The fortune cookies were not the freshest in the bag which was a slight disappointment but an easy thing to get over. Sauces were in ample supply and more were available at the register if needed. Forks were tucked in the bag which made it easy to sneak a sample before even getting home. Three of us ate and still had leftovers for the next day. The portions were large and it was so good. I ordered Gen Tso's Chicken, hot and sour soup, fried rice, pork lo mein and a shrimp spring roll. The General Tso's chicken was awful. The chicken was a mushy clump of cubed, fried chicken. The chicken was no longer crisp (I've brought home or had delivered Gen Tso's and Orange Chicken in which the batter was still crisp, so no excuse for this when I was only about 3 miles from home). The chicken was swimming in a thick, overly sweet sauce that had WAY too much cornstarch. The fried rice *looked* like it would be good, but I have a feeling the dark color was mostly from dark/black soy sauce which mostly gives color to a dish. The rice was literally tasteless. I had to add some low-sodium soy to give it some flavor. The pork lo mein was equally as tasteless as the fried rice. The slices of roast pork were so dry that without dipping it into some sauce (which looked like extra oil on the bottom of the container), it got stuck in my throat. I make my own roast pork for making my own egg rolls and it's a ton more flavorful than this was. The shrimp roll has some shrimp in it, though I couldn't really taste it. Biting into the spring roll released a bunch of oil onto the wrapper. Not very appetizing. The ONLY decent thing in the order was the hot and sour soup. It had a good balance of heat, and vinegar. I think I tasted some bamboo shoots, and there may have been some mushrooms, but really good hot & sour (like I've had in Chinatown in NY, San Francisco and Washington D.C.) has tree ear mushrooms (also known as black fungus), dried lily flowers, and other ingredients that I didn't see or taste in this soup. But it was NOT too thick which was great as some restaurants use too much cornstarch. This was a lunch combo (Gen Tso, fried rice, hot and sour soup) and the lo mein and shrimp roll was separate. All in all, the total was just over $24 and definitely not worth it. I can't see going back to this restaurant again.

Instead of telling me they were short-staffed, out of certain items, or close to closing, I was given food that appeared rushed and poorly prepared. The meat was burnt and extremely dry with little to no sauce, and the rice was undercooked and wet. This was not a cheap order, and we did not receive the quality we paid for. I called and spoke with Manager Michael Warner. Before I even had the chance to fully explain, he immediately apologized and offered to replace the meal with two complimentary entrées. I appreciated how professionally and respectfully he handled the situation. We returned on Thursday to use the replacements, and the experience was even worse. The manager, Sylvia, was rude, dismissive, and made us feel as though we did not belong there. She repeatedly questioned whether we had eaten there before and whether we knew what the food was supposed to taste like. We have been customers many times, and this restaurant was one of our regular go-to places. She also told us we could not order our meat well-done because it would be dry, even though we have ordered it that way before. She then stated that if the food was cooked, it could not be remade. I have personally witnessed other customers complain and have their meals corrected, so this felt unfair and insulting. Our waitress was also inattentive. She rarely checked on us, we had to go find her, and I had to get my own drink from the bar. My fiancé and I are both working professionals, but no customer should have to explain their occupation or background to receive basic respect. We came back in good faith after being served an unacceptable meal, and instead of being treated with courtesy, we were questioned, dismissed, and made uncomfortable. Saturday 1:44pm…read more3/8/25 I needed some wings in my life today. Decided on Bonchon because of their flavorful soy garlic wings. I also ordered rice and kimchi. I've eaten here at the Bell Creek location many times but this is the first time I actually dined in . I usually take it home. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the wait by the window and it was pretty busy so I decided to ask about seating. When he said there was only two people working I decided to place a to go order, but he said he could get a table cleaned off for me and did so immediately . So I stayed. He was very nice and accommodating. Much appreciated. In the dining room picture you see a lot of seating but it says there's only two people working. They have to limit the very understandable. Serving of rice and kimchi seems to be bigger when you dine and then when you get it to go, so that's good to know. Everything is delicious as usual. A family friendly or nice meal with your boo. The atmosphere is good for everyone.
