I can't review the state of the location since I've only ever ordered for pick up, but my most recent experience wasn't the best at all. I placed an order for pick up - two plates, one with rice and one with noodles. When I looked at the writing on the to-go boxes, one said rice, one said noodles. I didn't bother to check, so I picked them up and went about my trip home. It takes a while to get home, but when I did, I found that they had given me noodles for both boxes. I had tried to reach to Panda Express directly regarding the mix-up, but my attempt to contact went ignored. The food itself was cooked good and is always consistently tasty, which is why I'm so disappointed that the customer service regarding the mix-up was so terrible. I order the chow mein, wok fired shrimp and orange chicken on a plate. The shrimp is a more recent addition and it is super flavorful and worth giving a try. I always order sweet and sour sauce to add to the chow mein and sometimes I will add duck sauce from other Chinese restaurants. It was a Panda Express kinda day. The restaurant is clean and organized. I appreciate that everyone was wearing masks (COVID-19 time), hand sanitizer is available, and that social distancing is encouraged. We visited close to opening time and there was plenty of entree options available. Everything looked delicious. Employees were friendly, quick, and wrapped up our order neatly. Some of our favorites would have to be their Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Beijing Beef, and Cream Cheese Rangoons. I appreciate that nothing is overly salty or greasy. Flavors are all there. When you make mistakes on customer's orders, do not call customers liars because you want to protect your CRAZY employee's mistake! A lady had my order ready to be served and cashier rushed to her station and mess up my order previously written on the box. When I got home my wife's order was incorrect! All because this lady didn't want the previous one fix my platter! I made a call and Manager Jenny answer the phone, she apologized and mentioned that she was gonna credit my meal. Minutes after she call me to tell me that I never got charged for the order previously placed?! She scratched the box! Manager wanted pictures really?! I'm not a liar just to get Chinese food really! Do not go to this one if you have tree nut allergies. My daughter who has nut allergies loves Panda Express's orange chicken. She has never had any issues with any of Panda Express until today and at this place. She got her usual orange chicken when she went there with her friend. After a few bites of orange chicken, she started having an allergic reaction. Not realizing what was going on, she looked over and saw the worker using the same utensil that was used to scoop kung paw chicken to scoop orange chicken. Do they not train their workers? They have 4 options for sides - white rice, brown rice, fried rice and lomein. I like their simple lomein. The Angus beef steak costs a dollar something extra but it's nice. I'm not sure how long this Panda Express has actually been in Centreville - but I only noticed it for the first time about 2-3 days ago. It's been many years since I've eaten at a Panda Express - I've always enjoyed it - it's not authentic Chinese. (I always have to state that now for Kevin's benefit - otherwise he will feel the need to make a wiseass comment :-) ) It's definitely a fast-food, Americanized Chinese food, but I still like it. When I walked in, my nostrils were assaulted by some really fabulous smells! I ordered the 2 entree platter which comes with one side. I opted for the Firecracker Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and Fried Rice, plus a bottle of water. I'm guessing the average American would think that these dishes were spicy hot - I could detect some heat - but I prefer much spicier. Still, it was a quick and tasty dinner. Not nearly as good as Charlie Chiang's or Sino's Inn though. read more

This location used to have great customer service, but it has gone downhill. I arrived to get takeout at 8:20 - at least 40 minutes before they close. The woman behind the counter acted as if I was bothering her by ordering and said that they didn't have any food besides what was already cooked, which didn't include their full menu. The cooks had already cleaned and shut down the grills, and half of the tables had chairs stacked on top. Obviously, the staff place leaving early ahead of serving customers. This is my neighborhood Panda and my usual go to when I want something fresh, filling, and quick. The staff is usually pretty nice and efficient, and the interior is clean! Lines do get long and it does get chaotic however...my last few visits here have made me wary of getting any chicken dishes. Idk if its shortage related but they have cut back on white meat chicken big time. There's only tiny bits of dark meat in all the chicken entrées, and they haven't been making any of my go to crispy chicken options (sweet fire, honey sesame, or their most recent promo, almond chicken). This place is no longer good value for your money...I would gladly pay a few dollars more to get an adequate, filling portion instead of paying the same amount for a fraction of the meat. read more

This place tries to be super legit and seem like they are a great place to get Asian food but it's just a lie. Ordered it for delivery for Mother's Day and I got broccoli and beef but when the food was delivered there were only two minuscule pieces of meat and the rest was all uncooked broccoli. Umm didn't pay for broccoli...I paid for the meat...what the heck?! Not happy. The last few years I've grabbed food from here bad have felt very ill after and the day after. Just thought it was because of the spiciness of the some of the items. But started doing my research of why the food causes illness, serious stomach issues and it's due to them adding MSG.
