For what we ordered I will say the positive was the great value you get in quantity. Service was…read morequick but I do wish they had more accessible menus rather than the screens that didn't show all their available options. Also everything we ordered included avocado slices however they were out, and I wish this was replaced with maybe a side salad or something else to compensate. The caldo left something to be desired, I do hope the sancocho available on weekends is better. The best bite was definitely the Colombian Beef Empanadas. The Aji (the salsa it comes with) is also really yummy. The picada is definitely enough for two people however flavorwise, without the Aji it also left me feeling like I could have just ordered tacos instead.

A new bakery close to Chinook Mall. Located right beside Gaucho. It is on the main floor of an…read moreoffice building which is a weird location to have a bakery. They have a nice selection of pastries and dessert for a reasonable price. They also have a selection of drinks and seating area for people to enjoy their pastry and coffee. I had their lemon tart and ube bar and both were quite good. I came in the morning and their display was a little empty but they are starting out. Why bake so much stuff if you can't sell it all yet. I think they need to advertise their cafe somehow so more people will know about it. I found out about this place from a Foodie Facebook group. I have to admit, parking is not the best. Since it's an office building you have to register and pay for parking. I know for Gaucho they will reimburse or validate your parking. Don't know what Bake Venue will do especially if you go there to grab and go. Hopefully they will figure that out and let your customers know.

Love love love this bakery! I constantly crave their red bean donuts (and other sweet breads)…read more I usually get all my Korean groceries from Arirang and when I do I never forget to drop by the Korean Bakery. And when I do, I always buy all the red bean donuts they have ready on their display. On my most recent visit(yesterday), they were almost sold out and only had 2 left! Oh I was so sad! But we ended up buying some pizza bread and cinamon buns anyways so that made me happy right away. My favorite part about all their bread is that it's super fresh and their red bean bun, which is a family favorite, is filled with a tons of super tasty red bean filling and the bread itself is soft and chewy. It does tend to be a bit oily, but I could care less! It's soooo good! The bakery is family owned and the owners care about their customers a lot. I have never been disappointed with their service. So I definitely recommend the Korean Bakery - there are lots of other bread options for everyone, not just the red bean bun (if you're not into red bean)!
