I have a huge sweet tooth and this is a great place to go for some homemade vegan desserts. I come by every other day because it is a bit pricey otherwise I would've been coming every single day. I've tried their vegan cupcakes, vegan chocolate cups, vegan cream cheese bolios, vegan donuts and conchas. My favorites has to be the bolios and donuts because they never disappoint! I love this place. Whether it's vegan or regular all their pan is fantastic. The conchas are brightly colored and they taste even better than they look. I agree with the other reviewers that the conchas are unbelievably soft. They also make a bread that is native to Oaxaca that is a can't miss item. I warm the bread up and have it with honey, it so good. They also make Bolio every day, incredibly fresh. Found this bakery on a friend's IG and boy is my daughter glad I did! We came to try their Vegan options. My daughter has a dairy and egg allergy so it's always hard to find anything safe for her to eat. We bought a concha, a beet brownie and a "tres leches" cake. First time here! Place was very clean inside. I've been craving pan dulce for a while and the place my family used to go to is too far. Due to covid you can't get your own bread but lady working bagged my bread for me and was really nice explaining their drinks and vegan options. I got a few pieces of bread and an horchata latte. Pan is good but ,I didn't realize I paid 4 plus dollars for each bollio with cream cheese . It was kinda pricey for what I usually pay . It was alotta time to get in and out of there being you have to point to the bread you want , usually we just grab out of the case at most pan places , but over all the bread was nice and fluffy . read more

I was standing in like and two girls taking pictures were in front of me, a staff girl came up to them and gave both girls some complimentary orchata.. I assumed she would give me some since I was also in like waiting in the sun but she didn't. That is not good customer service. Additionally their bread is dry, plain and overpriced. First time here, I actually found this place on yelp. I called first to ask if they had any vegan deserts. A young lady started naming all kinds of different choices. When I got there she was very helpful and told me about their biggest sellers. I got two different types for my sons girlfriend for her birthday. So excited that I found a vegan bakery somewhat near me! For the record the vegan jalapeno cream cheese filled bread was AMAZING!!! Those were my favorite before I went vegan and I never thought I'd have one again. My husband loved the baked goods as well. We literally got one of everything that was available. All were delicious. My favorites were the pineapple filled flaky pastry, the strawberry filled one, jalepeno cheese bread of course and the one that's really coated in cinnamon and sugar. It's dark brown and flat in a circle. I didn't catch the name. This place was definitely worth the 25 minute drive from where we live. The lady's working were very friendly and had big smiles. The only place I like to get pan dulce from. Every time I go I'm always the only customer in the store (cant complain, more bread for me). If you've never had pan dulce you're missing out. This place offers a variety to choose from. My personal favorites are cuernitos and conchas. Both of which taste even better when you place them in the microwave for 10 seconds and then dip them in cold milk. If you've never been to a panadería the process is simple. Walk in, get a tray and tongs, fill your plate with whatever you like and then pay at checkout. I believe most are 75 cents each. Very cheap considering how difficult they can be to make. read more

First off you need to know that they only take cash. No checks, no plastic. Cash only. The plan was to sample the pan dulces today and decide if they are good enough for a class that wants to try traditional Mexican foods on Friday. The man at the cash register was very nice. The shop looked clean. It was the end of the day, (they close at 3 on Wednesdays, we got there at 2:30) and a couple were deemed dry, although I told my kids that pan dulces aren't normally moist. The gingerbread piggies were very good, a really nice full flavor to them. I've always had some that are thick and soft, and these were a little less so, more like a cookie (but not crumbly). I like them and so did my kids. The pink crumbly cookies tasted as good as I've had, and I've had these from all over the Bay Area. For those two alone, I'll be back. The apple turnovers looked good. I bought three versions, 1. the thick/smooth pastry apple turnover was only okay, I have high hopes for the flaky pasty apple turnover, my husband hasn't eaten it yet though so I can't say. There was another one with a smooth topped pastry that smells lovely, like cinnamon, and it tastes like apple butter. It's okay, the filling is a little rubbery (again, maybe because we bought them at the close of the day) maybe they are lovely first thing in the morning. Also, one daughter loved the Concha she tried. They were out of, or, do not make the types of pan dulces that look like thick slices of French bread with a butter/sugar spread. Next time I'll go first thing in the morning. Yep, I'll be back. I want to try some of the other bakery items, I like that they aren't all super sweet, they go great with a cup of cafe con leche. read more

I've only been here once, and I am definitely going back! It's hard finding vegan options in the valley. They have an amazing brownie made from beets. It was so good. I also tried a few of their other vegan pastries. They were good as well. The young lady I spoke with was really nice and helpful. We definitely need more places like this in the valley. Came here for the vegan conchas everyone has been telling me about. Positively amazed by everything they had there!!! Non-vegan pan looked amazing, lots of options. The vegan selection was more than I thought they would have, and they look so beautiful! The girl working the counter was very helpful as well! My fiancé and I got a bag full of non-veg pan, a bag of vegan conchas, turnovers, and cuernos, and we grabbed a vegan tres leches cake slice before leaving! We ate half of it in the car because it looked so good, and now we're obsessed! It's the best tres leches cake we've had in a loooooong time! I'm so glad we came, and I can't wait to go again!
