I saw great reviews and prices, and I was like BAM-SOLD! Kung Pao Me UPP babyy! So I went all in. Being new to the area, and supporting a local business, I was alllllll about it. I ordered: 1 won tons with cream cheese 2.egg drop soup 3. Beef with garlic sauce 4. Kung pao 3 ingredients 5. Soft noodles 5. Salt n pepper chicken wings 6.Fried Rice. Out of all of our order, the best thing that came out of there was the damn pre-packaged fortune cookies. Everything had no flavor, literally NO flavor. How is that humanely possible??? Well it is. I felt I was eating food from a nursing home (not that I have ever had any from there but you can imagine). The damage? $70. I was out of $70 hard working dollars. Sandy (the owner) and her family have always treated us well, they are a sweet family business with really delicious authentic Chinese food! The portions are also huge, so this is great for large families! Our go to dishes are: the house soft noodles, beef egg foo young, sesame chicken, salt and pepper chicken wings and their hot and sour soup. To drink, I got iced water since soda just bloats me up. To eat, I had the beef with green peppers with steamed rice. This dish was good but I was still hungry after eating my dish. Please add more rice and meat to my dish. My daughter got the noodle soup. She was hungry but the noodles were soft. I helped my daughter eat this soup. It was filled with large shrimp, mushrooms, celery and carrots. The noodles were soft. My daughter enjoyed the noodles. She liked the soup base too. There's plenty of tables inside. This is a hard review to write because I like to say positive things. But, more importantly, I like to write honestly. We decided to try Panda Chef today for the first time. They have been around for years and have four stars on Yelp so we were hopeful that the food would be good. We ordered Lumpia, House Fried Rice and Vegetable Egg Foo Young. I'm sorry to say that I didn't like anything, not even the Sweet and Sour sauce and the packaged Fortune Cookies. The Lumpia was made with chicken which struck me as odd and it did not have a good flavor; I took just a couple small bites and gave the rest to our little dogs. The rice was pretty tasteless and not improved when I added soy sauce. The Egg Foo Young, although loaded with lots of vegetables, was really soggy and, like the rice, was not flavorful. Additionally, the Egg Foo Young was so poorly packaged that much of the gravy leaked out of the container and into the bag. My husband's opinion of the food was that it was "okay" and coming from him, that's not saying much. The woman who answered the phone and took the order wasn't rude but she was definitely not friendly. On a positive note, the portions, for the price, were very generous. I thought this place would be more like a chain then authentic Chinese food. But I was surprised to find it nothing like Panda Express or other chains at all. I was on a mission trying to find some general tso chicken for my husband because it's his favorite and it's his bday weekend. I literally called 3 other places I thought that had it but didn't, and ended up stumbling upon this place. I called and placed our order of the General tso chicken, beef and broccoli, chicken fried rice and beef chow mein. Our food was ready in 10 minutes for take out! Everything was absolutely fantastic. My favorite was the beef chow mein and chicken fried rice. Both were absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are HUGE!!!! And all four plates of food literally costed less than 30 bucks. For the amount of food it was definitely worth it!!! My husband had his general tso chicken craving satisfied. Everything was wonderful and great UNTIL THE NEXT DAY. The reason I am taking three stars off is because the next day after I heated up and ate the left overs, it made me a little sick. Like nauseated & queasy. But the food the day before was totally fine!!! I don't know what happened with my stomach that didn't agree with the food anymore. And I wish I could say it was just me, but my husband had the same thing happen to him he was constantly on the toilet while I kept feeling like throwing up......
