    Catering Chang's Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps
    Michelle R.

We ordered through DoorDash so I can't speak to the cleanliness of the store. FOOD We got the vegetarian lettuce wraps (iceberg), cooled cucumbers salad, Korean cauliflower, Mongolian beef and egg drop soup (bowl). Overall, the food quality met our expectations. SERVICE Was on time and our order was complete. We did have a slight issue regarding a hair with our order but got it fixed with Door dash. My recommendation to management is to make sure the cooking staff always wear PPE (beard masks, safety glasses, gloves, etc) to prevent facial hair from getting in the food. We worked through the issue but it was definitely surprising enough that we didn't finish the particular dish.

Enjoyed dinner last night with my daughter. I didnt expect such a wonderful experience. The hospitality was spectacular. Our waitress waited on us constantly making our visit so memorable. We came for appetizers and let me say the ribs were a stand out. The dynamite shrimp and chang spicy chicken were all fantastic. This place is worth the night out on the town. Its comfy enough to dress down or up. Plenty of room and the booths they offer gave a nice private feel.

My boyfriend and I dined at P.F. Chang's in Eastlake. The waiting area was nicely adorned with pink balloons that spelled out "Happy Mother's Day." Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service we received. Our server, Stephen, was not very attentive--particularly when it came to checking if my boyfriend needed a beverage refill. When he finally received a refill of Dr. Pepper, it primarily tasted like carbonated water with very little syrup. Additionally, both of our crispy honey chicken entrées were lacking sauce. I requested additional sauce, but by the time it was brought to the table, I had already finished most of my meal. On a positive note, I did receive P.F. Chang's reward points from our visit.

You can never go wrong with the lettuce wraps. I honestly wish that was the only thing I ordered. Personally my orange chicken was too "orange-y" if that makes sense. It tasted like a ripe orange. Too much sour rather than sweet. I must add that our server, Jeremiah, was amazing! He was on top of everything, juggling multiple tables but still remaining the friendliest he could be.

I don't remember PF Chang's being THIS good. It's been at least 15 years since I had PFC, but it was my first time visiting this location. My family and I were extremely impressed. From the flavorful food to the warm and spacious ambiance, my husband and I are already looking forward to coming back ! We have to give a huge shout out to our server, we didn't catch his name, but he had long hair and wore a gray headband. He was awesome. He excelled in providing great customer service, making sure we were taken care of and made my husband's birthday lunch feel extra special. Our favorite dishes include; the chicken lettuce wraps, honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken. Each dish had a nice kick to it. Right now they are offering a $19.99 3-course meal deal. What a steal. There's plenty of parking available as it's right next to the otay ranch plaza. 10 out of 10 recommend this restaurant

During the holidays it can be difficult to find a restaurant reasonably priced for a large group and kid friendly. We often alternate with this restaurant and location. Normally we are seated in the patio where we can easily roam and dine but last Sunday they seated us in the middle of their dining room. We had reservations but maybe the party before us ran long? I ordered the Pork Egg Rolls Chili-Garlic Green Beans (meant to order their Crispy Green Beans but this option was tasty) Kung Pao Chicken (veggies were crunchy and overall good entree) and I ordered their Chicken Lettuce Wraps to go (my sis was disappointed that it was romaine versus iceberg lettuce ) but still enjoyed it There were a couple of servers, but the gentleman who served my side of the table was exceptionally nice and attentive. They only allowed up to four credit cards and we separated and sat in 4 different groups to make it easier for the billing but they billed us all together and it was all mixed up. Oh well we stayed an extra 30 minutes while a few sorted it out. They added 20% gratuity but also another type of gratuity on top of the tax. It was minimal but haven't seen that here before. We'll see if they add it at a PF Chang's outside of Chula Vista Overall: my selections didn't disappoint, my server was great and I had a great time with friends

Orange Chicken Lunch Special and Mongolian Beef Lunch Special with egg drop soups
    Kristine C.

We haven't visited PF Chang's in several years because honestly we've just forgotten it was there. Someone shared they had lunch specials for $14.99 that comes with soup, base (rice or noodles) and an entree. We ordered for pick-up the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. I tried requesting the option to add another entree for $4 (firecracker shrimp) but the person over the phone stated it would be to add shrimp the same Mongolian beef sauce, not an actual separate entree. Anyhow, arriving at PF Chang's around 11:30 on a Friday, there was one customer dining in service and my daughter commented that the outside of the restaurant looked abandoned. The interior was still very nice and service was standard. After seeing our order, the lunch specials looked to be more like rice bowls and the portion was very small. I did ask if the portions were the same as dine-in and they stated it was the same and how they weigh the food before serving. Orange chicken tasted the same as frozen grocery store PF Chang's and the Mongolian beef quality was chewy. The egg drop soup was bland. Unfortunately, I would say that the lunch special was not worth the price due to lack of quality and small portions.

After a considerable period since my last visit to this establishment, I found their Hot & Sour Soup to be an excellent choice given the current weather conditions. Ordering it proved to be a wise decision, as it authentically captured the great sour flavor and perfect spicy notes, making it ideal for a chilly evening. Additionally, I opted for the lettuce wrap, which was consistently fresh and delicious. Although they removed the walnut shrimp from their menu, the crispy honey shrimp served as a suitable alternative, complementing the meal well. This restaurant stands out as one of the long-standing and decent Chinese dining options in my neighborhood. The meal successfully elevated my mood, and I appreciate the quality dining experience provided.

Had food and drinks at this location. It's been about 15 years since I've dined here. I figured, I had such a nice time hanging out at the bar at PF Chang's in Fashion Valley, why not give it a try here. It was on a week day. The bar had a couple people sitting around the bar section while myself and partner sat at one of the nearby table. We were only greeted by the hostess, at the front door. Upon entering the bar, there was no staff present. We sat down anyway. Found a wobbly table that bartender later "fixed." Minutes later a bartender appears. He was basic, not pleasantries. He never checked on us or offered us anything else. He wasn't terrible, just basic. The bar area was not as busy as Fashion Valley's. But the again, we had gone to Fashion Valley location during the week before new year. It was packed and lively. We also went during evening time. Our experience at Otay location was good. Besides the bartender lacking "personality," the bar area was missing something. I can't quite figure it out. It was just basic, just like the bartender. I would return again, but suggest getting a bartender that's not so basic

It's been a long time since I ate at a PF Changs. Let me start by saying that this place has great service and ambiance. Our servers were attentive and amazing. However, this review is for the food. My friend and I came to celebrate a girls day and decided to treat ourselves to some fancy Asian food. I know P.F. Chang's are known for their lettuce wraps but it wasn't as amazing as I thought it would be. This restaurant is definitely catered to a different target audience so I feel like the taste was lacking and it's way overpriced. Even the homemade dumplings were just alright. I feel like if you want to have nice dinner outing this place is just ok. You won't have a problem with service. But don't expect it be authentic in flavor. But the plating is still amazing. Just my honest opinion. Recommendations: Crispy shrimp Coconut drink

The kitchen clearly knows how to prepare quality dishes, and the food is the reason I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of less. That said, I deducted one star because of the location and overall environment. I chose Kingfisher because I was looking forward to Vietnamese cuisine, but when I arrived, my first impression was disappointing. Right by the entrance there was a strong urine smell, and because the restaurant has an open-air layout, it affected the dining experience. I also found myself concerned about the surrounding neighborhood and the overall setting. For me, a great restaurant is about more than just the food--it's also about feeling comfortable, relaxed, and enjoying the atmosphere. Even if a restaurant serves amazing food, the experience isn't complete if the location makes guests feel uneasy. I understand that Kingfisher has earned Michelin recognition, and the quality of the food certainly shows why. However, I hope the overall dining environment can improve because the talented kitchen deserves a setting that matches the excellent dishes they serve. I would gladly return if this establishment were located in a cleaner, more welcoming area without the homeless encampments nearby.
