Asked when will rice or greens be available and did not get an answer. The worker just looked around and moved onto the next customer. Had half of the entrees available. Broccoli beef ratio was ridiculous. Black pepper beef was super salty. Workers were super rude from start to finish; seemed like they didn't want to even be there. Not even the slightest smile from one employee. How is there over 7 employees in the small kitchen but no products available? Urgency is not a priority here. Props to the workers here because out of all the food places in this air port it has the biggest line. It had a line the wrapped around the food court. It was ridiculous. But they are flying through orders which is super impressive while also with a smile. The quality of the food was not impacted by their speed which is awesome. Every time I pass through ATL and I have time, I go to this Panda Express. I got here around 9:50am and there was already a line waiting for the restaurant to open at 10am. I got a 2 entree plate with Broccoli Beef and Chicken with String beans. I asked for the Power greens and little of fried rice. The meal was, as usual, delicious....well made....well seasoned. This was a terrible experience. There were three staff members working the grill, plus one working as a server, but no cashier. The line was at least 40 customers long and didn't move an inch for more than 10 minutes. When the cashier arrived, the cooks promptly left, and there was still only one person working as a server. By the time I got to the cashier, my food wasn't there. So I had to go back and order a second time. The cashier then left, leaving me to hope that my card scanned correctly. I am sure this is a difficult job, but this was almost the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

I never have high expectations for airport food, but this was a whole new level of disappointment. All the normal Panda items are on the menu, so we order as though they exist. We are then told none of those options are available. We went through probably 6 different items before the guy spread his arms and said what's here is what we have. Umm ok are the other items going to become available or do you just serve what you feel like cooking? It's a completely open kitchen so you can see the 2 cooks in the back dinking around NOT actually cooking anything while the 2 guys serving are fighting for their lives with no less than 50 people in line. We make our way to the register and ask for fountain sodas, but sadly the fountain drink machine isn't working. Thankfully the guy working the register could tell this was not a good day for anyone in line so offered us a free bottle of water. He was the only pleasant person in the place. Best tasting Chinese food I've had in two weeks. Was in terminal E lounge during a flight layover when I saw someone with takeout Chinese food. Asked him where he got it, and he gave me directions. Must have been at least 300 yards, as it took a brisk 5 minute walk to get there. Got in line with 17 people ahead of me, and was debating whether to wait. None of the 17 people was Asian, which was not a good sign. 10 minutes later, I'm second in the fast food line. Shapely stewardess lady ahead of me orders vegetables instead of rice or noodles to go with her entrees. I figured that if I was to get in as good a shape as her, I should do the same! Ordered the three entrée dish with kung pao chicken, Beijing beef and black pepper chicken, for $9.80 before tax. More expensive than even in Silicon Valley. Took it back to the lounge, where we are so hungry after our overseas flight, that I don't even have time to take a picture. We both dig in. The Beijing beef is a sweet sauce beef, with a covering of sugar cooked into it. Back in CA you have to pay a $1 surcharge for it. Small portion, but tasty and not overwhelmingly sugary. The Kung pao chicken comes with the usual red bell peppers and sliced onions, along with cooked squash amid red chili peppers to give it some kick. Best of the three dishes. The black pepper chicken is on the bland side and is the most disappointing of the three dishes, as it lacks spiciness which I was seeking. Instead of rice, we eat the broccoli and cauliflower to mix in with the meats. And finish the dish in record time, just before boarding, but not before another passenger asks us where we got our food. I have been to Panda Express in different states and different airports. When you order a plate with 3 entrees, they r supposed to give you the third entree in a little box. Not here. She put all three on a plate. Small amount. They are cheating. The workers and cashier also have ugly attitude. They seem like they don't wanna work. They've opened back up, but the selections are extremely limited. You have your staples chow mein, fried rice, veggies. As far as the sides go, you have a selection of fire shrimp, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, crab ragoons, egg rolls, and spring rolls. I think a lot of patrons try to get 1/2 and 1/2 meaning half chow mein and half fried rice to start their plate, but after seeing how small the portions are, they end up going back asking for more of each. This causes a disruption in the line. Certainly, the service could be a little better and some of this can be caught up front if the first server is a little more clear about the portions from the start. But it is what it is. I'm just glad I can get my chow mein and orange chicken again. I've missed them for the longest when Panda Express was closed. read more

Service was rude. I had attitude from the cashier. Next, I've been to several panda express restaurants and when you get a meal and the menu says entrée plus 1 side. The side is NOT the rice. When I went to the register and asked for my side in addition to my entrée I was told my rice was the side. WTH! Then the price on the menu board said $9.63. I was charged $12 and change. Again WTH! I got the entrée and nothing else. Ga tax is 7%. I won't go there again. There are too many other options right next to this place. No wonder there was nobody in line at lunch time. Uggh read more

For the most part as a regular customer I'll choose Panda Express for a non home cooking night and normally I have had good experiences and good things to say about this restaurant band, so my comment is not about the food it is about the delivery service I put in an order spent almost $30 requested delivery and a driver never showed up but marked on the app that they had completed the delivery I called every viable sauce in town to report the driver and this bad negative service one representative from the Panda Express corporation made it right, her name was Miss Tameka Jay she took care of the matter resolved my issue and restored my faith in the brand. Worst Panda Express experience I have ever had. I have been a fan of Panda Express for 20plus years primarily for their consistency. Well this place failed big time.The food looked "watery" as I have never seen before. As I was still processing this, the server asked what I was having, I looked down and saw about half of the food selections were completely empty and asked for the noodles. She said "no noodles, only rice". I have never been told at a Panda Express that there are no noodles, if not cooked they usually have me wait for a new batch. Not a choice here apparently. As I looked past her to the kitchen area behind her, I saw one of the cooks reach into a container he had just cooked, grab a piece of chicken with his bare hands, turn to not face us, and put it in his mouth . Located inside the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport this was actually a pretty positive experience, all things considered. (+) Prices are extremely and surprisingly fair considering that you are smack dab in the middle of the airport. I believe 2- 2 item meals plus 2 large drinks cost just a shade under $20. For airport prices, I will take that all day, any day. (+) Fast, friendly service. There was a line, but it moved relatively quickly and by the time we figured out what to order, it was time to speak to the employee taking our order. (+) Food was fresh and tasted good....for Panda. lol I mean, keep your expectations reasonable and you will be fine. It is still Panda, but it was just fine and did the trick during the layover. I can't believe so many people are complaining about the price. It was less than nine bucks for a pretty large plate of food and we are in an airport! I guess NYC has ruined me. I think breakfast is overrated and I was connecting at 9 am and Panda Express had non-egg food so I got in line. One thing I didn't like was that the person serving me and the cashier were on their phones. At least the person getting my food got off to scoop my noodles, but the cashier didn't even look at me and was texting the whole time. I hate that, it's so rude!
