I have only ordered from here a few times and the food is semi-decent. Egg rolls are good. Orange Chicken is actually fantastic and I usually avoid it at restaurants. But my problem is with the green bean chicken and cream cheese ragoons. The Green Beans were frozen/ not fully cooked and the ragoons were burnt with no cream cheese. The rice too was... hard...!!!! read more

This Panda has a drive thru however the traffic flow is terrible. The line for the drive thru often blocks all the spots in front of the restaurant. We often have to park far away when there are so many open spots blocked by the drive thru. The food is the same as other other location. read more

I was in the area and wanted to grab a quick dinner. I ordered a plate with teriyaki chicken and fire wok shrimp with the greens as the base. The greens are chopped pretty big for the bite. The shrimp had a bit of a kick. The teriyaki chicken was chopped in large pieces that you had to bite off each piece. There were some grizzle in the chicken that I had to remove every few bites. It would be nice if there were a vegetarian option. Sometimes you can get a good deal using the app. There's parking along the back side of the shopping center if it get busy with the parking spaces close by and the drive thru. read more

I had gone in for a bigger plate and asked if thats all the shrimp I get with the "Honey Walnut Shrimp". Realizing it seemed like a small amount i asked and an cashier mentioned they only give out 7 shrimp. I acknowledge their policy serving portions. But when i got home there was only 6. Just frustrating how i specifically asked and they still underserve. And the "Honey Walnut Shrimp" being an extra add on id expect to get all i paid for, even if it happens to be a shrimp. Especially since i voiced my concerns in store with the cashier before paying. read more

This location closes 30 minutes early and will not acknowledge you arriving before closing. Ridiculous

Ordered through the drive thru and was told to wait 3 minutes on the side of the restaurant for the noodles to be done. Waited for 10 minutes and went inside, after another few minutes, I was helped out but only to be told the noodles that were made went to other orders and skipped mine. I was told to wait 5 more minutes. Unprofessional and probably the only time I had a problem with Panda Express. read more

Worst customer service. My plate was missing an item. Not a small portion. Zero. Corporate customer service was the worst I've ever received but, coming here and seeing their average rating is 2 starts, it makes perfect sense. They do not care about their service or satisfaction. read more

Service: 1 / 10 Food: 4 / 10 Ambiance: 1/10 Overall 2/10 Worst customer service. I waited in the drive thru for five minutes. No one responded. I went inside the restaurant to order and the employees were kinda arguing about who would help me. I stood there for a couple minutes before someone in a black shirt helped me. They did not have any food ready and I waited for new food to be cooked. The employee who was helping me could not comprehend what I was asking for. The ambiance was sad as no one greeted me and it felt like I was a bother for frequenting their establishment. As a disabled patron it is really difficult to maneuver around. Why have a drive through if you are not acknowledging the people in it. I frequented this particular Panda because it was near my home. I will no longer be a patron as it is really disrespectful to treat customers in the manner that the employees did. read more

This is the worst Panda Express in all of San Diego. They are consistently understaffed, drive thru lines take almost 45 minutes waiting, and if you go inside the lines are even longer. They do not make enough food for both the drive thru and inside customers. The workers always said wait 5 minutes for a new batch but honestly it's like 25 minutes. Horrible read more

Feb 4th 2025 around 8:30 pm - got a bowl of chow mein and orange chicken. I literally got 4 or 5 pieces only - seriously! A four star panda. Good in a pinch and close to where I needed to be. It is tucked way in the back of shopping center and have to battle all the people driving through in n out and other places in the center. Inside is clean and spacious. There is a drive thru but inside is quicker and parking isn't too bad once back there. Decent portion size for a Panda, but also a good reason to go inside to see what is fresh and what is not. read more

Second is horrible, they didn't have anything and what they did have my plate was being passed here and there, employees opening up the plate, waited for shrimp around 1t minutes, then there was a guy using about the machine being down and he paid for his drink. He has his cup but no soda. He kept yelling he looked a little slow but either way instead of ignoring him they should have made it right. Cooks are slow and laid are all mixed up. Won't be back read more

The service was difficult. Staff said orange chicken and beijing beef would be ready in 5 minutes. We waited 15 minutes after paying. Only to get the wrong food and by then the beijing beef was out again and we had to wait an additional 5 more minutes. Staff not properly trained and just in general understaffed for an obvious busy period. read more

Very bad costumer service and food is served cold. They need better employees! As well as hotter food rather than cold.

Hmmm. What to say. Yep, it's a Panda, but it's not a great Panda. Seriously - the staff told us they didn't have soy sauce and add to that they seem to always be out of something. It's like they don't have any processes. Food is -well- panda , assuming you ever get it. read more

This location has a drive thru. We ordered 2 panda bowls....came in a bigger container maybe they ran out of the smaller bowls - but Im not complaining, who wouldnt want more food LOL Anyway, my chosen Beijing Beef was low so they let me pick a 2nd item to full fill the order! Since I said I didnt want to wait for them to make more. The service was quick...didnt have to wait. The dining room was open....but with a kiddo in the car Im definitely thankful for the drive thru option to go! The drive thru and outter parameters were kept clean. If I could give zero stars I would! I only come to this location because it next to my house but enough is enough ! IF YOU WANT TO PAY EXTRA TO GET BARELY ANY FOOD TO FILL YOU UP THEN COME HERE !!!! I have tried over and over to give this place another chance but they keep fucking up like they barely give u any food for 15$ and that's for a plate and a drink hell if you go to the Panda Express in Kearny mesa either one you get double the food plus a drink for under 14$ And I mean it's a lot so much so it feels like your carrying a weight but no this place I grabbed my back and had to check it because it was so light it felt like no food was in there and sure enough none was . Also this place at night loves to give customers the scraps of the chow mein to where it's not even noodles it's mostly cabbage and looks like rice a roni because the noodles are so chopped and then have the nerve after giving u the scraps of the last before they put more instead of just giving you fresh they give u one tiny scoop of crap how do I know they have done it to me over 5 times to where I took three bites and the chow mein is gone and u can't even spin your fork to gather it all up cause it's mostly cabbage and tiny noodles that you can't even spin ! And on top of that their lines are always long and they move slow af waited 10 mins in line behind one person who only ordered one plate like helllooo did yall forget about yall drive thru and honestly it's really just the ladies that sucks and this is coming from a female they move slow and skimp out on the food but if your lucky and a guy is working there u better pray they pack the food cause when the guys do the orders they give a good amount of food and don't be cheap with how much they give overall this place zero stars now I have to drive mins away from my house just to get panda because this place can't give its customers decent sized portions cause I've even had ppl who visited and they said they don't give us shit and back where they are their boxes are always heavy af just like the ones in Kearny mesa read more

Okay so....I decided to stop into Panda even though the line was ABSOULUTLEY ridiculous!! The craving was real. I finally get to the drive up window, order a kids meal, and 2 plate Entree - Broccoli Beef, String Bean Chicken w/ Chow Mein. My question is where is my beef because all I got is Broccoli , and where is my chicken because all I got was string beans. I was so disappointed I waited all that time to not get the food I ordered and paid for. It's unfortunate that even though the workers are stressed and are trying to get the customers served, they should consider what if the role was switched around. The plate was scraps. Such a disappointment EVERY time. I come here for the convenience of not having to get my 2 and 5 year old out of the car, but sadly if it you go through the drive thru they will give you what's left in the bowl if it's almost empty. No matter what I order I end up with 90% of whatever vegetables it was cooked with and you can just tell it's the bottom of the bowl. Might just be petty and come here exclusively but take my kids down and let them terrorize the workers with their 200 questions. read more

I love me some Panda Express! But this was my first and last visit to this location. The service was ok. The food on the other hand was subpar. I pretty much get the same thing each time I go to a Panda Express. I ordered Stringbean chicken with rice and super greens. The green beans were waxy, the rice was on the crunchy side and the super greens had NO Flavor and large pieces that were too tough to chew! Can't do it again.
