Though they were winding down and cleaning for closing within the hour we had excellent service and the sodas were properly calibrated and were good! Good workers they helped us quickly our food was amazing, and hot! While we were in there were multiple employees were cleaning. The employees were very sweet, the only thing was when I asked for lots of soy sauce she gave me only like 4 and I asked for more and she gave me 4 more. I was surprised to find out my husband had never tried Panda Express before , and I was genuinely excited to be introducing him to a new eatery. So we picked up our orders, and drove all the way home before realizing they messed it up. I believe it would have been common courtesy for them to at least throw in an extra scoop , egg roll, or some sort of comp for the inconvenience of messing up the order and for the fact that we drove all the way back, but no. I have to say, as far as Panda Express goes, this one is pretty good. The food is more consistent than the others that I have been to. Actually, I despised Panda Express before we started coming to this one. A plus is that it is usually busy so the food gets turned over pretty often. The first time I guess he overheard me talking about wanting to try out the teriyaki chicken so he snuck a tiny side of it in my bag and wrote a sharing panda note on the container. It was. This location's service is quick during lunch rush. I always order an orange chicken bowl and a Sobe drink. On occasion the chicken tastes like like it's sat there for a bit... if you can catch them on lunch rush when the food is fresh it's great. Last night I came in shortly before they were closed. I always get the mixed greens as my side and was truly disappointed when I walked up to see that they were out. Krystal, who was so attentive and kind, saw how disappointed I was and offered to make me some. I could see the cook was cleaning and being in the restaurant business myself I didn't want to cause him to have to do any more extra work at the end of his long day when i could settle for fried rice, which is also good, so I declined. She then said "Really, it's ok. If that's what you came here for then I'd like for you to be able to get what you want". I hesitated still, but she smiled and turned to the cook and asked him to start some fresh mixed greens. He did so, and it didn't even take long at all. This location has a drive thru which is convenient...but the last 3 months the portions of food given through the drive thru are not what they are when dining inside, I have had to wait 20 minuets for a certain item, and only tell me I have to wait AFTER I paid and they still put the wrong food in the container. I would not recommend this particular Panda Express. The lady in charge was cleaning tables when I walked in. She took a few trays, pushed the trash into the trash can with them and stacked them up. This location has been consistently an unpleasant experience for me and my family. We will not return after this past Sunday's experience. The employees are very rude, unhappy about being at their job, and unsanitary in food handling procedures. They talk loudly and shout at customers while spitting as they speak onto the food, they never have fresh food when we go there (spring rolls stale and cold nearly 3 times in a row), we order 3 entrees and the food is soggy mush in a box, they selectively give fortune cookies out to customers (some get a handful while others get none), they clean countertops and go straight to food serving without hand washing, one employee had a cough and shouldnt have been there at all serving food. I feel like there were language barriers with the one employee who spoke very little English and she was very impatient when we couldnt understand her. (Surely planned) Very shady way of doing business and take advantage of 8 year old boys. The manager at the Burleson,Tx location kicked out our baseball team on our fundraiser night. The reason she did this is because a family member of the baseball team forgot their flyer and she would not honor the flyer. The flyer is what qualified the baseball team receiving 10% of that particular customers bill. We planned for this fundraiser for over a month. The store would've netted at least $1000 from our team. The team would have netted $100. Fundraisers are meant as way for local businesses to give back to the community. This manager did not care about helping a group of 8yr old boys out. I've eaten at this Panda Express many times. Panda Express is not my favorite Chinese Food Restaurant, but, my family enjoys it, and, it's acceptable enough to me to eat it. Service, at this location, is usually a little slower than others. I think this is due to the volume of people who eat here. They always seem to be slightly understaffed for the volume of customers they get. They are usually out of string bean chicken no matter when we go in. On Sunday, January 7th, my family an I went for lunch. One of my daughters wanted Terriaki chicken. They were out and the young girl told us it would be about 8 minutes. I waited for almost 30. What I observed was that every one of the patrons in front of us, about 6 people, had ordered terriyaki chicken as well. The young girl only placed 4 to 5 chicken breastson a griddle that held about 20. When I first began waiting, I did not see any chicken breasts cooking. She added the 4-5 and then 10 minutes later added about 10-12 more. It was one of that batch that ultimately became my order. Although the workers were doing a good job working and were pleasant to deal with, I have to question their process and lack of recognition of the situation. With multiple people waiting on Terriyaki Chicken, and, more ordering it behind those that are waiting, why would you place only 4-5 breasts on the the grill? You have to recognize that a lot of folks are ordering that item and load up the grill. Once I received my order, the young girl smiled and said, "Thank you", which is what she should do. However, she should have told me, and the others waiting, while we were waiting, that she was sorry we were having to wait longer than she said we would and offered us something else, as well as an explanation for the delay. The issue here is not that the workers don't care, its that they've not been taught proper customer service, common courtesy, and, recognition of an unusual situation and how to deal with it. They simply went about their way of doing what they've been taught to do, and, what they always do. There was no attempt to remedy the situation that arose.
