This has quickly become our favorite spot in Chula Vista! We first came for breakfast and had such a great experience that we came back for dinner the same day--and we're so glad we did. The food is absolutely delicious, with a great variety of Italian dishes to choose from. Sergio went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. We also loved the atmosphere--it's a beautiful space to relax and enjoy a meal. Next time, we're definitely checking out their BBQ spot! Highly recommend this place!

This review is for my bar experience (will be back for dinner next time!). I ordered the Watermelon Berry Sangria which was delicious and visually appealing. Charlie, one of the bartenders for the night, provided excellent customer service. Not only was he friendly and quick to make my drink, but he was knowledgeable about the food menu and daily night specials as well. Note: this establishment is still "Farmers Table" in the morning/afternoon and then transitions to "Acqua E Farina" as an Italian fine dining experience evening/nights.

I had the chef's special cheese wheel, 100/10. Our server Charlie made everything even better. Amazing food and customer service

Celebratory meal with the hubby today. We found this nice Italian restaurant in Chula Vista. I came across their page on IG. We had such a wonderful dinner experience. Our waitress was very attentive and their food was amazing. We can't wait to go back to try something else. * Fruttura di Calamari * Spigola * Prosciutto e Burrata #DiningWithTheAndersons #CiboItaliano #MANGIA #Churchiversary #Foodies

Should have went to the OG place across the street. My husband wanted to try this place out for his birthday, so we made reservations. The place was literally empty when we arrived, there were only like 4 other people there. The host and wait staff are really friendly and attentive, nothing wrong there. More people started arriving as the night progressed. We ordered PANE FRESCO, HOUSE SALAD, RIGATONI BOLOGNESE. The bread was amazing and unfortunately the highlight of our meal. The house salad was ok, interesting choice of flavors, we added chicken to it and the chicken was good. We had high hopes for the main dish because our waiter talked up a big game about how the pasta is fresh and made in house daily and how everything is authentic. The pasta was horrible, literally inedible. It was way undercooked, tasted like flour and on top of that the ragú was extremely salty. It was like we were eating salt with a side of ragú. The waiter was so nice so we didn't say anything, plus there were tables very close to us who hadn't received their meals yet and we didn't want to make a scene. So we just paid the bill and took the loss. Such a bummer, we definitely will not be returning.

Got the rigatoni bolognese(pictured). It was great. The calamari was nothing special didn't taste like anything like no flavor really. The bread was ELITE best I've had in a while. Would go back for that. Service was okay nothing special. Vibes were good. Sitting outside was really nice

I am always in the hunt for a carbonara that tastes like the one I tasted in Italy. I am excited to say that the Aqua E Farina's Spaghetti Carbonara comes pretty close! The texture is just right, not too saucy, it's rich and savory...it's just right. The taste of the carbonara takes me back to the streets of Trastevere. Our other favorite dish is the Prosciutto E Burrata pizza. The crust is thin and crispy but the pizza is filling. Aside from the carbonara, what really drew us in was the happy hour. They offer $5 off the appetizers and pizzas. Wine (including the sangrias) and beer are only $5 from Monday thru Thursday 4-6pm. Let me take a moment and talk sangria. I am not a big fan of sangrias because they are typically very sweet, however, the classic sangria here is the perfect balance. They even offer a watermelon and mango version. The restaurant itself is cute with bottles of limoncello and Aperol lined up as you walk in. The place can get a bit loud when eating inside but the quaint outdoor patio is a bit more intimate. The service is incredible. The servers tended to our needs and constantly checked in on us. One of the servers even reminded us that happy hour was about to end so we could put in another round of drinks at that price. If you're looking for a carbonara that reminds you of the tastes of Italy and a great sangria in the middle of the week, this is the spot.

Had a GREATTT experience here. The food was a 10/10 and the service was definitely on par. Our server was so friendly and sweet. I think the owner spoke to my friend and I and ensured the guests all around were doing ok. I had a really good time and will definitely be back. 100/10 recommend the sangrias and their cheese wheel that they had that night was to die for . The appetizers (bread and also the calamari) were good as well. Portions were not stingy at all lol. The place itself is really cute and you can either dress up or dress down. Just the ambiance of the place is really cute and also good for taking pictures

As beautiful as its name, Acqua E Farina is a quaint little Italian restaurant in Chula Vista. It was so delightful to enjoy our first real meal here while visiting. Greeted by beloved server, Sergio, it was a pleasant experience as soon as we walked in (thank you for Sergio!) They are dog friendly! And offer cute outdoor patio dining. Most importantly, their food. Their food is SO delicious. I chose their Cacao E Pepe pizza and it was so good! Chunks of truffle smothered in cheese and cacao e Pepe sauce. Thin sliced, but so buttery and flavorful. Hubbie opted for their chef special, black ink spaghetti with seafood. Man, it was delicious. Bread tray for $4 definitely worth it to get. They offer other tempting dishes such as porterhouse and branzino. We just may go back during our visit because we enjoyed it here that much. Bravo, Acqua E Farino!

f you are looking for amazing, authentic Italian food, this is the place to go. Every dish we tried at Acqua E Farina was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. Beyond the great food, the restaurant has a wonderful, cozy vibe that makes for a perfect night out. Highly recommend! Absolutely loved Acqua E Farina! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. It's easily one of my new favorite spots for incredible Italian food. I will definitely be back!!

We brought my whole family here last year for my wife's birthday and we recently came back for the last day of restaurant week. Both times everything was amazing! Service has always been great. They're knowledgeable about any questions we had. It's really cool to get to see where they're hand making the pasta too. We've tried to try as many dishes between our two visits as we could and it's all been effing delicious. I do t think you can go wrong with ordering anything off their menu. The cost is higher than most other places in the area, but you definitely get your money's worth. This place is booooomb!

There were 6 of us. The gal who was doing security gave us menus and said the bartender would be by and they do table service. She gave us menus but no water. We waited for more than 10 minutes and watched two bartenders behind the bar never come over, not even greet us, bring us water, say "hey I will be with you" ... nothing. And they weren't rushed or slammed, nobody was ordering, they just didn't come out to us or even look at us, bring us waters, nothing. And by the way, their menu is disgustingly overpriced. $25 cocktails (very basic) Average cost for a GLASS OF WINE.. $30-$55 per POUR. for a mid af $100 bottle of wine lol. 55 dollars per glass of wine and we could not get an acknowledgment whatsoever. We ended up getting up and leaving and as we were walking out the bartender ran over (super quick btw, so he does have legs) and said hey where are you guys going, and we said we're leaving and he said "I was gonna come over right now" It was so cringe like he was chasing a tip from us since we had a medium size party. Not worth the hype, not worth the reviews, the influencers who post about this place probably worked something out with the management or hotel because this place is a total miss. Not even a swing and a miss. I can't say enough bad things about it.

The chocolate cake was so dry that it was practically inedible. There's cool Mexican art on the wall and table was clean and wiped down. There's not too big of a menu and what they have is made really well. The chips and salsa were good. I like how light the chips are. The free salsa had more and better flavor than the red, but both are good. I got El Bàsico burrito and it was like how I used to eat it growing up when my parents would make it for me. I asked for a side of the poblano salsa they use for the chilaquiles and it was so good! It became with a side of plain crema. I left full and happy! My wife got a Quesataco with a side of frijoles and papas. The taco had a lot of meat and was super tasty. They gave you a small side of consume and that didn't disappoint either. The papas didn't have too much flavor but were nice and crispy. The beans were my wife's favorite. They have a slight kick and bomb flavor. I'm glad to have this place in our neighborhood and I look forward to coming back again!

Our party of three ordered the spicy garlic edamame (the BEST by far), tuna carpaccio, lemon cilantro roll, caterpillar roll and crusader roll. We also ordered the chicken fried rice for the first time. We like to pour the leftover garlic sauce from the edamame onto rice. Delicious.. recommend. We rarely have any complaints, but this time the a/c seemed not to be working too well. It was warm. But not enough to take off a star. The tuna carpaccio is delicious with a slice of mango, avocado and generous portion of seaweed salad in each bite. Plenty of cucumbers too. The restaurant was busy as usual and other than the a/c not working well, we enjoyed our meal very much!

We had the stuffed jalapeños, Drop it Like It's hot roll, Crispy rice burgers & Creamy tuna tacos and a Lychee Martini. I really liked the Drop it like it's hot roll and the crispy rice burgers. There's lots of TVs around the restaurant to be able to watch the games. Plenty of parking and surprisingly not busy.
