General Review: Time of dining: 1:00PM on Friday, May 24th Food Review: I tried a bite of everything in the restaurant. The fish and shrimp dishes taste very off. All meat was cold. Heating appliance might be broken, repair or replacement is needed. I do not recommend anything that has to do with meat of any kind here. The fruit they served was old, despite me arriving an hour after opening. The broccoli was fine in a dish, though I like cold / luke-warm broccoli, so I do not mind personally. Noodles had too much oil for my taste, but that's to be expected, thus they were the best dish in the house. I have had to actively spit out about 25% of the food, for safety reasons. Service Review: Service was fine. Do not order water as a drink here. It is tap, and tap water in this area can make you throw up if you aren't used to it. I puked in my mouth myself, I wish I requested soda. They took our plates twice, which is a good rate of service since we had about 2.5 plates each. No words are spoken other than a thank you. No greetings were available to us. Atmosphere Review: The vibe was extremely judgmental for some reason. I was constantly getting stares from other people, no one had a sense of class or peace of mind. There was constant stress in the air from both staff and dining customers. There is no thought in general aesthetic here, you are better off getting food from a food truck, at least it will taste better, and be better feeling in general. - Notes: After coming home, I was struck with very bad food illness. It has lasted till even today. If it continues for 2 days longer, I will be suing. At least at the date I have given, I would not recommend feeding your children this food, as I'm deeming it unsafe and risky. I have travelled all over the United States of America over the past 10 years, and this has been one of the worst. I'm a large Asian cuisine fan, but I would rather have American School meatloaf than this. The price is cheap if you are sitting in. It is cheap for a reason. My advice: Save your money and respect yourself more as a person. You will be paying for the food, as well as medicine to recover from the meal. Go somewhere else please. This is where to go to fulfill a Chinese food craving. It appears the Fuzhou Buffet, even though the building sign hasn't changed, is now called the Happy Garden Buffet. Online ordering and pickup is a breeze. Great site. My partner picked up the food and said the store-front person seemed like an aloof teenager, but whatever. We liked most of what we ordered. Fluffy fried rice, lemon chicken, fried wontons, and crab Rangoon. I did not like the Lo Mein noodles but it might be personal preference for more sodium. I was glad nothing turned out too oily. I appreciated how they loaded our takeout bag with condiments and lined the bottom with a piece of cardboard. There is something special about the traditional American takeout boxes and fortune cookies. Some other places have been skimpy on these. Pretty Delicous food, not expensive, and affordable. Service was good. And the feel of the building was a bit dated

Stopped in during a thunderstorm and this place was packed and people were still coming in. I was seated promptly and my drink was served quickly. I tried a lot of the food and nothing was disappointing. Interestingly the noodles had a smoked flavor to it which was different yet delicious. The chicken wings are amazing with whatever sauce that is that they put on there. Everything had their own unique taste. Will definitely be back. read more

All good reviews from 2-7 years ago. I had the WORST experience on oriental ever. Traveled all over the world and Orient. This garbage had not been seasoned and the food in the steam tables were not hot. The meats were over cooked to the point of being unable to chew. Even the lemonade was undrinkable...mildew is somewhere in the ice dispenser or lemonade line. Don't waste your $18. read more

Quality Chinese food, I have gone here multiple times and have never been disappointed

I had very low expectations coming to this place. My wife was craving chinese food and this one was showing up on Yelp in this small town we're spending the night on a cross country trip I was pleasantly surprised. The place is bigger than what i expected. There were at least 20 booths that can sit 4-6 people each. The place was clean and the staff was constantly putting more food in the trays Im not sure if it's because it's Friday night,but there were many customers of all ages (Families, etc) We paid $25.26 for the two of us including tax and drinks (before tips) There was mongolian steak station that you can customize your order besides the picture im posting with this post If you are in Clovis and looking for a local chinese buffet restaurant, i recommend this. read more

First time in! Ordered the hot and sour soup, some fried dumplings and sweet and sour chicken. Everything was delicious and portions were great! Had our food ready for take-out within 10 min. Gentleman behind counter was also kind. very pleased and will definitely be going back. read more

Tried this because I was told by a local that is was inexpensive and ok food. The price was great, especially for a weekend day, under twenty for two including drinks. The food was limited, not a lot of variety and the desert bar was lacking anything that was tasty. The Mongolian grill was the best part, although the choice of ingredients was limited. Service was good and the restaurant and bathrooms were clean, if a bit worn. I will try somewhere else next time I am in town. read more

Fuzhou is a typical Chinese buffet. They had a decent selection but no where near overwhelming. I enjoyed all the food I had but I really hoped for some additional entree style foods instead of the large amount of appetizer like foods. I didn't have the Mongolian grill but it looked really tasty. I had tea with my dinner and it was nice and the decor was clean. Again, nothing fancy but it didn't feel trashy or gross. Overall, I've been to buffets that were better and buffets that are worse. This was a very middle of the road experience. read more

Just ate here but do frequently, the food is good, my favorite is the clear soup. The resturant itself is pretty run down and in need of a thorough cleaning and new carpet. Especially new carpet. It's not a 5 buffet at the Bellagio, but for Clovis, it's not too bad. read more

Was pleasantly surprised finding this place while passing thru Clovis. Everything on the steamer tables was fresh and seasoned well. The cold food was good that's including the sushi items. Sampled a lot of the things. Then did the Mongolian. I was a little apprehensive only because there is no seasoning to add. However the person that cooks it did a excellent job and hit the spice level I requested. First one I have seen use butter over oil. And I have to say I liked the flavor. Standard, go in hungry, come out fed. At one time, maybe less than two years ago, I might have given this place a 4 or 5. However, the staff have changed and newer ones are very emotionally blunt and boarder line rude. Pro: quick to get in, seated and eating. The food is typically well stocked for a buffet and and the grill is pretty fast. Plenty of options for either buffet or grill. Cons: as I stated before, staff almost knock this to a 2 star. Any question you may have is met with cold one liners or hand gestures. If you are looking for a small town feel, you won't find it here. I've ordered the sweet and sour chicken ( the sauce is lacking in oomph, but not bad) the sesame chicken ( average) Gen. Tso's chicken ( spicy version of sesame, but not as good) the orange flavor chicken ( very good), and their fried pork wontons (meh) the fried rice ( I make better) and their regular white rice ( a bit overcooked, but definitely edible).
