    Best ribs

Enjoyed dinner last night with my daughter. I didnt expect such a wonderful experience. The hospitality was spectacular. Our waitress waited on us constantly making our visit so memorable. We came for appetizers and let me say the ribs were a stand out. The dynamite shrimp and chang spicy chicken were all fantastic. This place is worth the night out on the town. Its comfy enough to dress down or up. Plenty of room and the booths they offer gave a nice private feel.

My boyfriend and I dined at P.F. Chang's in Eastlake. The waiting area was nicely adorned with pink balloons that spelled out "Happy Mother's Day." Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service we received. Our server, Stephen, was not very attentive--particularly when it came to checking if my boyfriend needed a beverage refill. When he finally received a refill of Dr. Pepper, it primarily tasted like carbonated water with very little syrup. Additionally, both of our crispy honey chicken entrées were lacking sauce. I requested additional sauce, but by the time it was brought to the table, I had already finished most of my meal. On a positive note, I did receive P.F. Chang's reward points from our visit.

You can never go wrong with the lettuce wraps. I honestly wish that was the only thing I ordered. Personally my orange chicken was too "orange-y" if that makes sense. It tasted like a ripe orange. Too much sour rather than sweet. I must add that our server, Jeremiah, was amazing! He was on top of everything, juggling multiple tables but still remaining the friendliest he could be.

I don't remember PF Chang's being THIS good. It's been at least 15 years since I had PFC, but it was my first time visiting this location. My family and I were extremely impressed. From the flavorful food to the warm and spacious ambiance, my husband and I are already looking forward to coming back ! We have to give a huge shout out to our server, we didn't catch his name, but he had long hair and wore a gray headband. He was awesome. He excelled in providing great customer service, making sure we were taken care of and made my husband's birthday lunch feel extra special. Our favorite dishes include; the chicken lettuce wraps, honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken. Each dish had a nice kick to it. Right now they are offering a $19.99 3-course meal deal. What a steal. There's plenty of parking available as it's right next to the otay ranch plaza. 10 out of 10 recommend this restaurant

During the holidays it can be difficult to find a restaurant reasonably priced for a large group and kid friendly. We often alternate with this restaurant and location. Normally we are seated in the patio where we can easily roam and dine but last Sunday they seated us in the middle of their dining room. We had reservations but maybe the party before us ran long? I ordered the Pork Egg Rolls Chili-Garlic Green Beans (meant to order their Crispy Green Beans but this option was tasty) Kung Pao Chicken (veggies were crunchy and overall good entree) and I ordered their Chicken Lettuce Wraps to go (my sis was disappointed that it was romaine versus iceberg lettuce ) but still enjoyed it There were a couple of servers, but the gentleman who served my side of the table was exceptionally nice and attentive. They only allowed up to four credit cards and we separated and sat in 4 different groups to make it easier for the billing but they billed us all together and it was all mixed up. Oh well we stayed an extra 30 minutes while a few sorted it out. They added 20% gratuity but also another type of gratuity on top of the tax. It was minimal but haven't seen that here before. We'll see if they add it at a PF Chang's outside of Chula Vista Overall: my selections didn't disappoint, my server was great and I had a great time with friends

Had our friends & family Annual Christmas Dinner here on Sunday. We had a party of 21. The waiters worked hard to take our order and make sure everyone got their correct dish. I haven't been in a while, and felt like they changed the recipe in some of their dishes. I had the Kung Pao Chicken and I don't recall it having the texture it did. The green beans were good and the hot & sour soup was delicious and flavorful. Sad they don't do the Dan Dan noodles so I had the lo mein and it just didn't really hit the spot. I hope they bring back the Dan Dan. The atmosphere was festive and my party did have a good time. I made the reservation for 20 and was a bit disappointed part of our party had to sit at a separate table. I wish they would have told me that when I made the reservation. I was also wondering why we had a gratuity tax as a separate line item from the 20% gratuity. I've never seen that before. Other than that, I appreciate all those employees who show up. Thank you.

Orange Chicken Lunch Special and Mongolian Beef Lunch Special with egg drop soups
    Kristine C.

We haven't visited PF Chang's in several years because honestly we've just forgotten it was there. Someone shared they had lunch specials for $14.99 that comes with soup, base (rice or noodles) and an entree. We ordered for pick-up the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. I tried requesting the option to add another entree for $4 (firecracker shrimp) but the person over the phone stated it would be to add shrimp the same Mongolian beef sauce, not an actual separate entree. Anyhow, arriving at PF Chang's around 11:30 on a Friday, there was one customer dining in service and my daughter commented that the outside of the restaurant looked abandoned. The interior was still very nice and service was standard. After seeing our order, the lunch specials looked to be more like rice bowls and the portion was very small. I did ask if the portions were the same as dine-in and they stated it was the same and how they weigh the food before serving. Orange chicken tasted the same as frozen grocery store PF Chang's and the Mongolian beef quality was chewy. The egg drop soup was bland. Unfortunately, I would say that the lunch special was not worth the price due to lack of quality and small portions.

After a considerable period since my last visit to this establishment, I found their Hot & Sour Soup to be an excellent choice given the current weather conditions. Ordering it proved to be a wise decision, as it authentically captured the great sour flavor and perfect spicy notes, making it ideal for a chilly evening. Additionally, I opted for the lettuce wrap, which was consistently fresh and delicious. Although they removed the walnut shrimp from their menu, the crispy honey shrimp served as a suitable alternative, complementing the meal well. This restaurant stands out as one of the long-standing and decent Chinese dining options in my neighborhood. The meal successfully elevated my mood, and I appreciate the quality dining experience provided.

I highly recommend booking well in advance because their books get full. I think I booked my reservation about a month out. Upon walking up to the restaurant, I was a bit underwhelmed, but then I walked in and was amazed by the ambiance: dark, moody, and sexy. The host was very nice and I could tell right away that she was a professional and really good at what she does. The same goes with our server, Andre, who was amazing at what he does. Even though he was covering quite a bit of tables, he made us feel totally taken care of. Huge shout out to Andre! The food was OUTSTANDING and so were the drinks. I got the Malarkey to start off. For food, we ordered the Beet Salad, Wagyu Corned Beef Fried Rice, Lobster Palabok, Chicken Adobong Pula, Sticky Rice Creme Brulee, and Matcha Ice Cream. Is that too much food for 2 people? Probably. But we ate every bite. It was that good! I would write a review on every item but that would be a VERY long review and all I really have to say is you can't go wrong with anything you order here it seems like. Maybe base your decisions off my pictures! The entire experience from the food, drink, atmosphere, service, everything was amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough! Everything that came out tasted great, we particularly loved the Sinuglaw Oysters, Ensaladang Bulaklak, Chicken Arroz Caldo, Taiwanese Chicken, and Banana Coffee Cake. Pork Tocino was great too, although I wish it came with steamed rice (personal preference, lol) and the sawsawan it came with was delicious! Duck Confit Bao was greasy, but it tasted fresh and duck was cooked nicely too. We thought the Wagyu Wonton tasted okay, the portions were differently sized which was odd. Everything else tasted good. Parking is available across the street, about 2-3 mins walk. Valet is also available for $20. We were going to bring and infant and stroller but decided not to, which was great since the ambiance is more "adults only" which is not a bad thing. There were families who brought kids and strollers and it seemed to have worked out great, as Animae accommodated the strollers too. Our server Shanice did a fantastic job and took care of our needs very well. Overall the experience was great, Chef Tara is amazing. They even handed out roses for the moms which was very thoughtful. We will definitely come back here when we are in San Diego.

First off, there is free parking available, just circle around the building until you see a garage entrance for retail parking. Two hours for free! Let me first explain the aesthetics of this place. Clean and modern with mid century feel accented with greenery throughout. Please note that they won't seat you until most of your party is present. We came here for Happy Hour which was from 4-6pm from Tuesday to Sunday! This is fantastic that HH includes the weekend!!!! To start, got a wellness shot which had a meld of juices and ginger. A great drink to ready your palate. For cocktails, I tried the Suika Spritz, which was refreshing! The Absolutely Pho-nomenal definitely tasted like cold Pho broth but spiked. It wasn't my favorite drink, but glad I tried it nonetheless. Of course we ordered the $1 oysters, and ordered all three - Baja, Pacific Northwest, & East Coast. It came with some Asian fusion sauces to dress our oysters. My fave was the Baja as these were the freshest! All three were smooth and non briny. On the HH menu we also tried - Bulgogi Birria Vampiro - Tender meat with bulgogi seasoned beef on top of a tostada. Really liked the meld of the two cultures in this dish. Duck Liver Mousse - Comes with rustic bread & crème fraiche. Very duck forward. I liked this because it was rich with flavor. Stone Crab Taco - Loved the nod to Loganisa in this taco! This was by far, my favorite protein dish on the HH menu!!!! Regular Menu - Mango Nasturium Kimchi Salad - I absolutely loved this vibrant and fresh dish!!!! I had to go back for second and thirds! Shishito Peppers with Bonito Flakes - This was definitely a fun and flavorful dish with lots of umami. Dessert - Hotteok and Vanilla Ice Cream - this was my favorite dessert! The pancakes were flaky and delicious!! Bonbunja Tiramisu - Beware! This has a strong coffee taste. It reminded of the strength and flavor profile of a Vietnamese coffee. I can't believe it's not cheesecake - Definitely a mix of a brûlée but with a cheesecake flavor. Confusing but works lol. We met the executive chef, Kyler, who explained and served some of dishes we ordered. The entire staff was so accommodating and even reminded us if we needed our parking validated! Our water never ran empty and our dishes were promptly taken away as we finished. Definitely a place to visit during HH since they offer amazing food and cocktail choices.

The hostess had a note for our anniversary celebration. They also printed a little celebatory note directly on the menu - a great personal touch. Our server was friendly and answered any questions we had. We ordered the beef tartare, smoked aged duck, and the deep fried sand bass. For the drink we ordered the Seasame Soirée. While our food came out pretty slow, I'd say it was worth the wait. We also enjoyed 2 complimentary glasses of bubbly while we waited as part of our anniversary celebration. The restarant itself is decorated beautifully with a jazzy ambiance. The interior had bits of gold and green with a beautiful pearlescent leafy wallpaper. The bar is located in the center and also doubles as a centerpiece to the restuarant. Restrooms are located in the back - there we many private, clean and spacious rooms. Below is a summary of the food we ordered: Beef Tartare (5/5) - Savory, sweet and spicy beef tartare dressed in fish sauce and thai chilis. Paired alongside fresh herbs like cilantro, shiso, argula and radicchio. The sesame rice crackers were light and airy. Smoked Dry Aged Duck (5/5) - Perfectly cooked, sweet and salty aged smoked duck paired with rice noodles, herbs and 2 different sauces. I appreciated the many ways you can wrap and enjoy the duck. I do wish the slices of duck were either smaller or thinner - it's hard to eat in one bite. Whole Fried Sand Bass (4/5) - I'll always order a whole firied fish wherever I go and this was no expection. I loved the sweet & sour ginger sauce. The fish was a bit over-fried in my personal opinion, but the inside is still very soft and tender. Sweet & Sour Rice Noodles (5/5) - Aboslutely delicious! Slippery and cold rice noodles dressed in fish sauce and other seasonings. It's not overpowering at all and goes great with the Whole Fried fish as well. Seasame Soiree Cocktail (5/5) - A very unique drink made with gin, ginger, coconut, seasame seeds and more. It was very fragrant in the best way. The flavor really develops after the first sip. I love how nutty and decadent yet light this drink is. Overall, I had a great experience here and this is one of the top restaurants I've had the pleasure of enjoying in SD. Highly reccomend especially if you like Vietnamese food / fish-sauce forward dishes. (At least for the dishes I ordered)
