Waited for over 5 minutes at the front counter - only person in the store - and nobody acknowledged me or took my order. 6 different people walked right in front of me - one of which was putting food out. This location is still only carry out or drive through- no dine in. I went around noon so it was busy in the drive thru line however it moved very quickly. I ordered my usual - orange chicken and chow mien. Panda is hit or miss honestly on quality/flavor however today it was DELICIOUS! Very flavorful, hot, saucy, you could tell it was made fresh which is preferred of course. I also tried the mango passionfruit unsweet tea which was pretty good. They are still doing drive thru only as far as I could tell which was fine with me. They weren't busy so got my food quickly. I got the rice bowl with mushroom chicken. Food was still warm when I got home. I liked that they also mix in some zucchini. The vegetable spring rolls are good as always but they are not giving the usual sauce (due to COVID I imagine) so I was given 2 packets of plum sauce. Panda express is one of my favorite fast food restaurants. (In my opinion) its not authentic Chinese food, but it's still good. This location was clean and had a friendly staff. All the food options were fully stocked and fresh. I sampled a few items and selected the Teriyaki chicken with rice and steamed veggies. The line was not line was not long and I was able to get my food very quick. I wanted to enjoy fresh air, so I decided to eat outside. I looked around the seating to make sure it was clean and comfortable. The tables were wiped down and the ground was free of debris. Once seated, I dove right in. I requested the sauce on top of the chicken and on the side. The veggies were cooked just right, but I also wished their veggies had more flavor..kinda bland. Not sure why but card wasn't accepted at the drive through and just the attitude of the staff was horrible on July 23 2023 at 1200. Moving extremely slow like a pouting would. The handful of times I've been here, this Panda Express has gotten it right and the food was really good for what you'd expect. Upon my last visit (school fundraiser night) the place was pretty busy but the manager working along side the staff was marshalling everything around and everybody was working together. I like the Kung Pao Chicken and the Beef and Broccoli. Their family deal is the day to go if you're feeding four or more. I have been to many different Pandas. This one is usually good. There were just small things about my last visit that made me leave 3 stars. Food: The food is always good. However, this time I got the honey shrimp and the orange chicken. The orange chicken was fine. It was the honey shrimp that I had some issues with. The end of the shrimp was not covered like the rest of it. I know this might be a little picky but every other time I have gotten the shrimp it has been completely covered. Service: The service was very good. They were fast and very helpful. We did not have to wait on any of our food which is always nice. Environment: The environment was relaxed and there were a lot of people there on their lunch or having lunch with a friend. The one thing I do have to complain about is that they had a leaky ceiling and no bucket or anything to catch it. This made for two less tables since the leak was in between the two. I can really only comment on one bite of food. Needing to find a non-fried item, I planned to get their teriyaki chicken. If you've never been here (it was my first time), know that it is served cafeteria-style, where all the food is already prepared. My husband already had his food before I found out that they were out of the CT and it would be eight minutes before they had more. So basically I would have to watch him eat alone or his food would be cold by the time mine came out. The staff was completely indifferent that there was nothing I could eat. Hubby ended up eating his food quickly, then we went somewhere else for my dinner. I tried a bite of his vegetables, and they were ok, but nothing special. My husband is not a huge eater, but after the pick-two combo he ordered, he was still hungry enough to eat at the next place we went. This was my first time here and only because it was late and my fast favs had closed. Hubby has lunch here once in awhile since its close to his work and fast enough for lunch. He always gets the black pepper chicken with fried rice and warned me nothing spectacular but okay. I didn't realize it was buffet style and most items looked overcooked and sitting to long on the steam tables. Everything available was fried, lots of oil, bland flavors and I continued sampling until everyone was frustrated with me. I finally gave up and ordered the same thing my husband ordered. It was okay for fast Chinese food but I'll have to pass if he wants me to return. I compared the quality and price to what I could be dining on from Saigon, Spice Nation or Peking for the same or less money. Unfortunately all closed before we could reach them. I've only started frequenting Panda Express when moving to Indiana, it's a lot better than where I used to stay. The food is pretty good.. you can always count on consistency. We usually order the teriyaki chicken for the kids and we add on some shrimp and steak entrees for us adults. I have been to this location several times with a similar experience every time. Rude staff. They will charge you for a 3 plate item, give you only 2, minimal rice, and then argue with you about it being more than what you can clearly see on your plate. You can also expect a very long wait especially if you are going through the drive through window. Cleanliness also appears to be an issue as well since not a single table in the restaurant was clean, garbage cans were full, and floor was dirty. The place was not busy when I was there. If you don't mind walking in on a sticky floor not cleaned by rude staff to get a to go order where you will pay more for less, then this location is for you.
