I second what Tom B. said. Service was good. I would return just to have the sugared scones.

General Review: Time…read moreof dining: 1:00PM on Friday, May 24th Food Review: I tried a bite of everything in the restaurant. The fish and shrimp dishes taste very off. All meat was cold. Heating appliance might be broken, repair or replacement is needed. I do not recommend anything that has to do with meat of any kind here. The fruit they served was old, despite me arriving an hour after opening. The broccoli was fine in a dish, though I like cold / luke-warm broccoli, so I do not mind personally. Noodles had too much oil for my taste, but that's to be expected, thus they were the best dish in the house. I have had to actively spit out about 25% of the food, for safety reasons. Service Review: Service was fine. Do not order water as a drink here. It is tap, and tap water in this area can make you throw up if you aren't used to it. I puked in my mouth myself, I wish I requested soda. They took our plates twice, which is a good rate of service since we had about 2.5 plates each. No words are spoken other than a thank you. No greetings were available to us. Atmosphere Review: The vibe was extremely judgmental for some reason. I was constantly getting stares from other people, no one had a sense of class or peace of mind. There was constant stress in the air from both staff and dining customers. There is no thought in general aesthetic here, you are better off getting food from a food truck, at least it will taste better, and be better feeling in general. - Notes: After coming home, I was struck with very bad food illness. It has lasted till even today. If it continues for 2 days longer, I will be suing. At least at the date I have given, I would not recommend feeding your children this food, as I'm deeming it unsafe and risky. I have travelled all over the United States of America over the past 10 years, and this has been one of the worst. I'm a large Asian cuisine fan, but I would rather have American School meatloaf than this. The price is cheap if you are sitting in. It is cheap for a reason. My advice: Save your money and respect yourself more as a person. You will be paying for the food, as well as medicine to recover from the meal. Go somewhere else please. Traveling 30 miles by car will be more worth it than this. Trust me.

My daughter really wanted to try this place out. After working in a Plainview restaurant for 2…read moreyears, not once were we visited by a city health inspector, so I can be picky. You should be, too, considering all of these restaurant owners in Plainview do not have a city liability system to follow. Most do a pretty damn good job considering! Well, my first impression was not great. The front glass door was just gross. I shrugged it off, maybe they've been busy. We sat down and the ladies who waited on us were nice enough. They are the only reason I am giving them the one star as they were sweet and helpful. But, I immediately noticed that the decorative glass around the restaurant was covered in fingerprints, food, probably boogers. Yes! Probably, this place has not been cleaned in so long y'all!! It's very dimly lit. But, if you take a moment to *really* look around, there's cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, food splatters on everything. It's hidden pretty well with the brownish/orangy faux marble wallpaper. The floor hadn't been swept/mopped in ages. I was immediately ICKED OUT!! Guys, if this is what the customers see, what in the world does that kitchen look like?!? We went and got some food from the buffet. My daughter thought the food was the best thing ever, so I'll give them that. She ate everything deep-fried bc she's 10 lol. I avoided meat and seafood at all costs. Food in a buffet is supposed to be out no longer than 4 hours, but that's *if and only if* it's being kept at a certain temperature. With the way the restaurant looked, I absolutely did not trust that they were following safe food-handling procedures. My stomach turned the whole time. I really could not enjoy the food. This is by-far the filthiest restaurant I've ever been to. I'm sure there's worse, but this was my worst. Every time there was a spare moment, the girls were on their phones. That's pretty typical these days and doesn't bother me, they weren't busy. But given the nasty appearance of the place, there was PLENTY to do.

It's the best of the two in plainview. Food good enough and affordable. I like the bread shrimp and…read morethe sweet souffles
