A different table with a very dirty floor.

I'm writing about the Panda Express next to Lowes and across the st. from Kentucky Fried Chicken in B-ham. The last time I was there a worker came out and was cleaning up. Today I was eating inside and it looked like the floor hadn't been cleaned in a couple days. I was there about 12:30. The food was good but I was turned off by the messy floors.

Bellingham Panda is REALLY putting the screws to its drive through clients, be sure to check your order before pulling away...ordered a one entree bowl with chow mein and sweet fire chicken...got SIX bites of chicken... Do better Panda, try being LESS cheapskates!?!

Finally had a chance to try this chain after hearing about it for decades. Parking is available in the nice large strip mall lot. The inside is surprisingly new and modern. Mind you, I wasn't sure what to expect. Staff were friendly and very helpful, especially since I didn't know how to order. One thing that I thought was nice was that I could get half noodle half rice, instead of either. Everything looked good there. I had trouble deciding. I went for their Beijing beef and their (signature dish) orange chicken. Portion size is very decent. Yes it's food court quality, but the food sure was satisfying. Their fried rice is a bit on the bland side, but the chow mein (fried noodle) was okay. The meal also includes a fortune cookie. I guess that the only comment is that whoever comes up with the fortunes inside the cookies needs some new ideas and possibly some lottery numbers. My cookie told me nothing useful. Definitely a decent option in the strip mall.

We had no problem waiting 5 mins for the chow mein to be done. It's that I paid $9+ for not even 4 pieces of meat over my bed of chow mein and rice. I have never before received so little of the main entrée. My daughter's cub meal was also very minimal and yet still it contained more than the bowl I received. Very disappointing.

Wow, Panda! Way to go on cutting portions! I had more veggies in my chow mein than noodles and your to go boxes shrank! You definitely lost our business!

Not happy with the "website": no description of menu items, other than names & no pricing listed. Definitely needs revamping to entice new customers. Conveniently located right off Sunset, easy in & out. For an initial visit used the drive thru during these Covid times, only one in line there @ the time so it worked well. Was fortunate to have an employee, Gavin, who was friendly & informative as to the "products" as well as being properly masked & gloved, appreciated. Obviously I'm an "Asian fanatic" so expect true flavors. The shrimp were well prepared, nice size, tasty with good amt of nuts but abit overpriced. The rangoon were good.

Another visit and the food was consistently good. We came during the lunch rush. The parking lot…read morewas full. The drive in area was full. And the inside was full. We ordered 2 burgers and a milkshake for takeout. They said the order would take roughly 15-20 minutes which it did. The burger was great. I love the freshness of the veggies and the pickle just does its job of adding that acidity. The banana milkshake was super. They made it using fresh bananas and it was a thick shake which I love. The bathroom is not my favorite. It does its purpose but there is a very strong urine smell and is quite small.

Unfortunately, every chicken taco salad I've ordered since then has been a disappointment. I love that you can customize exactly what you want to add--or leave off--your salad. At around $8, it's a great value. You get a ton of food, and it doesn't hurt that you can add extra romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and other toppings at no additional cost. However, I've come to realize that it all depends on who's preparing it. Bring back the person who made my first salad, because the last three have been so bad that I started to question whether I actually had a great taco salad at Boomer's in the first place. One salad was mostly romaine lettuce with very little of the other ingredients, even though I had requested extra of everything. They also forgot the tortilla strips and the salsa. Come on--it's not a taco salad without salsa! The other two salads I ordered barely had any chicken in them. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I had ordered a salad without chicken. Boomer's, do better and pay attention to the details. Consistency matters. This could have easily been a 4-star review if you had been consistent with the four taco salads I've ordered. The other photos in this review are from years ago when I thought burgers were the only thing worth ordering at Boomer's. Who knew they offered salads too?! Based on that first salad, I'm going to give you another chance, Boomer's. Here's hoping you can make my next salad as memorable as the first so I can give that 4 stars!!

This time we shared one with each kind of meat offered: chicken, pork and beef. I can't say which I liked more because they all were so awesome as ever. We tried something completely new to us this time: a ceviche called aguachile negro. I Googled it: "Aguachile negro is a bold, spicy Mexican seafood dish featuring raw, butterflied shrimp "cooked" in lime juice, blended with a dark, savory sauce made from roasted chiles, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and Maggi seasoning. Served cold with cucumber and red onion, it offers a deep umami flavor and intense heat, often topped with avocado." I'll say it's hot!!! A heat that grows and fills your whole head. Yet, it was so incredibly delicious I weathered the effects. I am not kidding--I don't think I've had a dish I have loved more. The flavor is fantastic, and when I fished for a little raw prawn and put that thing in my mouth, I just thrilled. We had some of their wonderful guacamole as a starter, and I wish now I had saved some to try with the ceviche--it would have been lovely. I will go back.

The salsa and guacamole is always incredibly fresh and I love the way they make their chips. Tasty, fresh, perfectly salted, and homemade. The pico that came wild the dish was delicious and I loved that they added mango to it. My friends got enchiladas which are always a great choice and we ordered mojitos which were very fresh too. I love how their drinks are always beautifully made with lovely garnishes and fruits to add color. Very excited to go back and try different drinks and entrees! Absolutely LOVE this authentic Mexican restaurant.
