this was $14 wasted on barely edible food! Like another poster stated, when I got home the napkins looked used. They were crumpled up and wadded up. Why? Why can't grown people place napkins neatly in the take-home bag? Why? The people that work there have no pride at all in what they do. Oh, and by the way, the next time you go to a Panda Express, look and see who is cooking the food. Is it any wonder that the food is barely edible? Never again, I am done with giving money away to this establishment. The manager and workers there have no pride in what they sell... You are better off going to the "99 Cent" Chinese restaurant located next to the Vons on Third Street. That food at least tastes good and is hot. A lot closer to authentic Chinese food that the crap served at Panda Express on Main Street!!! Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. You get nothing there. servi8ce is terrible, and the food isn't any better... read more

Food is good and hot! Service was great and fast! Adrian was who attended me and he was great and very helpful. This is my favorite panda: )

The food is good but the drive thru person is rude and gave us attitude when we asked if our food order was correct!! Took all the food and open it all up like she was bothered! Horrible service! Her name is Jazelle!! Won't ever go back to this location of you hire employees like this! read more

Worst Panda Express in San Diego! I've been there three times and every time I have to wait a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes at the drive thru! I brought the problem up with Michele the supervisor and asked her to walk outside to see how long the drive thru line was and how it's interfering with parking..... I'm hoping she puts effort in speeding up the drive thru.... Avoid going to this Panda Express.... poor customer service and poor drive thru service. This isn't fast food.... it's slow food. read more

When I last ate here I was very disappointed they basically were out of everything, they asked me if I wanted to wait for fresh chicken and so I did, after my chicken was done I wanted some fried rice and they told me that a customer that had came in after us already ordered that item ??? That's really messed up they didn't ask me if I wanted anything else and didn't think it was a big deal to just ask for the other items after the chicken was ready but fuck me they sold what I wanted to the other customer. So I had to go to another place to get more food because there wasn't enough food . I won't be returning! read more

This is the worst Panda Express accusing me of cutting in line!!! Daniellae your cashier today 5:05, 2/14/2019 Valentine's day has a bad mouth. We ordered for dine in and after completing our order your staff handed me my orders so I got it and went to the cashier. And right away she said "no cutting in line!!!" Wow ... !!! Did you not train her to be respectful to customers!!! She can say it nicely and properly if she was trained. We lost our appetite because of humiliation and anger ... she has a hard face and did not apologize. Thanks to another lady staff who was humble to apologize and gave us free soda and veggies but the damage is done! DANIELLE Zero for you. read more

I didn't like their "chinese food" this is a lie this is not a real chinese food, the only thing I ate right here is a horrible rice and chicken without any flavor, the service is good, but the food isn't chinese they should be embarressed about what they sell, even though I can't say more... Just don't go here if you're looking for good quality. read more

I usually love Panda Express but tonight I was left disappointed and disgusted! I got home only to find a cooked roach under my orange chicken after I had taken several bites :( I was horrified and I called to speak to a manager and I let her know I wanted my money back. So when I get there she asked to see my food and I told her the roach was in the napkin. She looked at it and said it wasn't a bug it was food. I'm not dumb and I know what a roach looks like, so yes I did leave with my money back. I'm very disappointed because orange chicken is my favorite. I'm sorry but I won't be eating there anymore. I honestly feel like cutting fast food altogether. So be careful and inspect your food before you take a bite. read more

Everything about this place is a big NO. They're stingy with the portions, the selection they have now is either shrimp, chicken or beef and they all taste the same. What ever happened to BBQ Pork? Why in gods name is the teriyaki chicken grilled then left to shrivel up and dry? What happened to the Tofu and Eggplant ???? Their customer service is terrible especially while you order because they either don't reply or they're just fooling around. If you want to have real Chinese food, avoid this place. Everything is too tangy and dry or just tastes old. You might as well go to a Chinese buffet for the price you pay at this awful place. read more

I love the food but this place has the worst customer service. They never get my order right and never apologizes for it. I have complained multiple times but nothing is ever done. Great food but the service ruins it all! read more

Only if i am starving and the next food place is 100 miles away I will think of eating Panda Express, maybe. I got half and half of fried rice and noodles with sesame chicken breast. The rice and noodles were both under cooked. The sesame chicken breast was ok. At least it looked like real chicken. My kids got a cookie for their desert. Both refused to eat their under cooked rice and noodles and even refused to eat their cookie after tasting it. Sad that the quality has gone down the drain.. read more

Ugggggh I'm sick of coming here because I'm too lazy to go to the Panda Express on Broadway. The one I usually go to is not a drive thru but this one is the closest. Everytime I come here I always encounter something. I love Panda, although it's not authentic Chinese food it gets the job done, it is fast food, or at least at most Pandas. I'm tired of waiting over 30 minutes to even place an order and you can't even drive off because the parking lot is small so you're basically trapped. I finally pull up to order after 40 minutes of waiting in the drive thru. They offered me a free sample and I said sure, the ordering process was probably the less stressful part of coming here to this particular Panda Express. Except for the fact that they expect you to order one thing and constantly ask "Any thing else" as if they're trying to rush my order. Whatever. Anyways I pull up to the window and they ask if I would like to round up to the nearest dollar for some charity and I said sure, I guess. The chick gave me my food and said "Thank you, goodbye." I was wondering why I didn't get a free sample they offered? I was so irritated already so I was like okay whatever and drove off realizing I didn't receive my DRINK that I ordered. I barely come to this one and I always forget that this place ALWAYS forgets to give you your drink if you go through the drive thru. I was definitely pissed. There were too many cars surrounding the building so I said f*** it I'm leaving, I don't have time to go in and complain. Waited 40 minutes in the drive through, was being rushed through my ordered, didn't get a free sample they offered, donated to their charity and I guess I donated to Panda Express because I didn't receive my drink. I don't ever want to come back to this one. My cashier was Darianna (that's what it said on my receipt), thanks for rushing me and ruining my experience. I was calm through it all because I also work for customer service but this was HORRIBLE. I would atleast offer some type of compensation for the wait but they didn't offer any. I myself would not let a customer leave with a terrible experience and would offer them something to ease the tension. Go to the one on Broadway in West Chula Vista by Costco, atleast they give your their food in under 5 minutes! This place is a joke. They have so many people working at the same time and their wait time is horrendous. Never again am I coming back to this specific location. read more

If you want fast or even your order right then don't come to this Panda Express. I order 2 plates and I had to wait four minutes for beef and broccoli and I also got honey walnut shrimp, well I waited 20 min and you think they would have got my order right. Nope of course not, I don't even get my shrimp and the beef and broccoli isn't even hot. It's like Luke warm. Well I was hungry when I got there and well what's five minutes right, well I turned into a rage monster for my food, five minutes turning into 20 was not part of the plan. I just wanted to get home and eat that my monster didn't check the order before I left. So check your food make sure if you ordered Shrimp that those yummy shrimp are in there. If I have to wait just cut through the crap and tell me your going to put my order to the side and forget about my order all together. I would have got something else. I really do miss having those shrimp. read more

I will never eat here again... I ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl and made me wait 20 minutes outside their parking lot along with other cars. I then got Salmonella poisoning because someone decided to not wash their hands when they were grilling the chicken.... This is disgusting and I was ill in bed for almost a week with a fever. I can tell it was the chicken because hours later after eating I started vomiting and got really sick. 7$ cost me almost up to 200$ of medical bills and medications. I am highly disappointed that most of you know what's going at this location, yet no one does nothing about it... So much for these managers and their customer service. Aside from that the girl who gave me the chicken bowl had a horrible attitude... Where do you find these people? read more
