Sunday, 3-08-2026: Hubby and I along with my sister and her hubby decided to eat here after visiting our parents and family at Glen Abbey. The interior is very impressive and tastefully done. I loved the Asian decor with overhead wooden beams and massive light fixtures, which added architectural detail to the entire room. Across from our table was a mural of a dragon like woman holding what appeared to be a katana, which is Japanese not Chinese. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It was confusing but cool looking! It added a touch of drama to the decor. We were seated right away in a comfortable booth. Our server checked in on us often. We ordered egg drop soup and chicken lettuce wraps as appetizers. I ordered the chicken salad and everybody else opted for the Mongolian Beef. Our meals were absolutely delicious and service was on point. We know everything is pricey today but I was sticker shocked when the bill came to over $140! For a late lunch??? We definitely were paying for the upscale ambiance and the delectable food plus it was Sunday so no lunch specials. Probably won't return here any time soon since we're not from the area. The staff was friendly, attentive, and consistently checked in throughout the meal, which was appreciated and helped create a welcoming experience. Unfortunately, the food quality was inconsistent during this visit. The fried rice was sticky and lacked the texture and freshness I typically expect. The Mongolian beef was also disappointing, as the meat tasted overly dried out and slightly burnt. In addition, the green onions appeared to be only lightly cooked and still tasted somewhat raw, which affected the overall flavor and balance of the dish. We also ordered the lettuce wraps, but no sauces were offered or provided with the appetizer, which made the dish feel incomplete and less flavorful than expected. FOOD We got the vegetarian lettuce wraps (iceberg), cooled cucumbers salad, Korean cauliflower, Mongolian beef and egg drop soup (bowl). Overall, the food quality met our expectations. SERVICE Was on time and our order was complete. We did have a slight issue regarding a hair with our order but got it fixed with Door dash. My recommendation to management is to make sure the cooking staff always wear PPE (beard masks, safety glasses, gloves, etc) to prevent facial hair from getting in the food. Enjoyed dinner last night with my daughter. I didnt expect such a wonderful experience. The hospitality was spectacular. Our waitress waited on us constantly making our visit so memorable. We came for appetizers and let me say the ribs were a stand out. The dynamite shrimp and chang spicy chicken were all fantastic. This place is worth the night out on the town. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service we received. Our server, Stephen, was not very attentive--particularly when it came to checking if my boyfriend needed a beverage refill. When he finally received a refill of Dr. Pepper, it primarily tasted like carbonated water with very little syrup. Additionally, both of our crispy honey chicken entrées were lacking sauce. I don't remember PF Chang's being THIS good. It's been at least 15 years since I had PFC, but it was my first time visiting this location. My family and I were extremely impressed. From the flavorful food to the warm and spacious ambiance, my husband and I are already looking forward to coming back ! We have to give a huge shout out to our server, we didn't catch his name, but he had long hair and wore a gray headband. He was awesome. He excelled in providing great customer service, making sure we were taken care of and made my husband's birthday lunch feel extra special. During the holidays it can be difficult to find a restaurant reasonably priced for a large group and kid friendly. We often alternate with this restaurant and location. Normally we are seated in the patio where we can easily roam and dine but last Sunday they seated us in the middle of their dining room. We had reservations but maybe the party before us ran long? I ordered the Pork Egg Rolls Chili-Garlic Green Beans (meant to order their Crispy Green Beans but this option was tasty) Kung Pao Chicken (veggies were crunchy and overall good entree) and I ordered their Chicken Lettuce Wraps to go (my sis was disappointed that it was romaine versus iceberg lettuce ) but still enjoyed it There were a couple of servers, but the gentleman who served my side of the table was exceptionally nice and attentive. They only allowed up to four credit cards and we separated and sat in 4 different groups to make it easier for the billing but they billed us all together and it was all mixed up. Oh well we stayed an extra 30 minutes while a few sorted it out. They added 20% gratuity but also another type of gratuity on top of the tax. It was minimal but haven't seen that here before. Went for a friend's birthday so there were a lot of us. I brought a cake and they were so nice. They had fireworks candles which she loved. We were there a long time celebrating and they kept our drinks filled and we never felt rushed. I do wish they had dry cooked string beans or yard beans. read more

We haven't visited PF Chang's in several years because honestly we've just forgotten it was there. Someone shared they had lunch specials for $14.99 that comes with soup, base (rice or noodles) and an entree. We ordered for pick-up the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. I tried requesting the option to add another entree for $4 (firecracker shrimp) but the person over the phone stated it would be to add shrimp the same Mongolian beef sauce, not an actual separate entree. Anyhow, arriving at PF Chang's around 11:30 on a Friday, there was one customer dining in service and my daughter commented that the outside of the restaurant looked abandoned. The interior was still very nice and service was standard. After seeing our order, the lunch specials looked to be more like rice bowls and the portion was very small. I did ask if the portions were the same as dine-in and they stated it was the same and how they weigh the food before serving. Orange chicken tasted the same as frozen grocery store PF Chang's and the Mongolian beef quality was chewy. The egg drop soup was bland. The brocolli on my dish was undercooked, it was not even crispy raw, it was very tough to chew and the cuts were so big I couldn't chew/bite it. I asked for replacement, with another dish not knowing it came with brocolli and onions. They were the same and huge chunks of undercooked onions and brocolli. I just ate the meat. The Server was attentive and the manager came out to check on us. They gave us a free dessert to share. Our only "beef" with our experience was that the lunch specials START at $14.99 but the menu doesn't specify which items cost more. We didn't realize this until getting home. A "bait and switch" tactic that really bothers me as all the items are listed as if equally priced under the lunch specials section of the menu. I even called to ask if I'd missed an asterisk or ? that would've told me I was paying more but they said the menu doesn't show price differences in that section. So watch out, or ask. Two men walked in behind me and walked around myself and the woman in front of me to go to the side of the counter. The man behind the counter said, it will only take a second. Again I said no, we have orders also to pick up and we are here first. I figured, I had such a nice time hanging out at the bar at PF Chang's in Fashion Valley, why not give it a try here. It was on a week day. The bar had a couple people sitting around the bar section while myself and partner sat at one of the nearby table. We were only greeted by the hostess, at the front door. Upon entering the bar, there was no staff present. We sat down anyway. Found a wobbly table that bartender later "fixed." Minutes later a bartender appears. He was basic, not pleasantries. He never checked on us or offered us anything else. He wasn't terrible, just basic. The bar area was not as busy as Fashion Valley's. But the again, we had gone to Fashion Valley location during the week before new year. It was packed and lively. We also went during evening time. Our experience at Otay location was good. The Teriyaki Beef bowl had barely any beef on it as compared to the photo of it on their website and was not flavorful. The same can be said of the Chicken Bowl. I've been visiting this PF Chang's for more than ten years, always with great service and a friendly staff. That's why what happened on Friday, November 21 was so disappointing. The Happy Hour section was much more crowded than usual. I was there with my 80-year-old mother and a friend, and there was no comfortable place to seat her. So I politely asked the manager, Jeremy, if it might be possible to honor Happy Hour pricing in another part of the restaurant. A simple "no" would have been perfectly fine. Instead, he raised his voice at me in front of other guests, spoke over me, and didn't let me explain why I was asking. My mother was right next to me. He wasn't speaking to her, but she clearly saw the way he addressed me and felt so uncomfortable that she asked if we could leave. This review is not about the policy. It's about the way a manager chose to speak to a long-time customer. No one should be addressed that way, especially by the person who is supposed to set the tone for the team. Two long-time employees whom we've known for years came to apologize afterward, and their kindness is the only reason we stayed. They reflect the true spirit of this restaurant. Towards the end of the call when he told me my total, I realize that I never mentioned that I needed the food ready later so at that point they were already pretty much done making the whole order. We made a reservation and were seated an hour later. Then our server came by about 10 minutes after were we seated and forgot about us. He brought the water back after we've been sitting there for 25 minutes and said that they had run out of glasses. Our bar order came at 25 minutes also. The atmosphere is good but I care more about the food. Ordered the orange chicken with lo mein. The orange chicken is to seeet and has alot of breading. The lo mein noodles were tasteless but ok once I added a bit of soy sauce. My 2nd dish was the beef and broccoli with fried rice. The fried rice was tasteless and the beef was overcooked and tough with no flavor and not tender at all. Seems like they used the beef that they gave me originally which was mongoliam beef but I returned because I definitely know I ordered beef and broccoli.
