When I explained that I had ordered chicken chow mein, he told me those were the noodles that go underneath the vegetables. At that point, I was done arguing about it. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn't much better. It was bland and lacked the flavor and quality I remember Rice Bowl having in the past. What disappointed me even more was the way my complaint was handled. I brought the issue to the owner's attention, and I felt my concerns were simply disregarded rather than taken seriously or addressed. Mistakes happen in restaurants, and I understand that, but how management responds to a customer when something goes wrong says a lot about the establishment. That was actually my very first impression when I visited their restaurant for the first time. This time, I ordered through Uber Eats, and I was genuinely impressed by the attention to detail they put into their packaging. My Thai iced coffee came with a small plastic carrying handle, which made it so much easier to carry, especially when your hands are already full of food and other bags! It may seem like such a small detail, but it's exactly the kind of thoughtful touch that most restaurants overlook. To me, these little things make a huge difference because they show how much a business truly cares about its customers' experience.
