Big shout out to Panda Express at gosford and Pacheco!! I have been ordering big online catering from here and it's the best deal in town! I fed 80 people for about $8 each. I order online for future pick up giving them at least a day or 2 as a heads up. The last few times I've ordered here they have my order ready about 15 mins early which I don't love but it's better than 15 mins late because I try to time up my pick up as close to my event as possible so it doesn't get cold. For this order some of the chowmein seemed a little under done which seems understandable for such a big order, but that's why it's not 5 stars. Service is friendly, they helped me load my big order even though they were pretty busy inside. Panda Express is my go-to when I'm in a rush to get something quick and semi healthy ,So let's just say this wasn't my best Panda Express experience usually Panda Express is my only go-to when I'm trying not to get an upset stomach at the end of a very busy day. Today was the first time visiting this location, clean and convenient as it was really close to my destination maybe not a good idea anyway. I got the teriyaki chicken plate with double fried rice and added the black pepper steak for the first time. I was in a rush today so I didn't even bother to go to the location and Order to taste it before I got the black pepper steak let's just say that was another mistake. By far the black pepper steak is probably one of the worst menu items I've ever eaten at Panda Express it just tasted like artificial meat and slightly spoiled compared to what I'm used to eati g here, so I'm not saying there was anything wrong I'm just saying it didn't taste very good. Second item for today was the teriyaki chicken which was served by a young lady and to be fair she gave me a very good portion so I cannot really complain however it was cold. The person at the checkout counter Isabel C was outstanding she rung me up with a smile and gave me a cup water for my trip and my pickup the asked me if I needed anything else before I left and was just overall gracious as was the rest of the staff. Long story short I won't be getting the black pepper steak again as it was not very good at all and I will never order on the app again I will order in person so I know what I'm getting. I ordered Panda Express from Uber Eats and it came from this location. I ordered a bowl of chow mein and orange chicken. I also ordered a bottle of Coke Zero. 1) Let's start with the bottle of Coke Zero: The bottle of Coke Zero appeared to come a little different. When I went to go turn to get the cap off the bottle, it didn't sizzle or appear to release any air noise. Basically it didn't make the noise a bottle would normally make when you open it. The bottle of Coke Zero appeared to have been opened already and the cap tightly screwed back on. I dumped out the soda and threw the bottle away. 2) Next let's talk about my bowl of chow mein and orange chicken: The bowl of food wasn't warm. It was more on the cold/"I've been sitting there" temp. The noodles tasted weird and something you weren't sure if you should be eating. The orange chicken was cold and not good. I took one bite and ended up throwing the entire bowl away. Overall, never returning back to this Panda Express location and highly encouraging others to seek else where. Even though Panda doesn't have some of their original options, I'm still a fan. I remember back in the day when there was only 1 Panda Express in Bakersfield located in the mall and it was the place to go for Chinese food. Now it's literally in every corner popping up like Starbucks. This is the closest drive-thru location for me so it's a plus. There's one even closer by Walmart, but sometimes I don't feel like getting down, so this location seems like a good option. This location is new so just like any new facility it looks really nice and clean inside. Staff seems to be okay. They seem rushed. The only downside about this place is that every time I have visited, there's always a shortage. Some days there's no more rice or certain items are finished. Since this is a common issue here you would think they would stock up more, but maybe because it's a new location they are still trying to figure out their issues. read more

Ok so this is a tough one to write, debating between being nice and being by honest. I always love Panda Express. The food is usually hot and fresh and delicious. My favorite part is that they post all the calories so it makes it easy. And sometimes sad. I always ask for a sample of the orange chicken because it's so damn good, but too high in calories for me to eat a whole portiSo I just get a taste each time, and then order veggies instead of rice or noodles, and beef and broccoli, string bean chicken, or mushroom chicken. All delicious! And now the bad... during my visit last week the carrots in my veggies were rotten/moldy. I showed the manager and she offered me a new meal. The new meal was great. This Panda had been soooo good and the last couple of times, it has just fallen apart. The first bad experience involved fulfilling online orders incorrectly. Somebody working the line is clearly a half wit. No need for specifics - suffice to say the orders were wrong. The food was a notch below previous visits (ie: Sweet Fire Chicken small hard pieces rather than big, meaty pieces). But this last time? Ugh. Again with the incorrect orders! This time two of the orders included a mystery dish with what maybe had green beans in it? Looked it up on their site to determine what precisely this mystery dish was and it looked nothing like any of the pictured dishes online. And it was a bit gross, too. Maybe a composite of leftovers nobody wanted? Who knows. My wife called to complain and Emily offered a refund. No refund came. My wife called after a few days and was informed weekend transactions are done Monday and Tuesday and to give it time. A second call said give it until Friday. Still nothing. You know, Emily, rather than lie, just admit that no refund will come our way. I would appreciate the honesty - much better to screw me over to my face rather than a sneak attack. Regardless to say, we'll give another location a try. None seem to be rated well and I can't speak to every location's food quality or business practices. I can certainly speak to the attributes of the location at Gosford Road - ROTTEN! Rather dishonest. Care and quality severely lacking. As I mentioned to employee that one was a 3 item plate, she disregarded me and said I just needed to tell her what sides I wanted. Let me just say, a 3/5 isn't necessarily bad. It's average. Above average actually. 3/5 fits panda just right. This location is near many other shopping places and has plenty of parking. It is also always busy because of its prime location. The line is always around the restaurant so remember that if you want to dine-in. People will very likely be standing next to your table waiting in line. Meaning peoples butts in your face... lol. BUT, because it's so busy, the food is always freshly cooked. I mean, they're constantly churning out entrees and chow main and rice. All the love long day. And, if you feel your entree looks like it's been sitting there all day, they'll make you a fresh batch! I don't really ever crave panda but their menu has pretty decent options and they're not bad tasting. Not at all. Almost tasty lol. The fresh veggies and yummy (sugar-filled) sauces help. Went in to pick up a order that I did through the app. While waiting watched the manager get handed $100 bill by the cashier while she was wearing gloves she checked the hundred dollar bill, then handed it back and didn't replace her gloves or wash her hands.
